  1. This is SO tempting! I've really been wanting one, but I know I wouldn't use it enough to justify the purchase, sigh. @nebraskaparkfan - I'm pretty sure they did a Cyber Monday last year, but I'm not sure about the BF sales.
  2. Walmart has been clearancing out the regular cartridges and will only carry the "lite" cartridges from now on. You may get lucky if your Walmart hasn't sold out completely of the regular cartridges. When I price matched before they didn't look at the titles of the cartridges, just that they were Cricut cartridges. The one on the front is Tie the Knot. At Menard's last sale I recall them definitely having Sports Mania & Alphalicious. I think they also had Simply Sweet and Calligraphy, but I don't recall as I only bought the first two I listed.
  3. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed with their ad. I've been there Thanksgiving evening for the past 2 years, but I don't think I will bother this year. The Cricut cart prices are much too high. JoAnns, Big Lots, Menard's, and Walmart all have lower prices on carts. As the PP said, cricutmachine.com is a great place to get good deals too and I buy many from ebay.
  4. It's been discussed over on the Cricut forums and some blogs and the ones pictured in the ad are new carts. We are hoping they are announced tomorrow for Cricut's "Hello Thursday." I would hope that all the lite carts would be on sale though and not just the ones pictured.
  5. Anyone think the RCA 19" will be an overly popular item? I need a smaller tv and think I might go for this one.
  6. Best Buy! That store has been insane the last few years, I'd rather go to Walmart or anywhere else but there!
  7. I bought my Sirius radio about 3-4 years ago on BF at Radio Shack. I've seen Best Buy advertise too as previously mentioned. It is awesome to take on car trips, so a trucker would definitely love one.
  8. Target last year. I didn't need any doorbuster type items so I didn't camp out or anything. I was there to buy a Target exclusive toy that my niece wanted. I looked all over and finally asked an associate. THEY NEVER GOT THEM IN!!! No apologies, no rainchecks, no idea when they might show up, total waste of time. I also looked for another non-doorbuster item and they were gone as they only had 6. I went to WM and got tons of stuff with no problem, they had so much inventory it was great! Some small stuff I didn't expect to still be available was and I bought way too much!
  9. www.half.com and amazon were where I bought and sold most of mine. Also if I was having a hard time finding a certain book I would just google the ISBN# or the title of the book.
  10. cute pics - I love the Rudolph cookies!
  11. Menards - I just got some yesterday as a present from there. I sure hope they work! I am sick of falling on my butt
  12. I thought the arrival before Christmas applied to all shipping. I chose the Priority mail once since I figure USPS will get it to me faster than UPS or FedEx. I see they moved the stuff to another site, so don't know if you can still do this. But under agendas you can find a plastic agenda refill thing for $2 to put you over $100 for the free shipping. I did this earlier this morning and it worked perfectly then.
  13. Michael's, JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby - any type of craft store that also sells frames should have them :)

    Cricut Expression

I have the Cricut Create and love it. I bought a ton of cartridges last week. You should check out www.cricut.com. They have a lot of different stuff over there including a message board where you can read about a lot of the stuff and people post projects they have done too.
  15. well i took too long to think about it, they're all gone. thanks anyways :)
  16. thanks - just got spongebob as they didn't have it in-store on Sat.
  17. I haven't used walmart.com, but I did use www.squaretrade.com to buy an extended warranty recently. Thankfully I haven't had to use the warranty yet, but they seem to have really good reviews all over the web. Also they usually have good coupon codes out to make their prices even better. Here's some coupon codes: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/squaretrade.com
  18. bump - last day to get the $100 cricut.com rebate with Gypsy purchase.
  19. CricutMachine.com has them for $199.95 - http://www.cricutmachine.com/product_info.php?products_id=379 You get free shipping if you go over $200. I've bought from them twice - one order should be here Tuesday and the order before that I got quickly with no problems. There is also a $100 cricut.com rebate if you buy the gypsy by Nov. 30th & register it by Dec. 31st. More info on the rebate: http://www.cricut.com/gypsy/promo/details/ http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/tm.aspx?m=5729208 I keep going back and forth about whether I want one, but I bought way too many cartridges this week to get a Gypsy too, lol! ETA: If you want an extended warranty I would check out Squaretrade.com. I just did a quick quote and it came up $27.99 for 3 years and if you google you should find some coupon codes for 20-30% off. Cheaper than the HSN warranty mentioned above.
  20. Target was an absolute disaster We went there first mainly for an external hard drive and the littlest pet shop tin. They had only had 5 hard drives and never got the LPS tin in!!! Oh, but I was told the LPS might be on the truck tomorrow so to check back So I was so disgusted we left empty handed. I didn't see a single person with a 32" tv...not sure they even got those in either. So Target will get an oh so nice email from me about this experience and complaining about closing down the nice, big Target and only having rinky-dink sized one now. Got to Walmart around 5:30 & got everything I wanted! and I thought they would be the ones out of stuff. They still had some of the tvs even left! Was tempted, but didn't buy one. Got the hard drive there (they had at least 50 still left), a Cricut cart, photo collage frame, & dvds. Then hit Meijer they still had a ton of stuff left there too. picked up another hard drive (going to compare to see which one is better), frames, Adidas hoodie, dvds Then enjoyed some IHOP Finished at JCPenney's with a few clothing items. Oh and we stopped at Mernard's too - nice store. picked up some odds-n-ends.
  21. wow - if you're any kind of subscriber (daily, weekend, sunday only, etc) then you get a free paper on Thanksgiving in my area. I'm not sure what the price would be if you went to the store though, but I haven't heard of any price increases.
  22. I think it depends what you want to use it for. Personally I have the Create which is the smaller size, but has features like the Expressions (fit to page, flip, potrait, etc). I am more of an on-the-go scrapper and always going to crops, so I don't want to lug around the large one with all my other stuff. I also don't really need to cut really big stuff. The Create will be $100 at Big Lots. If your machine will stay stationary or you need to cut bigger items then you will probably want the Expression. I would say I wouldn't buy the original baby bug because it lacks the extra features.
