  1. So far it looks like most stores are equal when it comes to a PS3. Walmart and Target have the same bundle. I have a Target Red card so that's an additional 5% off which would cover the sales tax here in WI. Walmart opens at 10pm but the ps3 doesn't go on sale until midnight so it means just sitting around longer to get it. Walmart did have a wireless printer though. I'm kinda wishing Amazon would have a comparable bundle.
  2. I just read through a bunch of the reviews for the one priced at $159 and it sounds like most people needed a bypass part that ran an additional $80-$100. People seem happy with it though. Not sure if I want to spend that much on a mini van I only plan on keeping another 2 years.
  3. Years ago I looked into getting on installed and it was A LOT. I just looked at Best Buy and the price has come down. Installation is included. There could be additional costs for extra parts depending on vehicle. So I'd call and get a quote. This may end up on my list this year. :) Maybe my husbands car also... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Avital+-+4111+Remote+Start+System+(Basic+Install+Included)+-+Black/9495076.p?id=1218114247707&skuId=9495076

  6. I forgot about the Egg Nog Milkshakes at McDonalds. :)
  7. Radio Controlled Airplane. These look cool and they are pretty big. http://www.chiefaircraft.com/radio-control Lots of add-ons (like being able to land on water) and it looks like you can build your own. http://media.chiefaircraft.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/265x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/c/a/carf_291000d_2.jpg
  8. Ok, I know you wanted men to answer but I had a few ideas lol. Flying lessons, parachuting, a boat, snowmobiles, jet ski, helicopter ride tour, or a trip to a favorite concert.
  9. I just picked up the DS game they had. It wasn't much off but I think my son will like it.
  10. I found my first Target deal today. I was able to get 14 boxes of tissues for .14cents each. Whenever a deal is posted for their I've never found it before. So I was happy to find this. lol
  11. I usually go to stores in Appleton, Wi. I live about 30 minutes away.
  12. Thanks Eve, I have all 3. :)
  13. I don't usually burn many candles because of animals and kids. I do have lots of village stuff and also collect Christmas snow globes. I was looking at ornament hangers online tonight and started thinking nice ornaments would be pretty to display and collect. Of course I would need room to start another collection.

    Egg Nog

We stopped at the grocery store and I picked up some Egg Nog. I'm the only one in the house that likes it. Just curious if if others drink it.
  15. I rarely do rebates anymore. It's just such a pita to hope the rebate shows up. Actually the only ones we've done for some time now are for Menard's. We've done hundres of rebates through them and I've never once had a problem. We've done a lot of work on our house or purchased other items there.
  16. I agree. I've been able to do lots of shopping online in recent years. There was one year I was able to buy from Best Buy online before I headed out the door to stand in line. The better the retailers make their websites to handle the black Friday traffic the more likely I'll shop online.
  17. I've found some neat gifts there for my mom. She loved them. I also picked up my dishes I use for Christmas there along with matching serving pieces. I had to buy each piece seperatly but it was the only place (that year anyway) that I could find a setting with the kind of Santa I wanted. I believe I have a service for 10 or 12 plus the serving pieces. All of it was around $200 if I remember correctly.
  18. We went to Best Buy last night just to look. We've decided to wait. We plan on moving in about 1 1/2 years and could use the money better until then. Plus we were going to wall mount it which would only be "temporary" since we have to fix up that room still before we sell the house. So another time. :)
  19. I started thinking the same this year because of all the earlier openings. This year it ended up working for us since later on Friday we are leaving to celebrate our 10year anniversary for the the weekend. So I can go shopping and still get some sleep before we drop the 2 younger kids off. I don't think I'll go to as many stores. I've also been able to pick up a lot of items already. TRU had a B1G1 1/2 off on wooden train stuff which is what my youngest is getting as his main gift. We picked up a Nintendo 3DS for my middle one last night. Mainly some small gifts for the kids and a PS3 for my oldest left. Still have family and my husband but if I can find deals before Black Friday and a few after I'll be happy. I've always enjoyed standing in line (even here in WI :)) but the crowds seem to be changing over the years. Lots of line rushers and just out right rudeness in and out of the store. Maybe having a scaled back year for me this year is what I need.
  20. Now that we picked up a 3DS for my middle son my oldest wants a PS3. I see that Radio Shack will have one for $199-$20 gift card for Black Friday. So hopefully other stores will try and do better than that.
  21. Yep, I checked all of them online and some in store and still found nothing. We ended up going to Target tonight and picked up the Nintendo 3DS. Paid $169 then got back a $25 gift card. I also used the coupon from the toy catalog that gave me another $5 gift card. So we picked out a 3D game and used the gift cards to pay for it. So for $169 I got the 3DS and 1 3D game. Plus I used my Target Red Card so that's an additional 5% off which paid for the sale tax since ours is 5%. I checked the return policy and it's 45 days so if a better deal comes along I'll see if it's worth returning and rebuying.
  22. I've searched Walmart, TRU, Target, and Amazon for a DS Lite and can't find one. Not really sure I want to get a 3D one. Target did have the 3D one for $169-$25 gift card so it'd be $144.
  23. I'm hoping to get a Nintendo DS Lite this year for one of my kids. I'd like to see the price drop to $70 at least for Black Friday. They are still $99 new but with the new 3D one out maybe for Black Friday they will try and get rid of the older version.
  24. On our list this year is a tv for our bedroom. We'd like to be able to watch Netflix on it. Are we better off getting an internet ready tv or purchasing a Roku box? We use a Roku in the living room for streaming and like it. We are looking at either a 26 or 32 inch that's wall mountable. So I was thinking the internet ready would be better since there isn't anywhere on the wall to add a Roku lol. I was also hoping not to spend more than $300 and I've seen prices come down lately so that's good. Advice? Thanks.
