First I want to say congrats!! I think the biggetst thing is checking what time zone the sales start and figuring out when you need to be online.

I was at Younkers about 2 weeks ago and they were setting up all the Christmas trees and began decorating them.

I don't even like bringing my kids "regular" shopping with me. Don't think I'd go if I had to bring them on Black Friday. In fact this year my husband might have to work. My oldest is 17 and could watch the younger two if doesn't have to work.

My middle son wants a Nintendo DS. Last year for black friday they were $89. The price now is $99 so I'm hoping for a good deal this year. I'd like a tv for our bedroom. Maybe a soda stream for my husband and a xm radio w/subscription.

Can't wait! I did the summer one and had a lot of fun.

I looked those up. Kind of neat but to much of a choking hazard for our household. Seems like so many toys come out for girls. This was on some kind of "hot toy list" last year and I picked it up. Are you sure it was for one of the books you ordered and not the current one coming out? My gramma and I get their magazine so we are on their mailing list (along with their other magazines.) and she also recieved a bill. She never ordered a book from them ever. I think they are sending out "bills" to their new cookbook in hopes that people will pay it then they will get the new book. A few weeks ago I recieved a bill for one of their other magazines (Cooking for Two, I think?) and called them about it. I was told it's just sent out even if I didn't order it. After their magazine , Taste of Home, started allowing advertising I think they lost a lot of money on subscriptions. They've seemed to resort to making it look like you signed up for another magazine or ordered a book by sending out bills before any order is made.

Yeah so far I can only find them from Amazon for a reasonable price. I'd prefer trying them on but if I have to exchange them then that's what I'll do.

Best Buy was also carrying Pillow Pets. Not sure which ones though. I only remember because my youngest son knocked a bunch off the shelf when we walked by. But it's an unusual place to look so they may have some.

I'm waiting for tomorrows Walgreen's ad. They used to have a lot of candy coupons and I would stock up. I also as a tradition do an ornament every year.
