whew! almost missed out on this! I'm in for one!

Saw the Flypens marked down 30%, making them around $85-ish. My store had 4 or 5 left. Still too high for me to even consider getting it for my almost 9 year old.

surprisingly enough, I found mine on an endcap in stationary. It was on the bottom shelf of where they had the rest of the school supplies. So it really DOES pay to look throughout the entire store!

Woo! I managed to get the vending machine tonight! I looked in 3 Targets last week, and one magically appeared tonight at the one I was shopping at. It's going to be one of DH's christmas presents!

thanks for the heads up! I bought DH 6 shirts for $17 (3 polo, 3 t-shirts)! I'll probably go back tomorrow to pick up some more for the various men in my family.

was at my local target this morning, and came across a video now XP... it wasn't on file and it was the last one! I guess it normally goes for 30-35, but I got it for 7.22. Just another christmas present for my son this year

I had been looking for these, just to keep my eye on them. I ended up getting one today, marked $34.98 (there was only one left!). I was actually debating today on getting a new (cheap) keyboard instead, mainly because I couldn't find the set! I think I'll send the laptop mouse to my hubby in Korea.

Just got back from our Target, the Dollar spot still said 50%, but was scanning at 75% (including the 2 for $5... I may have to go back later and stock up on the tools they have!). The Bounty 15 packs on the shelf were marked at 6.74, but the ones on the end cap were marked $11 (15%). Like many other Targets, our School Supplies were marked at 30%. Any idea when they'll be marked down again?

I went last night, and ugh. I'll never do it again. 25% off Christmas stuff, 50% off trees, an extra 75% off clearance linen plus a few odd assorted things. The clearance linen, there was MAYBE a shelf of stuff (on an end unit) with pillow cases and a few nice throws. They were giving away tickets for a chance to buy an Xbox 360, but you had to be there from 9-midnight, so you could be there for the drawing. I left 30 minutes into it. They've condensed the toy section down from 5 rows to 2 3/4... I'm almost dreading the 50% toys next week! Ugh!

Just got the new sale ad for the BX/PX and they're showing 50% selected toys. Brand names they're showing are Hot Wheels, Parker Brothers, GI Joe, Mattel, Hasbro, Barbie, Fisher Price and Milton Bradley.

DH and I both have the Delphi Roady 2's in our car. He use to have a MyFi until he dropped it.. grr. Once you're signed up with XM, you can stream it through your computer... I'm sure it's the same with Sirius. But, you don't have EVERY channel through the computer, just the main ones. We went with XM over Sirius because we liked the look of the units, and the fact Opie and Anthony are on XM (dh loves em). I'm doubly glad, because we're moving to Alaska next year (Alaska and Hawaii are the only states not covered), and XM just signed a deal to allow broadcasting in Canada! So we should have coverage in AK too!

Just some minor decorations inside... can't put the tree up until we get back from Disney on the 11th because the cat will chew on it!

... wow That's... um.. wow.. how on earth does.. never mind. I don't want to know. Else my hubby will want to do it to OUR house!

Hands down, it's the Folgers (I think.. one of the coffee ones) one with Peter coming home for Christmas, and waking his parents up with the smell of brewed coffee.... Since I've been away for many holidays, it hits close to home for me.

AL has a state tax of 8%, but when you figure in city and county taxes, we pay 10% here in Montgomery AL. I REALLY miss living in DE, especially being able to go to the outlet stores and not having to pay tax...
