  1. Lego succulents. Good for people that like to build Lego and kill plants. Like me. https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Succulents-Building-Adults-Display/dp/B09Q4GWMZQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1GCIQV26TE606&keywords=lego+succulent&qid=1665178113&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjk0IiwicXNhIjoiMi42NCIsInFzcCI6IjEuNjkifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=lego+su%2Caps%2C122&sr=8-3
  2. I never really have a budget, I just get what people want or what I like. I do like to shop and gift. My kids are grown, and buy things themselves, so gifting to them is a little more challenging now. Every year we say we won't get much, maybe this will be the year. We'll see. The kids without a family usually get a big thing $400-600 (computer, VR, console), where my daughter doesn't usually ask for much, and the grandkids I get to have fun shopping for.
  3. You are stronger than I am! I have the sets of 2 of the star wars series, and the hello kitty from last year. And the star wars gingerbread I had to have. I have more pyrex than we ever use. But it's nice to have, and I love it. It is nice for Christmas cookies and homemade candy too.
  4. Lego sets. I got a couple for my birthday last month, but there are still a few I'd like. (And a place to put them) Lego also has some wooden shelves and drawers. Hello Kitty Pyrex. No I haven't opened the ones from last year. But that's not relevant because this year they have purple ones, and a Christmas design with candy canes! Rocks. I like the "mining bags" of dirt. My favorite place also sells home decor things and such. Jewelry set. There's a site I like that sells jewelry made with wood and/ or stone. (Walnut, marble, etc)
  5. I try to resist the Kohl's throws, but I usually fail. I've already bout my first one of the season last week. Batteries are always on the list. And then from Kohl's women's long sleeve everyday tees, towels, and whatever bedding is needed (mattress covers, memory foam pads, sheets).
  6. Thanks Brad! I received my package in the mail today. Love it!
  7. Yay October. We got the pool closed today. It was definitely time since 10 hundred leaves are already falling.
  8. Making my list now Sales starting in October Wonder what I'll buy
  9. I'm so sorry about your kitty, I hope everything gets all sorted out. Poor kitty, and poor mama! How exciting to be looking for a house! Congrats! I'm so excited for you.
  10. Yay September. August wore me out. School started, which is always crazy for me at work. Plus moved my youngest twice (home from school, then 2 weeks later into his own place), another 1 1/2 hour trip to cut his yard, and grandson's 1st birthday. Looking forward to this long weekend, with no plans!!
  11. The only thing being asked for so far is an Oculus Quest. And since they just raised the prices on them, I'm not confident they will have any sales.
  12. August. School starts Wednesday. Saturday we are moving youngest into his new apartment, after moving all his stuff home from school housing this weekend. And my grandson turns 1 at the end of the month. I think that's enough adventure here for me!
  13. I didn't order anything either. I checked for things on my list to go on sale, but nothing was. Nothing else much grabbed me. My husband though did check my list and ordered things for me, whether they were on sale or not! Prime days sales in general are pretty overwhelming for me, it's hard for me to sort through them. But, I'm always needing stuff, so I'll be ordering something soon I'm sure!
  14. Our school district was closed last week for the holiday, so I had the week off, which was new. It was nice, but I am ready to get back to work. July is my busiest time right before the school year starts, and I'm a little stressed I have lost a week. But it will be fine. New teachers start next Wednesday, so I have 6 business days to get everything ready. And then it takes off from there! Here we go! Hope everyone has a great rest of their summer!
  15. Happy summer! Tomorrow we are expected to reach the warmest so far this year, 100 degrees. Right on time. Now, I just wish we'd get some rain!! We are baking down here!
  16. Oh wow, that is bizarre! It looks like I am signed in, but that's good to know as something else to try for OOS items. I'm glad you were able to get it! My grandson is only 9 months old, and I don't really want to store that for a year, so I guess I'm passing on this one for now.
  17. Interesting, I wonder if it's location specific? I know Target does that. It shows available for me. There is also a Minnie Mouse and Paw Patrol version. Maybe one of those will show available for you. Good luck!
  18. Happy June! The weather for sure is reflecting the calendar here. School ended Friday here, but we've been planning for next year for 2 months, and have switched dull into that now. 7 weeks until new teachers start arriving. We are issuing new computers to all staff and students this year (about 50,000 total) so that is one of my big summer projects. I am changing roles for next school year, but my replacement won't be taking over fully until after school starts, so this collection/deployment is still on me. Will be glad to have that off me going forward though!
  19. Oh how fun! Lucky you!! I saw him very lots of many years ago when he was still new. And when I was young and didn't mind being in crowds and driving to Atlanta! It was a great show, and I'm sure he's gotten even better.
  20. We considered that, but we really don't have enough a great place to have it dumped here. We got 60 more bags today, so I guess tomorrow we'll start spreading it. No snow here, but it was really cold overnight, and will be again tonight. We've had to protect the plants that are already blooming from the frost. Fun times.
  21. I have some pressure washing to do to our new house too. I had hoped to do it this week while on spring break, but my grandson was visiting , and we had a few days of bad weather.
  22. So the saddest part? That was only one area that needs mulch! Luckily their big sale started yesterday, so this weekend we'll go get another 60 bags. Ugh. But this is the weekend to get your mulch, it's $2.50 a bag at Home Depot, or $2.25 for 30 or more.
