Does anyone know when Home Depot stocks outdoor furniture? I realize that it could be different for different parts of the country - I live in Southern Wisconsin. I would consider going to Northern Illinois to get what I am looking for. The furniture that I am interested in is Dana Point by Hampton Bay. I could purchase it on-line but I want to see it and take a test sit first. I contacted corporate office via e-mail and they replied but were very vague about when the stores would be stocked in our area. So I called the local store and they said the time table hadn't been sent out by corporate yet. This furniture sells very fast and I want to have the opportunity to see it before I buy. Any suggestions or information is appreciated.

need to find non-candy egg fillers
boblabontefan replied to autumnroser's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Rice Krispie treats sound great! I might try this for this year. I purchase small prizes for goodie bags from www.orientaltrading.com. Since you are buying these items in bulk it is a good deal. -
I think Home Depot has 10% off all LG appliance til March 12th. Try this link http://www.xpbargains.com/st_deals.php/Home_Depot_coupons.htm

Just back from my trip to the new Dollar Tree. I got out of there for under $10 - I don't know how I did it. I picked up 6 different NASCAR themed Pez dispensers. H and I have a NASCAR rec room and are huge fans of the sport. I figured if I would have found them somewhere else I might have spent less per unit, but these are the first ones I have seen. I also picked up an umbrella and a brush. I did take a friend with me and she got some cleaning supplies, an umbrella and some candy. The store was busy. Lots of Easter stuff out so I will be going back.

....I think you were treated wrong, the only thing I wanted to add was next time take out your cell phone if you have one, and take a picture for corporate, a picture is worth a thousand words! RMOL66 had posted this earlier. A picture would have come in handy to e-mail to corporate, not to mention that you could have used it when talking to the store manager. I might have to look into a cell phone like that.

My new store has a frozen foods section too. I saw some pizzas, fruit juices, etc. I didn't look too close because I really wasn't interested at the time (not knowing about quality). From the sounds of it I should really consider taking a chunk of cash with me. I doubt I will get out of there for under $20! LOL!

Thanks for the replies. It really helps to know what others think about a store. I will let you know what I get on my shopping trip on Thursday!

Thanks for the info on the dinner plates and the glow-in-the dark stuff. That will come in handy over the 4th of July Holiday! Spices - I hadn't thought of that. I will check that out on Thursday.

I did notice the large selection of gift bags and party supplies (napkins, plates, etc.). At $1 per package for plates and napkins that is a huge savings over the other paper goods stores. They had a small amount of Easter supplies out and a large (3 or 4 small aisles) area to put more in. I will have to check it out Thursday to see what new stock they have. They had an aisle for toys - some board games (checkers, etc) and lots of smaller type toys. Great for kids parties - That is for sure. I also notice some dinner plates, etc. Has anyone ever bought any of these? Might be nice to get a small set for summer picnics.

Thanks everyone. The store I checked out this weekend had a lot of brand name snack chips - Doritos, Cheetos, etc... Of course the signs say "Guaranteed Fresh" but I know you have to take that with a grain of salt. Awsome Orange Cleaner - I will have to try that. Any other products you would recommend?

They just opened up a Dollar Tree store near me. I browsed and liked what I saw, but does anyone out there have any good tips for this store. Like when do they put out new merchandise, do they have clearance sales, what about the groceries - are they good/fresh? Any tips, hints and advice is appreciated.

The Walgreens I went to this morning had tons of plush animals for 50% off. A lot of them didn't have any Valentine reference on them at all.... maybe a good buy for those Easter baskets or to give to your local police department (I bought 5 just for this purpose). Oh yea, I also stocked up on Dove Dark chocolate. I found Dove dark valentine hearts in the regular candy aisle. Maybe someone's stash????

Another place to look for dresses would be chadwicks.com. Especially if you are not into the "frilly" wedding dress. Their bridesmaid selections are also pretty nice. A neat idea for weddings (I wish I would have know about this when I was getting married) is a butterfly release. You can check it out at this web site. http://www.butterflyreleasecompany.com/ My Niece was married this past summer and she loves butterflies. I threw her a bridal shower and we did a small release (a dozen painted ladies). She loved it and the butterflies stayed around in her garden for a few weeks.

Valentine's Day Gift For A Man?
boblabontefan replied to ljvoskuil's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Valentines Day is when I treat my DH like a king. I usually make reservations at a restaurant, then we go to a movie (or come home and rent one). I buy him flowers and a copy of Hemmings Motor News (instead of candy). Instead of the massage coupon I give him a great massage to get things going. It is the holiday that I use to thank him for everything he does for me. -
Warn 3700 lb winch for car trailer
boblabontefan replied to boblabontefan's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Thanks for the info! My H will be suprised, he didn't even think I was paying attention to what he was saying. -
My gift to my H this year is going to be a winch for his car trailer. I only know of one store in my area (south central WI) that has this particular winch for sale. Anyone know where else sells these winches? (model #603700 or #65112)

You can play gameboy advance games on a DS?! Well slap me silly! ... I didn't know this. Are all gameboy advance games compatible? Are there any other games that are compatible on the DS?
