I totally agree with you about both books. I will be getting the FP Laugh & Learn table from TRU only bcuz I have a 15% off coupon & Im getting the Scoot so Cute baby from Target that they have a price cut for. Its $19.99, which is about $8 savings. I hope their ads make up for their toy books!

Yes. It shouldnt be a problem, but keep in mind that price adjystments are only given up to 7 days after your layaway is put on. So make sure you put the layaway on the Friday or Saturday before BF.

Im the same way. I work FT, however Im able to take Spring & Christmas break with the kids. BF is a part of our Thanksgiving holiday, so I dont worry about that. When they have half days & school closings here & there, I just bring them to work with me :)

Totally agree. I ALWAYS buy most of my Kmart items on Thanksgiving & then on BF I "might" pick up about 3 or 4 rinky dink items, nothing major. Come on KMart Thanksgiving!!!

Its not the secret sale. I dont think they'll put up that info until tomorrow, or even Sunday, since thats when the Secret Sale is. Last year the day before the Secret Sale, they would give a sneak peek of a couple items, but you would have to go back on the next day for the rest of the items. So, hopefully we get something tomorrow.

There's a STRONG possibility that I wont be going to Walmart first this year. I mean, now that I think about it, I got things (pjs, towels, washclothes, board games) that I could have easily bought later in the day or even the next day. I didnt get any big ticket items. I did PM about 6 Leapster games that I got for $5 each, but still wasnt worth waiting outside & an hour in line for. I have come to the conclusion that I WASTED MY TIME! lol My decision has been made: I'll get there when I get there!

My dd7 still believes. She, too, went through the same thing with kids at school saying that Santa isnt real & that their mom's are Santa. I asked her what she thought & she said she thinks he's real, so I explained to her thats okay to believe & that other ppl wont always believe in the same things you do. I dont think she'll believe next year but I still have my dd1! I know dd7 will help keep the magic alive for her sister's sake even when she outgrows it.
