Last year there was nothing above a 20" on sale, we ended up waiting until around Easter when they went on sale.

I started going after my 1st child was born so it's been 19 years now.

I think it's the year of the e-book reader. Hoping to see something in the $99 range, either straight out or by GWP type thing. B&N has already had their Nook down to around $130 when you factor in a free GC, and Amazon has reduced the Kindle prices so I'm optomistic.

I love the idea of movie passes! You could also do some personalized gifts from ArtsCow. This year all my friends are getting watches. They're $10-12 each and you can personalize the face.

Ouch....$102 to rent a $111 book! Either My kid's college bookstore has great prices or this place is expensive.

An e-reader...hopefully the Nook.

Wow, where are you looking? 36" is a standard window measurement so you should be able to find them anywhere....Just google 36 x 36 curtains and you'll get a ton of pages. I know Walmart & Target has that size instore too.

I ordered 6 of them on the 13th and got them on the 26th...I was surprised how quickly they came. Usually the mail from Hong Kong takes forever...

I'm not a fan of the prints, but I LOVE the fabric (washable!) and they are the one handbag that always has enough pockets inside for me.

I've had good luck on craigslist & ebay.

All OOS for delivery and none at my local stores.

My Target still had tons of stuff (7 aisles!)all with 50% off signs but most of what I picked up wasn't ringing @ 50% and the manager wouldn't adjust. He told the cashiers that what it was ringing up @ was the price. So I walked out with nothing.

Dollar General stores have dress pants for $10. They have black, navy & khaki colors in a ton of sizes.

I probably spent too much but my kids don't get gifts from anyone else. My Mother might buy them some clothes or a small toy but my in-laws do nothing so I tend to make it up by going overboard.

I must be the only one whe has problems with Amazon My Harry Potter DVD shipped on Monday and it's not here yet! It really shouldn't take a week to get a package from KY to Ohio....it's one freaking state away! The tracking is no help either, it looks like this: December 7, 2009 04:11:48 PM Campbellsville KY US Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit December 10, 2009 07:29:00 AM -- -- -- Arrival scan December 10, 2009 07:00:00 PM -- -- -- Arrival Scan The location is blank so I don't even know WHERE it is now! The estimated date of delivery was today but it wasn't in the mail.
