Ya I was thinking about the Vacuums earlier. Seems to be a LOT of them in the ad's lately. We bought one a couple of years ago for my mom but to be honest I don't think it was BF sale it just happened that we were in the store on BF and it was something we had planned to get her. As for this ad we are likely to grab the Apple TV for my in-laws, may grab it tonight with the early access link Brad posted so I don't have to think about it. Might grab some of the Razor Scooters since we have been talking about doing that for our nieces and nephews.

It's hard to say but judging by the child sitting there I would say 36" Plus?? That's nothing more than a guess though and it doesn't seem to be on their site yet.

I have been stocking up on my Looney's and Tooney's lately lol. I'm not referring to catoons either.

They have some TV's but it looks like the olden days of KMart Ad's are much like the store itself. Dying.

12' Tree. Wow I have tree envy now. We want a huge one for our front room where we have like 25' high ceilings lol. Right now our tallest one is 9'

If we can help make a kids Christmas I'm all for it. Too many bad things in the world to worry about nowadays and I don't like not getting a toy because someone thinks they can make $650 in profit should be one of them. Yes we actually saw some people trying to sell them for in excess of $700.

My wife and I talked about snapping them up when we can find them and sell them to people who are looking for them for exactly what it cost us. Lots of people looking for them on some local FB page she is on.

Been there with some purchases from places in the past. Never fun.

Reminds me of Y2K, I'm not much of a drinker so when that rolled around I volunteered to go into work and bring all of our equipment online (Servers, Network, Phone System and so forth) and make sure it all worked as expected (even though we had done a ton of testing. I got there super early in the morning and got it all working and tested. It was so dark and quiet that I almost fell asleep lol.

If you're getting it from Apple itself on their online store then it's pretty much as good as new and usually comes with a good warranty. Now from others I'm not 100% sure as it would depend on the skills of the person doing the refurbishment.

I keep thinking they are all going to come in a huge rush. I guess they are waiting for the election to be over so people pay attention to them. Well the ones who don't move to Canada lol

Mail in rebates suck. I know I am HORRIBLE about them so more often than not I don't factor them into my purchase decision. I know this is what these stores bank on but where I can I just flat out avoid them.

Not really a lot of traditions on Christmas Eve anymore as the family has shrunk. We do tend to have dinner at our house and the menu usually varies. One tradition is lot's of different cookies, pies and the like. As far back as I can remember dinners have always been like some sort of meat (I prefer roast beast (beef)) and we always did some sort of pasta, when I was young the holiday parties were always HUGE lots of family packed into our house, that went on until I was well into my late teens when some of the family started to move away. This year we are going to have a party before Christmas and invite all our extended family and friends over since it's harder to get those people over on the actual day.

What is it you want to spend? As Bluebear said if you're wanting to game on it then dedicated graphics is a must for any of the newer FPS type of games. The APU type chips have gotten better but they still aren't near on par. Now the down side of that is that these machines usually cost more. So if you can give us some input on what you want to spend, what size screen is needed and such we can give some input on machines that would be good.

Can always go both ways and use the laptop with a Dock/Port Replicator. I have them for my home and work machines so that I can use the bigger/more monitors setup.
