  1. That's a great present for the holidays!!
  2. I was at the jewelry store today getting a ring fixed and started looking at the Pandora bracelets. So cool! The lady gave me a book with all the bracelets, charms etc. in it. The book is huge. I think this might make my Christmas list this year. I can go through the book and circle what I want. DH will be set for awhile with ideas for me.
  3. Did some SS shopping, bought the ornament, and also mailing labels. It's a start. :)
  4. Thanks everyone. This is going to be a gift for my 5 year old and I wasn't sure if he was to young for one. Time to look into reviews.
  5. Does anyone have a portable dvd player? I was thinking of getting one for the kids to use in the house. We have a built in one in the van and rarely use it. I've seen some in the ads for around $50. Are they durable? Easy to use? Thanks
  6. I don't have a cricut. But I go to lots of craft fairs this time of year. I'm just not to crafty or have the patience for it lol. Sent from my AS740 using GottaDeal
  7. Mine get an ornament every year. Candy My oldest has a car so I usually pick up a gift card for gas and fast food places. Matchbox cars, small puzzles, cups/mugs with hot chocolate. One of my kids just learned how to tie his shoes so maybe some different color shoe laces since his still come untied alot and are wearing out. Magnets to hold their stuff from school on the fridge. I would like to find their names.
  8. Anything from Bath and Bodyworks. A Coach wallet, maybe another purse (there's an outlet withing driving distance :)). Some hot pads for the kitchen table that dh and I saw at a cooking store. Jewelry is always nice. I've been wanting a mothers ring but kind of want to save that for a Mother's Day present. Maybe a charm bracelet. I've always wanted one. I think Jared recently had a commercial for one. Maybe an automatic car start. Don't plan on keeping the van much longer so not sure if it's worth it but it'd be nice. I use to always pick kitchen items our household stuff but started picking stuff that's just for me. I've though about a Keurig but I think my dh and son (for hot chocolate) would also use it. Just like when I picked new dishes, pots and pans, or bed linens. I want fun just for me stuff.
  9. It may be possible that he really doesn't know. I know someone who started a seasonal job for TRU today. I've talked with this person about Black Friday for the past few weeks just chatting, even before they got the TRU job. They had orientation this weekend and asked if everyone would be working the 9pm opening. The manager asked how they knew that's when the opening was, it was suppose to be secret. lol I'm pretty sure I'm the one who mentioned it when we'd talk. But from what it sounds like managment at the store level doesn't know everything so they can't really tell you what they don't know.
  10. The Kmart in the town I go to (if I ever go) never has anyone there. There's only a Kmart and a Walgreens in that town so I think most people go elsewhere with more stores. Plus the manager at that location is horrible to his employees. I've seen him yell at people over nothing. Even on a regular day it's a mess and chaotic. I have gone on T-Day if the ad was good. Maybe 3 people waiting outside a few minutes before opening. Kinda pathetic. lol Black Friday is usually busier though.
  11. One of my kids wants a ps3 si I'll probably get it from Target. I agree about the 3DS deal. That's when I picked one up plus I used the coupon for an addition $5 giftcard that came on the toy catalog. So then I used the $25 + $5 gift cards to pick up a $30 3D game for basically free. I used my RedCard for the 5% off and WI sales tax is 5%. In the end I paid $169 for the 3DS and $1.xx for the game.
  12. If you have a Fry's in your area they have the regular ds $99 but for pick-up only. No shipping option available. http://www.frys.com/category/Outpost/Games/Nintendo+DS/
  13. My laptop was getting warm recently (not to the point of shutting down though) and I bought a can of air and blew the dust out of it. Now it's fine and doesn't get so hot. Just a thought to get it to last until you pick up a new one.
  14. I'd like to see printers.
  15. I think I'm going to get him a GameStop gift card also. He said he wants the Worms games because he sees my dh play the computer version. lol But those games are $35 and $28 on Amazon but only about $8 each at GameStop used. Then he can pick them out.
  16. This is the one: http://www.amazon.com/Tom-Jerry-Nintendo-DS/dp/B000H5U5DA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321201168&sr=8-1 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51uPymCj6dL._AA300_.jpg
  17. A season pass to a museum, a makeover package, or magazine subscriptions. Does she like antiques? Maybe you could find a toy from an antique place that she had as a child.
  18. The games I picked up already are: Wipeout 3D, Super Monkey Ball 3D, a puzzle one Amazon had on sale, and Tom & Jerry. He loves Tom and Jerry cartoons so hopefully he'll like that. He's 9. He doesn't seem to like much of the Zelda type games. I'll have my mom pick-up a Mario game and my FIL Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. My son loved that show, even the re-runs that were recently on. He was dissapointed when he didn't see it on anymore. The next "gift time" would be maybe a game in his Easter basket. His birthday isn't until October so I just want to make sure he has enough til then.
  19. Shoot, I didn't read the reviews. I'm going to search for another car online. If I find one I'll post it. Otherwise I'll probably cancel my order. Ok, I watched a video of the toy on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Cars-Toon-Monster-Truck-Wrastlin/dp/B00383NQ7A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321192063&sr=8-1 Then searched for more cars. I think these might work? http://www.amazon.com/Disney-Exclusive-Tormentor-Frightening-Rastacarian/dp/B004B9J5BQ/ref=dp_cp_ob_t_title_1 $24.98 on Amazon http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Xd5vsNEeL._SL500_AA300_.jpg
  20. My middle son is getting the 3DS this year. About how many games should I get to go with it? So far I've picked up 4 and he'll probably get a few from family this year. Just want to make sure he doesn't get bored.
  21. Looks like I should have an easy time getting a ps3 since it's not #1 on any list.
  22. Thanks BDA15 gives 15% off also. Cost Summary Subtotal $11.99 15% off your entire order! See Terms -$1.80 Shipping $5.99 Blue Friday Extended - Enjoy free shipping on all Hot Wheels & action figures/accessories! See Terms -$5.99 Sales Tax $0.00 Total Cost $10.19
  23. So far I think I'll be in line at Target for the PS3 bundle. I have a RedCard so the 5% off will make it a better deal than Walmart. My son actually has that Ratchet and Clank game on his list so this is a good bundle for me.
