  1. PLEASE......do NOT use H&R Block---either software or B&M offices. Take this advice from someone who has worked at the IRS and saw the multitiude of mistakes that came in on their returns. Some of them were not even added up correctly but had to be input anyway because we could not alter any info on a tax return. And they are stupidly expensive--more so than other tax preparerers.
  2. My husband bought one because he has horrible neck problems while sleeping. He tried it for 3 nights but still wasn't comfortable on it. I don't have neck trouble and am able to sleep on it just fine. Soooo, wish I could help you out here more. I think he bought the pillow at CVS or Walgreens. Not sure on that. I just know I took over the pillow and find it very comfortable and it keeps my neck from aching in the morning.
  3. If you have a Big Lots near you, they carry one for $10 that works terrific. I got one and it plugs into the USB.
  4. Does anyone know a B&M store where I could buy ice cleats that go over your shoes so you don't slip on icy walkways?
  5. You might want to take your cushions to the laundromat. They have HUGE washers that will accomodate those cushions. Be sure to add Pine Sol in addition to your soap and it will remove the urine smell.
  6. I always smoke a huge turkey and a brisket (weird husband hates turkey). I'm still trying to figure out how it became tradition to have Thanksgiving at MY house each year? Love it all tho!
  7. We built a new home last year. It's 1650 sq ft and we have an all electric house with an above=ground heat pump. Keeping our house at 72 (middle of Missouri), our electric bill has never been over $ll5. Our other house had an in-ground heat pump, but that would have cost us about $18,000 now. The above-ground unit with a dual thermostat ran $6,000.
  8. You might want to call around to some Printing businesses. They normally order a ton of card stock at the bigger companies so they get it at a tremendous wholesale price. Worth a shot maybe.
  9. I don't know if you have Cricket in your area, but they just have a single plan--$45/month for unlimited minutes and unlimited texting. My son and daughter both have Cricket plans and love it. I, myself, have T-Mobile, and am mostly happy with them. DO NOT get Sprint. I live near KC, Mo where the Sprint Headquarters campus is. Sprint has the worst service in the KC and surrounding areas. And when you call for customer service, you stand a great chance of speaking with someone in India. Very difficult to understand. Just my experience and two cents talking.
