Try a Dollar store or similar. Years ago I picked up some really cute ones for 2/$1.

I've done the same thing. Which has also lead me to miss some deals in hopes for a better deal.

The only thing I have left on my list that's a bigger item is the DSi. Only Kmart has it in their ad for $20 off but at 8pm on Thanksgiving. I don't think it's worth giving up part of my Thanksgiving for $20 since that's all I'd get. I was really hoping Amazon would come down in price. Guess I still have a few weeks before Christmas to find a good deal.

Last week I ordered a iphone 4s case on the 15th in the morning and I got it on the 16th in the afternoon. If you have prime there's a chance if you order this morning it could show up tomorrow, in time for Friday.

I ordered 2 Kindles. One as a gift, one not. They each came inside another box.

Frustrated with Kmart.com. I have a few things added to the cart but can't view the cart or check out. One thing on my list this year is the DSi and they have it cheapest for Black Friday. I did an online chat and it took forever for the person to understand what problem I was having. Then they just quit responding. Ugh. I'm hoping Amazon will lower their price.

I didn't last very long. I blame GottaDeal.

I think people talk about Walmart more because they are a big easy target. The news station that posted the story did it on Facebook also. The comments are mixed. Walmart is not the only employer open on a holiday. Other stores, gas stations, hospitals, restaurants, movies, even some grocery stores are. I have a feeling people are sick of being treated like crap by employers in general. It has been an employers market for a long time and they can choose to treat employees like crap if they know they can get away with it.

On the Michael's Black Friday Ad there's a coupon for 30% off your entire purchase from 4pm-11pm on Thursday. My husband and I went last year on Thursday and it wasn't too crowded.

I'm still on the fence about this for my 10 year old. He's getting a Kindle and has a 3DS from last year. I was looking for a mp3 around $50 but they all seem so small I worry he'd lose it or break it easily. Ipod touch is bigger but more than I wanted to spend. Of course there are tons of cases for it which helps vs. the other mp3s out there. So many of these electronics do the same thing it's kinda redundant.
