georgiapeach717 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 If you could have ONE really frivilous, never would spend that on yourself, rediculously over priced item this year left by Santa himself under your tree, what would it be? I have decided mine would be this Kurieg(sp?) coffee maker. I think it looks like the coolest thing, but could never spend that much on a coffee maker for me since I am the only coffee drinker in my household! :) Yours?
tntsmomie Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 DH bought himself a Keurig earlier this year and he's the only coffee drinker here. He's loves it! Honestly, what I'd to have is a shopping spree for new clothes. If I could ask for one thing and know Santa would deliver, that'd be it.
momof3luvs1 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 A dyson vaccum or perhaps one of those pumba vacs that do it themselves =)
allshoppedout Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Ok don't know if you are only talking something you can buy IN STORES, and this is much more $ than a Keurig... but seriously, a major splurge~ Floor Seats to six concerts on Keith's next tour. Why six? well I thought going every-other-month to see him would be about all my could handle. If you mean an item found in a store, probably Droid phone (in $200. range, and then there is the MONTHLY fee of $30 for the internet service for it... )
Bunniq Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 probably a KindleSame for me, I really want one but don't have the extra funds to justify spending on myself this year.
dealluvr Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 deep fryer not like the old fry daddy a nice big one
conj Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 8 foot slate pool table. for DH - a new mac. topped out specs.
hockeyfanamo Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 A Kindle would be my splurge. I also can't justify spending that much on myself right now.
AudreyNicole Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 For me, a pink netbook. I don't need one, just really want one. I could never spend like that on myself. :)
sf49erfreak Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 i really want a brandon stokley broncos jersey but cant justify paying 80 for it. im really hoping one pops up on ebay that i can afford.
nick_jenni_jocelyn Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 either the other band for my wedding ring or a shopping spree for new clothes. I think i would pass out if santa brought either of them, lol.
flosmoney Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 They have kindle for pc it is a free download. It is not the same as eink reading but you can try it out. The kindle has dropped to $259 for new and refurb for $219. I n my family we have a kindle 1 and a kindle2. If you have somebody you trust you have an account shared with a gift card for payment and can read each others books.
oo7chris Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Mine isn't outrageous, but I am a lover of all things pink.. I was eyeing up the pink GPS system advertised on here recently..but I got my pink laptop as an early present so that would be pushing my luck I guess.
amez74 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 If I can dream big it would be a weekend get away with just my husband A bit more realistic would be a kindle so I can just block everyone out for a while (or just give me a book store gift card for a couple hundred bucks!!)
Marcster Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 You people all think so small... http://www.tourbikes.com/gs650.jpg A BMW F650GS, with luggage cases, and a nice fund to go touring w/o worrying about bills... ---- On a more down-to-earth level: a Nokia E75 cell phone, but I'll probably end up with it's cheaper cousin, the E63. And a dehydrator, so I can make some jerky. Mmmmmm, jerky! Nom, nom, nom! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Food/hungry.gif

I want a Vespa but it is past the moon out of my wildest dreams this year! I thought we were talking something frivolous but possibly affordable.

But you're right, I was thinkiing on the small end with a Kindle.
georgiapeach717 Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 i love everyone's frivilous both big and small! and ummm....PASS THE JERKY!!!
pinkshamrocks Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 If I can't have a Porsche, I'll settle for a cuisinart rotisserie. :)
guilliam Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 A 19' Bow Rider Boat with all the skis and accessories. Realistically, a pair of Ugg Boots. But I can't justify spending that much money on a pair of boots I would only wear maybe once a week.
mom2monkiesx3 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 A 2010 Plum Crazy Challenger SRT8 SUPERCHARGED
stacyk9 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 My big splurge would either be Nook from Barnes & Noble or the new frappuccino maker from Mr. Coffee.
flosmoney Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I want a honda magna or a harley sportser . I am trying to talk my husband into thinking I need a bigger bike. I need help to make it happen. flosmoney
Elmck Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 A Wii with a wii fit. (I don't know if I would really lose weight with it, but it would be fun to try.)
