Thank you for the info, when I saw the release info on the HP one is sort of brought some interest to me. I haven't used a Windows phone in a long time, got kind of gun shy on them when my last windows phone was constantly locking up and such. Would hit the button to answer a call and the phone would lock up lol.

The new one is SUPPOSED to be better on wireless, will let you know once I get a chance to try it out. Figured worst case it was $40 and we watch a lot of Hulu and Netflix so if it's smoother with those then it's all good. Thought about trying out Sling on it, thats what my in-laws use.

We are looking to pick up a few games for our Daughter. Mario Maker Just Dance (either 2016 or 2017) We MAY be getting another console at some point so that we can let her and her cousins play in the other room when we have company. Right now it's in the living room and we can watch her but when she is playing with Cousins they tend to get louder.

I'm interested to read some reviews about the new HP phone that can be docked to work like a desktop.

Before thinking about Android or Apple, I would make sure that during this research they don't require something windows based. I know in some past classes we've had to run specific programs which would not be possible on iOS or Android. Just a little food for thought

I remember one year I had been out of town working and didn't get home until late the 23rd, I ended up having to go out shopping for EVERYONE on Christmas Eve. Thankfully back then it was a lot less people. I got most of the gifts from Best Buy wasn't too busy so I was able to get in and out pretty quick. I think an extra weekend helps because people can then spread purchases out across more paychecks if needed.

Hoping they have a good deal on either the latest gen AppleTV or FireTV (not the stick), want one for the in-laws we bought them the FireTV Stick (they cut the cord) and it's just not powerful enough, thought about the newer one of those, just bought one for myself to see if it's enough to do what I want with it's new CPU and such.

I saw a Surface Pro 3 with an i5 Processor on Amazon for around $500 I think it was. Had Win 8.1 on it but i think you can still get the upgrade for them either free or cheap (not positive about that part any longer). Not sure what budget you have for this gift but it's an MS product and can work as a laptop replacement.

Especially if you don't mind the last model. They have an event in 2 days and rumors are it's most likely to announce a bunch of new release for Mac Hardware.

Most of them just seem to do some sort of giveaway, like the year I leased my new truck they were giving away 50" TV's to the first so many customers. Our friend who is a sales guy told me better prices are end of year when they are trying to up their finances. He said they want to move more units.

Well you also don't need to go for the Surface Pro 4, there have been good deals on the Surface Pro 3 for less than half of that. As bribri25 said though if it's only for some research and doesn't require anything decent just find something cheap and light.

I just prefer the Pro portion of them as they are using actual Desktop type CPU's for the most part. You can go with the i5 or i7 line and you're getting a full blown Win10 install. Opens the tablet up to being a laptop replacement that for the most part you should be able to run any WIndows application on (granted some won't support touch).

That's why we need BF Sales on them

If she doesn't need the full blown laptop and the DVD player then the Microsoft Surface Pro's look pretty cool. It runs a full blow OS, I understand it can do anything many laptop's can do and the Pro's look to have normal CPU's in them. I am thinking about picking one up to mess around with it.

My wife likes things that come from the kids, she can almost always tell when the kids have picked it out and when they have wrapped it (she has been a K and 1st teacher). She always loves those things, as for outside of that things that she can use in class, she also likes gift cards, she gets unusual candy and such (different ethnicity and such) which she always likes to try out. Like I said though, the more personal it is the better she seems to like it.

We have them in an outdoor mall here and Hallmark we have actual stores in like shopping centers
