Pecan Pie Muffins 1 c. packed light brown sugar 1/2 c. all purpose flour 1 c. chopped pecans 2/3 c. butter, softened 2 eggs, beaten 1. preheat oven to 350°. Grease & flour 18 cup mini-muffin tin or use paper liners. 2. In a medium bowl, stir brown sugar, flour & pecans. In separate bowl, beat together butter & eggs until smooth. Stir into dry ingredients, just until combined. Spoon batter into prepared cups, about 2/3 full. 3. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. cool on wire racks.

You should be able to pick up a circular in the store.

I really miss Walmart layaway. I used to do 90% of my shopping for the holidays there...now I doubt I do 10%. Eh, their loss I guess.

Mine make their lists in September and the rule is it cannot be changed after the 1st week of December....because I'm usually done shopping by then LOL

For me it was Menards when they 1st opened here. They let everyone in at once then had no carts for merchandise, none of the staff knew where anything was and the checkout lines were so unorganized it took 4 hours to checkout. Never again!

It's the "official" start to Christmas, oh & the deals

Our WM will only PM stores within a 20 mile radius....which sucks because they have NO competiton within those boundaries.

Last year there was nothing above a 20" on sale, we ended up waiting until around Easter when they went on sale.

I started going after my 1st child was born so it's been 19 years now.

I think it's the year of the e-book reader. Hoping to see something in the $99 range, either straight out or by GWP type thing. B&N has already had their Nook down to around $130 when you factor in a free GC, and Amazon has reduced the Kindle prices so I'm optomistic.

I love the idea of movie passes! You could also do some personalized gifts from ArtsCow. This year all my friends are getting watches. They're $10-12 each and you can personalize the face.

Ouch....$102 to rent a $111 book! Either My kid's college bookstore has great prices or this place is expensive.

An e-reader...hopefully the Nook.
