We used to do around 50 but the last few years I've scaled it back to 20-25.

I keep getting an error -
Anyone else started to panic because they are not done shopping?
speeddiva replied to AudreyNicole's topic in 2010
I'm doing good this year. Between all of DH's OT & the Christmas fund I started last year, The kids' presents are 90% bought and that's all I really care about. My kids are all teens now, so I told them this year they can ask for 1 'big' gift and don't expect to get everything they ask for anymore. Thanks to Amazon's awesome prices, I've managed to get everything so far and I still have almost half of my budget left so I'm thinking of splurging on the DSLR I've always wanted -
I'm assuming this doesn't work on things like the iPod w/gift card? I'm going to do this with the DVDs I need though...thanks for the input :)
-
Disappointing for me. No new/hot toys, not much iPod (unless you want a Touch), haven't seen any of the video games on my list. And so far only 2 ads have had DSLRs. Unless something that is a great deal comes out, it looks like I'll be doing all my shopping at Amazon.

speeddiva replied to speeddiva's topic in Online Hot Deals
Our "big city" library, which happens to be in another state, does this but last time I checked (maybe 10 years ago?) it was $55. -
I love my Zune too...I think it sounds way better than iPod. I'm dying for my Nook, It was supposedly shipped last Saturday and isn't here yet I think they sent it Pony Express.
-
I'm not seeing it either...all that comes up for me is this week's ads.

What is best price comparison site (mostly for toys)?
speeddiva replied to 3superkids's topic in 2010
If you have an iPhone (not sure if theres a droid equivalent) there is an app called ShopSavvy where you can scan the barcode & it will give you local store prices & online prices. It's pretty cool. -
Saw a few things I will go pick up....small things like DVDs. Overall, it didn't impress me a whole lot but then, I'm not in the market for big electronics or toys.

It was Buy It Now but I think they're up to $119 now.
