  1. Personalized flasks is another idea. That seems to be the gift d'jour around here.
  2. I'm looking too. Right now the best deals that I have found only end up being $20 off or back in gift cards and that is from Walmart.com. I really want a system with an extra remote and chargers. Extra games would be great but not necessary.
  3. I took my Sis-In-Law and great niece with me and we got 15 scarves total. Got there right when they opened and the store manager took a picture of the people in line while making the statement "Our store was the only one in the area with a line waiting to get in." They had plenty of scarves and no one had a problem getting just what they wanted. Our store had a limit of 5 per transaction (not person). Could have got more if we wanted to. I got 10 of them to give to the families we adopt at Christmas time for our work.
  4. Saturday Nov 7th. OLD NAVY will be selling their performance fleece scarves for 1$. Limit 5. (I just called my local ON to verify. You might want to do the same.)
  5. Have you looked here? http://www.nextag.com/ms-pac-man-arcade-game/search-html
  6. The microwave where I work blew over the holidays as well. I wonder if it is a consipracy. We replaced it with a GE 1.3 cu.ft./1200 watt. Model #JES1358WL from Walmart. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5030823 Our microwave gets used A LOT. This was the best one I could find (on short notice) for the price. $99.00. So far it is getting rave reviews from my co-workers.
  7. Fleet Farms and Farm & Fleet also sell Carhartt - they should be going on sale very soon if not already.
  8. JACKPOT! I found 3 -12 packs of the Diet SMCS at an Exxon station. Then I found 2 -12 packs of the regular SMCS at the Kwik Trip across the street. I should be set for a couple more months now. I'm with you DLM - I would buy this product year round.
  9. I finally found 3 - 20 oz bottles of the SM Free Cranberry Splash at a CVS. I did also find some 12 pks of the SM Cranberry Splash at CVS too. Those three bottles won't last me long but they will tide me over through the weekend. :) Target was completely out, another grocery store in town was completely out. Maybe I will check out the Kwik Trips and other gas stations around my area.
  10. I know that the Cranberry Splash Sierra Mist is a seasonal item. However I figured it would be in stores through the new year. I went to my large local grocery store on Saturday and planned on picking up a couple of packs and the Pepsi guy was carting it out of the store! I stopped him and asked if he had any of the diet variety (his cart only had the regular kind on it) and he said it was all gone. I haven't had the opportunity to check Walmart or Target yet. Is this common practice? I would have thought it would have lasted through the New Year and even then until it sold out.
  11. Has anyone had any luck getting a better discount when buying two desktop packages? I am looking for a good desktop and a friend of mine is looking for the same thing. Will Best Buy, Circuit City or any other retailer give a discount when buying multiples?

  13. oops - thanks for the correction. I misread the "minimum" part. :) Still, it sucks to be in Wisconsin!
  14. Limit of 2 per store?! That should cause some problems. Not to mention the *prices and availability may vary in Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Walmart.com - so you can't even buy it on-line.
  15. Did anyone other than me make it to Michaels on Thanksgiving? I always go on BF to by baskets for centerpieces for the winter luncheon we have at work. However I figured it would be worth it to beat the rush and use the 20% off coupon (instead of going on BF and getting 25% off). There were only about 10 people in the store and I had a great selection fo baskets to choose from!
  16. Cindy, I am looking at desktops too. I just haven't found the deal that is right for me yet. I anticipate getting a desktop with a 22" LCD monitor and printer around $500. I haven't found that deal yet.
  17. Misty, our 42" LCD is in our "sunroom" lots and lots of windows with a southern exposure. No problem seeing the TV and no glare.
  18. Hey Misty, I currently own a Toshiba Regza 32" and 42" and I love them both. However if you are thinking BF deals check out this review from Yahoo Shopping. http://shopping.yahoo.com/articles/yshoppingarticles/170/10-best-bets-for-black-friday/
  19. I picked it up this weekend. :) However I see a very similar one in the Shopko flyer for $26.99 for BF. If anyone is still looking for a good deal.
  20. I received the ad in yesterday's mail.
  21. A notification in my e-mail today for an early bird sale (til Noon) at C&B on Black Friday. Sweaters $9.99 and Mocknecks $6.99 also B1G1 50% off. Here is a link to the website. http://www.christopherandbanks.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=3400523&email=mainimage This is on-line and in store **on line deals start Thursday!
  22. The ad in the flyer specifically says that the coupons will not work with the waffle maker. However it is still a great price. Hey JackJack - it must be fate - my brother's name is Jack and I am buying the waffle maker for his wife!
  23. JCPenney has a Cooks brand Belgian Waffle Maker in their sale ad for tomorrow for $29.00! The original price of this flip style waffle maker is $79. Has anyone tried this particular brand out? I am thinking of this as a Christmas present to my S-I-L. They have 3 kids. Is the bake time too slow? Does the waffles stick? Any info would be appreciated. Here is a link to look at the waffle maker.... http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/x6.aspx?CatNum=780-2133&JSEnabled=false&hdnOnGo=true&cmResetCat=true&CmCatId=EXTERNAL|searchdepartment
  24. That link just took me back to the "other stores" listing and it isn't there. I am looking for Shopko's flyer as well. Any news?
