Oh my goodness, I was finally able to get an Xbox Series X. So as soon as the Halo Xbox arrives this week, and I pick this one up (40 miles away, yuck!), I'll have a (different) console each for my husband and 2 boys. Yay, it's so nice to have all those checked off and taken care of. That has been way more harder than it should be. (And let's not even talk about how I've moved since the halo pre-order, and Walmart wouldn't let me change the address, and that they put restrictions on FedEx where you can't even have them change the delivery... So I guess I'll have to go to FedEx and pick that up as well.)

My family and my sisters family all go to my mom's. She usually invites my dad too. Mama usually fixes everything, and I'll bring homemade Cranberry sauce and maybe something else or a desert. Yes, the 15% coupon will be in your wallet. It should automatically apy, but if not you'll just choose Apply Offers and choose it (you could probably go and practice with the current available coupon now). Kohls is on CT. So it's 1am EST. I usually make a shopping list on the Kohls site, then add to cart from that list. It seems like pre-adding things to the cart hasn't worked well in the past. But I can't remember for sure. Maybe it does better now. With that said, the last couple of years the Shopping Lists have been taken down right before the sale starts. For extra insurance I have the list open before the sale starts, but I also go ahead and open the items I want in separate tabs. Yippee!! I got that ladder years ago. Went by myself to get it and brought it home to hide it. That was great fun. It is a great ladder, we use it a lot. I'm glad you were able to get it. I was able to get the Gorilla work platform, I didn't get it last year like I wanted. But it is being shipped as well, yay!

Batteries seem to be in store, as I expected. Weird though they aren't showing in the stick tracker to see how many were in the store. Maybe I'll venture out in a bit. The LED hanging string lights aren't showing the right price yet. The candy cane stakes aren't available to ship, and my store has only 1. So I guess none of those for me again this year. (that's okay... I've literally put those on my list for every bit of 10 years and never gotten them!)

Last year Walmart did a few rounds of available stock of the consoles. I'm hoping they will do that again to spread things out a little. I was able to get a PS5 a few weeks ago by signing up for a stock-alert service, but so far I've not been able to get an Xbox yet. You might also want to watch the website each day, as lately they've been putting up Xbox consoles at 3pm EST, so maybe they are doing something similar with PS5s too. (They did that 2 or 3 times while we were on vacation, where we couldn't really commit attention to it. ) Good luck!

I like to buy the batteries from Home Depot instead of Lowes, because we don't use as many AAA as AA, and HD usually sells them separate, while I think that Lowe's has a combo pack. But I'm sure that's useful for a lot of people too, but we just seem to always have extra AAA.

So I'm pretty boring. When I want a meatless meal, I just cook a big pot of beans, make some homemade bread, and then maybe make some greens or some other veggie. You could definitely cook them in the instant pot, I have done that. But some of the smaller beans cook on the stove in a couple hours. But for weeknights you'll probably want the faster instant pot. I love the Rancho Gordo heirloom beans. My favorites are Good Mother Stallard, Rio Zape, and Cranberry. They are fresher than grocery store bought and cook faster.
