I paid 20.00 for my granddaughters 2 years ago. I had no idea taking out the light bulb would raise them so high. I always buy her jiffy cake mixes or funfetti cake mixes. The easy bake mixes are too high. Same with the Wilton Easy Bake cake decorating tools, We buy regular icing and the rings fit right inside the cans. My son bought her a DQ Blizzard machine last xmas and it made 2 dinky cups of ice cream. I went to town and bought a 2 quart ice cream mix pack for 3.00 and we spent all night and 8 trays of ice making blizzards.

Don't get one with a plastic cheapy lid. THey don't hold the heat in as well. Get one with a glass lid. Mine is a large 5 quart one that I got for a wedding present 26 years ago. I couldn't put a chicken in it unless it was cut up, but my son got a 7 quart one with a timer and uses it all the time.

Mine will be the same. My daughter got divorced, so 4 less people there as he had 3 kids. My son got divorced, but has a new girlfriend. I have a xmas club at my bank and put 25 a week in it, so I'm good. I got the check 2 weeks ago and am not cashing it till black friday. My youngest is getting the Kindle Fire which I've preordered and pay on every week. It will be paid for when it ships, as will teh 70.00 Zelda game that comes out the following week. Those 2 purchases won't count off my xmas club. I've also been picking up toys for my grandkids all along.

It only has 4gb memory. The Kindle Fire is the same price and has 8gb memory and free cloud storage. Still in stock in stores for layaway though, although it's sold out online.

Yeah, it will shatter the glass top. It says no cast iron and no pressure cookers in huge letters on teh front page of the manual. THey appliance guy says they get too hot and the top is either ceramic or glass which can't handle the heat.

I preordered my ds14 one on date of release. It is similar to the ipod touch only much better according to all the things I am reading about it on amazon. I am over there in teh forums everyday. My son wanted an Ipod touch last year for the game apps and movies, but changed his mind later. He is very excited abuot the Fire. My oldest has an Ipad and he says it would be nice if it was cheaper, but for the price, teh fire is sufficient. THe fire will also play flash, where the ipod and ipad won't. I would get it preordered though. They are selling 50,000 a day and the availability of the k3 last year at xmas was hard to find. I preordered mine and pay 25 a week on it. It will be paid off the week it ships.

Netflix streaming on the fire is not available at this time. They have had favorable talks with Netflix, but when it is released, it will have no app at that time. The Fire can't compare to the Ipad, but on amazon they say it compares to the Ipod Touch, only bigger. It doesn't have the eink, so will be harder to read on outside.

The Fire has flash , that has been talked about . There is a comparison thread on amazon between teh nook and the Fire. The fire has a more advanced os among many other things. The nook is a reader, the fire is a tablet. You can go search the forums and see for yourself, but you can't compare the two, the fire is more comparable to the ipod touch. The nook has never had text to speech. I have bveen looking at some cool interactive books on amazon, that would make reading much more fun for a child. I have one on preorder for mine. He is older and wants it for the apps. SOme of them are very educational.

Unless it is specified to get it on the day it comes out, you have to have prime to get it fast. I always get mine in 2 days. MOvies were release day, but nothing else I've ordered has been.

Also,if at any time during preorder it goes cheaper, even if only for an hour, you get the lowest price. I preordered Zelda Skyward Sword 2 weeks ago, and it's no longer available now. THey sold all thier available copies and it doesn't come out for a month. I'd go ahead.

That wouldn't apply in this case. You would buy the item at walmart, NOT buy it cheaper, and return with the other stores ad for a gift card. You wouldn't be buying twice from walmart. Only once. They aren't selling you the item at the other stores lower price. YOu have to buy it first at walmart and then come in with your ad. It DOES address when they put the price lower. IT says anytime from November 1 through christmas. You buy it at walmart first at their price and then see an ad somewhere else for cheaper and they just give you a gift card for the difference. Like the story above says, has to be same size, same color , same everything.

This summer I bought the Cleo deNile and Deuce Gorgon 2 pack set of Monster high Dolls, priced on teh box for 15.00 at Family Dollar, The same set is still 30 at Walmart.

I laughed my butt off when I got it. Talk about cheap. It's so tiny I almost threw it out.

I haven't used a pressure cooker since I got my smooth top stove, can't use them on it and I've never seen an electric one.

I have bought all mine at the farm supply stores during sales. I usually buy the stonewashed hooded zip ups. 2 years ago Dickies had a huge clearance sale in January and I bought 5 pairs of coveralls and jackets for 22.00 each shipped . They are almost as good as Carhartt. Unless your son is very tiny, he won't be able to wear a small. My small 14 year old wears a medium

They ALL still have the browser, but to browse the internet its wifi only, even with the Fire , it's wifi only. The only thing they did was LIMIT the 3g use on the 3g models to amazon store and wikipedia. All kindles from the kindle keyboard on have internet browsers. THe used to have free 3g, now only the keyboard has free 3g, the others are wifi only for browsing. Yes, they are all ereaders, but they do still have browsers, I have one.

Kind of shady that they are selling it for the same price HP dropped it to. I'm glad I have a Fire ordered.

Just some info, kindles don't have pixels, They have a liquid ink screen like an etch a sketch. It doesn't matter where you got it. all kindles have a year warranty, no matter where you bought it. Mine was a gift, but i've had it replaced twice. You just tell amazon you got it as a gift. No big deal, they will replace it.
