Hey thanks, I didn't think about that website having GHWT. Best Buy has it in stock right now, but then I have to pay tax and shipping...and since it's a gift for myself I guess I'll wait.

I find that a Riesling is a good wine to serve that many people seem to like. Avg. price is about $10. It kind of depends on what type they like, unless they will drink just about anything. Now take my uncle, he is a complete wine snob, and only drinks the expensive stuff. I think my $10 bottles taste much better than most of his $30+ bottles. I would definately take the suggestion of a PP to talk with someone at a local wine store or any store that has a large wine section.

They've apparently really cracked down on the resellers and no one is getting more than 3 ordered. That may be contributing to why it's been available for so long. It's definately been up for a while. Now if they only would get the GHWT band kit in stock that would be great

Wiis have been in stock on Amazon.com for about 3 weeks now. I think that is partly due to Amazon cracking down on the resellers and making more safeguards for the limit of 3 Wiis. Also demand in general has probably decreased since they have been out for a while and many people already have the Wii.

On one side of my family we draw names for the adults and the gift is $30. Everyone under 18 gets a gift from everyone, but right now there isn't anyone under 18. On the other side we've ended up with a buy crap from the $1 store or whatever cheap thing you have at home, wrap it, throw it in a pile, and go in age order to draw gifts. Then you can "steal" the "gift" if you want or draw another gift. This annoys me, but I have found it a good way to get rid of unused junk sitting around my house. We do this because one family said they couldn't afford the $10 gift exchange, but now they go blow about $30-$50 each year at the dollar store

Seems they are hard to come by. There was a few coupons on ebay last week when I was looking, $25 off $250. If you pay with a debit card you get a 3% coupon of your total to use on your next purchase.

Well I just ordered my coupons. It said they will ship on 11/07/08 via standard mail. So you may want to get your request in if you need to just in case they do go on sale for BF. I don't have cable or satelitte so it would be really nice to get these boxes for free...

Geez, I've never had a BF like some of you have written - never been pushed down, hit, ran over by cars, etc. The worst one I can think of was taking a friend of mine that had never been out on BF before. My cousin and I had a plan of hitting the outlet mall, leave at a certain time (that everyone had agreed on!), and heading to the regular stores BB, Sears, Meijer, etc. Well at the time to leave the outlet mall my friend decided she wanted to do more shopping and that I shouldn't be mad about it because she hadn't gotten to go to the store she wanted to yet. Now mind you neither her nor me had driven, someone else had, and no one else had a problem going to a store they wanted to go to on their own if no one else wanted to go. But she assumed I wanted to go to the store she wanted to and made everyone late. Everyone was waiting around for us and I felt horrible and she was just so oblivious to it all! She will definately not be going with me again! Nor will I go with anyone that has not been before or can't pass a pre-BF quiz, lol! I'm thinking questions like how fast can you run, how early is early for BF, can you venture out on your own, can you collaborate with others, how much can you carry if no cart is available, do you run to breakfast or get the next deal, etc.

I have to take vacation time. Luckily my boss thinks I'm crazy for going out and works that day so someone in the dept. is here. But then I don't mind working the week of Christmas and he usually takes that week off.

Walmart apparently doesn't have a good ad yet again. Gee what a surprise Meijer's has been getting my business for the past couple years over Walmart - so lets hope Meijer's ad is as good as it has been in the past. Also Target is awesome, but well there's really no point in going there on BF to get the deals, so they aren't in my mad dash.

usually I'm out about 12 hours. Last year it was leave the house around 4 and back around 4. The year before we did the outlet and left about 9pm and back about noon.

lol - glad I'm not the only one with that problem. I budget about $400 and well sometimes it's under, sometimes over. If I see a good deal I'm buying it!

store employees &/or security watching the line and handing out tickets. Also figuring out a way so that tickets could not be bought/sold/traded/etc would be a great help so that the people that have been waiting forever get what they want. Also donuts and coffee/hot chocolate/cider in line is awesome! One store did both things a few years back and it was a great experience :)

I'm not picking up anything for anybody that can't be bothered to go out and wait in line. Especially not if they make fun of me. Now the only exception would be if one of my grandmas asked for somthing - which they never have before - but I would do that. When I'm on my cell phone on BF it's usually to find my cousin and see where the heck she is. Or if we have temporarily split up to hit different stores we may grab something for one another, not big items, but hey if you happen to see it can you grab it type of items.
