NFL site has deals on lots of small things and sometimes they do free shipping promos so you can always get Giants stuff from there. I'm a Lions fan (yes I publicly admit it) and my wife bought me a nice t-shirt from them for my birthday this year. -
We usually end up with 1 of each. The artificial goes in the livingroom window as it's HUGE 9' tall and super wide, I got it from Sears one year right before Christmas like days before. It was the last one they had and at the time it was like a $700 tree I think I ended up paying like $125 or $150 for it. Awesome deal. Only problem we have now is the box got wet a couple years ago and I have nothing to put it in when broken down. Until I can find something we leave it up and put different things on it lol. Now the real tree goes in our livingroom every year.

I'm guessing here in FL it will start out kind of cool yet with like 7000% humidity (yes I know it can't get that high) and then by 10AM we will all be dying from the heat. Oh no wait thats almost every day in the winter here lol

French Toast Casserole: Ingredients 1 loaf French bread (13 to 16 ounces) 8 large eggs 2 cups half-and-half 1 cup milk (Whole is best) 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg Dash salt Praline Topping, recipe follows Directions: Slice French bread into 20 slices, 1-inch each. (Use any extra bread for garlic toast or bread crumbs). Arrange slices in a generously buttered 9 by 13-inch flat baking dish in 2 rows, overlapping the slices. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, half-and-half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and beat with a rotary beater or whisk until blended but not too bubbly. Pour mixture over the bread slices, making sure all are covered evenly with the milk-egg mixture. Spoon some of the mixture in between the slices. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. The next day, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread Praline Topping evenly over the bread and bake for 40 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden. Praline Topping: 1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter 1 cup packed light brown sugar 1 cup chopped pecans 2 tablespoons light corn syrup 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and blend well. Makes enough for Baked French Toast Casserole.

For me it's been at least 15-20 years I have been going out. Been on here quite a while also and at least a year or more before I actually signed up for an account.

I always end up with Flash Drives and Memory Cards. Don't know why I'm a sucker for them.

Ok so it's a little early for this yes I know BUT I figured I would see if we can get started a little early this year with the recipes. I will post some of the ones we use for Thanksgiving and Christmas in the next few days, one of my favorites has become the Praline French Toast Casserole, which we now make for at least one holiday every year. Look forward to seeing some of the great ones you all have posted in the past. I would think to make it a little easier even if we do link out to another place we should still post the actual recipe in this thread to make it a little simpler for people.

We picked up a few things while out of town for our nieces and nephews. Not a whole lot but it was a start.

Black Friday Safety: Swansea police chief proposes Black Friday law

Not really sure, I mean it wouldn't hurt to have more security around but I also think it's a sad display of society. I remember one year my B-I-L and I almost beat some guy down because he tried to bowl over and smash out of the way a very apparently pregnant lady. We stopped it from happening so she didn't get hurt and nicely asked him if a GPS was really worth the trip to the hospital he was about to take. I don't open my mouth often but messing with a woman in front of me is never a smart thing. -
2 Shirts Ordered.

Survey complete. Timed out on me a few times also.

Very nice TV. I've been looking at the LG 65LM6200. I want bigger and nicer than what I have right now but keep falling to the thought of my Toshiba 50" plasma works so well and has such a great picture so why replace it.

With Football Season now in swing you can get some pretty good deals. Just watch places like BestBuy, HHGregg and so forth to see what they have. 40" or so has REALLY been dropping in price.

It's been a day Got to order a couple of shirts one for me and one for the wife.

My thoughts are they will have sales but they aren't going to be doing the crazy BF something for nothing stuff. I see LOTS of stuff sitting at Walmart for days after BF the past few years that can't be great for the bottom line either. Target is usually one of our stops to pick up odds and ends but not a place we start at.

Something to be said about closed with lots of malware floating out there I'm not an apple homer by any means they are just very good straight forward and do everything asked. I actually bought my wife the B&N Nook Color 2 years ago and she still uses it daily for reading books. Thought it was a MUCH better value than the iPad at the time and backed by someone in the book business. I'm thinking about the new one they are getting ready to release for her this Christmas.
-
She uses our first gen iPad and I have to say still not a scratch on it. These things are way tough. She also plays with my wifes phone and my phone all the time (iPhones) it's crazy how good she is at using them. I'm in the tech industry and my wife is a 1st grade teacher and play games on the iPad with our daughter that teach her letters, numbers colors and shapes. She is crazy over the Disney Jr. app. I laugh she is so young and she uses the tech better than people I know my age.

Right now it's a rumor but the rumor is it will be announced this month possibly next week along with the iPhone 5. It's going to be in the screen size range of the fire. The rumors are pretty strong. Hope it helps.
-
You can also wait and see what the iPad mini is going to run. It's rumored to be somewhere in the $200-$300 price range and the app store is loaded with software thats free. Our daughter uses the iPad all the time and she is MUCH younger than your little one.

I like #2 a lot and I'm not a baseball fan but the style just rings as something I would wear all year long. I agree with the bigger sizes (3X-4X) I am a big guy (especially shoulder area) and tend to wear them a little baggy. I'm even down with the color. Now I have to hope for them to be on sale here as I normally don't win and I also want one for my wife when we go shopping.

I think we should have a T-Shirt contest on when Brad is struck by sleep deprivation

My best suggestion for you is to read all the reviews you can on whatever ones you bring your list down to. Read both the good and the bad and temper both with the knowledge that some people will spew hate just because they don't like a brand and some people will go to the opposite based on their love for a brand. I look for trends in things going wrong or right and base on that. With that said it's what I'll be doing as we want a 60"+ this year to replace the toshiba we bought on BF 6+ years ago.

Black Friday Webcast Questions - Please read and respond!
Kanyon71 replied to bigjimslade's topic in 2012
1. Friday or Saturday is good for me. 2. I would like to see some of the products that hit ad's reviewed, like TVs and such. I know some of them are sale only models but finding it's counterpoint in the normal world and giving some feedback would be helpful. 5. 1.5-2.5 should be good. 6. Yes when I can watch. -
Nah we should do it now so some of us actually have a chance of winning lol.

Ya I've bought many deals throughout the year that I see on here. I'm always lurking here just tend to post more in the holiday season.
