I got home from my trip yesterday and my gift was waiting for me. Thank you Brad! That's awesome.

Oh goodness. I've bought so much. I guess I finally got in the mood. I've got my daughter and 3yo grandson pretty much done. I bought 1 thing for my 9yo grandson, and 3 or 4 things for the 6 month old granddaughter. My niece's birthday is next week, so that is done now too. And, I did manage to get a couple things for myself as well.

I actually bought a few things from Walmart! I added them to my list a couple days ago. And then actually didn't change my mind!

Happy October! I'm 4 states away from home. Can't wait to get home next week and see the prize! I'm pretty sure it was delivered yesterday. Tonight we're headed to a fancy party, and tomorrow is the even fancier wedding. I'm way out of my element!

Happy fall! It was 93 degrees here today! We had our false fall a couple weeks ago. Maybe in a few more weeks it will get cool again.

Thanks! I need some dressy shoes for an upcoming wedding. Can't beat $6 shoes, especially when you have to buy two dresses as well!

Happy Labor Day! We're slated to get close to 90 today, the rest of the weekend we were low to mid-90s, lows in the 70s.. This week will be cooler, with one day not making it out of the 70s! Brrr.

Yay August. The hottest month of the year. School started for our district today.

Happy July! I'm off this week, but next week is the last week to finish up summer projects. New teachers come in 2 1/2 weeks, all teachers in 3 1/2 weeks, and students return in 1 month on August 1st!

Oh no I am so sorry! I also spent several days in the hospital during spring break. So I can relate and sympathize. I hope you are recovering!

Happy June. I am happy to report that after almost 4 solid months of being sick, including a 4 day hospital stay, that I am finally feeling normal from. The last couple of weeks were really good weeks. My last check up about 3 weeks ago showed that the pneumonia was still in both lungs. But I'm confident that the next check in about 6 weeks will be a good report. Yesterday was mulch day. We got 60 bags on sale at Home Depot last weekend. We got 35 bags out yesterday. Not sure if the remaining 25 bags will be enough, but we'll deal with what happens. I may have done too much yesterday though, I didn't have a great day today. But I'm just so glad I was even able to do something.

Yay it's May. Son's birthday, Mother's Day, and my Anniversary. We are winding up the school year, only 3 more weeks for the kids. And this week I am finally showing some improvement after being sick for 3 months. Yay.

My granddaughter was born this morning! 11 pounds 3 oz!! And that's 1 week early. Her and my daughter are doing well. Now I need to get well so I can go visit her!

So, I spent my spring break in the hospital. Zero stars, would not recommend. So no visit with my grandson. But I am home today after 5 days, and I am feeling better finally. Yay. And hopefully next weekend I can travel the 3 hours to see my new grandbaby arriving in 3 days!

Happy April. We are on spring break this week, and my grandson is in town staying with my mom. Sadly I am now at over 2 months being sick, so probably no activities for me. At least I'm not having to miss work and can get some rest.

Congrats! Mine is scheduled for the 9th, but was also due on the 16th. Grandma Twinsies!

Sounds like a fun month! Congrats on the grand baby. Mine arrives in 5 weeks! February was a bit of a rough month, I've been sick since the last week in January. It got really bad about the 10th, and I just can't seem to get better. It'll ease off for a day or 2, then come back. We think we may have figured out the cause being an allergic reaction to my dad's dogs that have been staying here during the bad cold weather. They are leaving tomorrow, so fingers crossed I can start getting better! Here's to a happy March!

Well February hasn't had a very happy start. Lots of bad and sad news today. But today is my grandson's birthday, and me and mama are driving (3 hours each way) to see him for his party tomorrow. So there's a happy.
