  1. No soda stream marked down for us yet. Maybe soon. I have another store to check this weekend too.
  2. Oh yay, thanks for this! Sure could use these!
  3. It does not work with Safari. I read that, then tried it anyway, and yep, it didn't work! But the form went through fine using Firefox. Thanks!
  4. I soooo don't need to buy any more candy! But those prices are hard to resist. I guess if they make it in time, I can return what I already bought to Target... If not, I'll just eat all the Reese's myself.
  5. If you want a new instead of refurb, they are on sale at Best Buy this week for $187.99 for 8gb. I just got one from Woot for my son's birthday. Breaks my heart as we are not an iPod family. We all have had Zunes for years and years (we've had at least 1 of each gen), and we all have Windows Phones. However, we also have an iPad, and when his Kindle stopped working a few weeks ago, we let him take the iPad to school because his book they were studying for English was on there. He got attached to it, and started asking for an iPad for his birthday. Turns out he really was just interested in the games. He was playing with his friends and their iPods, plus after tests they are allowed to play on iPods, but not phones, which is where all his music and games were. So this will be basically just for game playing, so I'm thrilled to find a deal on it.
  6. Thanks for the heads-up! I'll look out for it.
  7. I went to my not-normal-store today, and they had taken all the Bodega stuff down, and scattered it on the end caps in the appropriate sections. Everything I saw though was still at 15%. Also, the heaters still had 30% off signs. A few were still 30% (according to sticker, I didn't scan), most were 50%, and the 2 packs (which is what I was after anyhow) were 70%. I also saw the dog toys on dinner platters at 50%. They had fruit plates and fish dinner. Also was excited to find the Kraft Mac and Cheese 3 packs (Cars, Spongebob, and Phineas and Ferb) for 50%, $1.48. My 12yo has just started eating a box in 1 sitting...
  8. I was in this same boat before Christmas. I was just about to buy the Dell mentioned above, they had some coupon codes and some other promo going on which would have brought it to just under $700, that was a good deal. I decided to look at Best Buy one more time, and they had a couple models they were clearancing out, and I happened to find one of those also in their open box case that had been the floor model. Pair that with the open-box promo they were running and I ended up with a half-price laptop. Anyhow, if you can be a little patient, you might could find a clearance and/or open box deal like that. I'm not sure when laptop "seasons" are and when they switch them out for new ones, but someone at the store might have some ideas.
  9. Actually depends on the baby. I had a 8 pound, but skinny baby. He wore newborn diapers for over 2 months, and was still wearing some preemie clothes at 3 months. But, yes, normally, they outgrow everything very fast! And stocking up on bigger sizes is never a waste.
  10. Thank you!! I was in desperate need of glue!! I sent my husband through the line with the coupon, and I went through with my phone! Sent from my Radar 4G using Board Express
  11. Second on the Thrive. Got my DS15 one for Christmas, and he loves it. Has camera, gps, and also full size SD slots, HDMI, and USB. We bought him a case with a keyboard in it, and he can take it to school to take notes, and it's like having a netbook, then he uses it like a tablet at home. He puts his comic books on it, and his Kindle books as well. He has the smaller one (8GB), and is doing fine on space so far. My husband has offered him a couple times to switch it with his iPad. He didn't go for that...
  12. Mostly stocking. For a short while I was actually a straightener, they would assign me an area and I would do nothing all night but straighten, and there were others that unloaded trucks, others that stocked. Sometimes areas are rearranged and new displays set up. Sometimes we came in at 10 or 11, sometimes not until 1 or 2 am. The clearance people would come in very early, about 4 or 5 I think. There was also a cleaning crew that worked all night, but that was a separate company, not employed by Target.
  13. Well... You bought 2, one for now, one for the trip!
  14. Those cinnamon sugar almonds are YUMMY! I have been eating them for breakfast all week!
  15. Got two tape dispensers (someone had already got the 1 pack of tape I found last night), 3 boxes of boxers, and a set of men's slippers. Also caved and got a little bitty desktop tree for $.50, and a little cannister of chocolate covered pretzels. Yum! Met another nice lady, and shared the tape dispensers with her, she also got 2. I love helping others find deals!
  16. Well, I couldn't stand the suspense, so had my husband take me up there tonight. Still 70%, like I suspected it would be, as this store went 70% on Saturday. I didn't feel like going to the other store that went 70% on Friday, they were probably 90% today. I'll check tomorrow. I found 1 pack of tape, 1 bag of Legos, and some flannel boxers. But I didn't buy any of them. I'll get them tomorrow if they are around.
  17. There are several on eBay, some for as low as $35. Look in the Dolls and Bears|Dollhouse Miniatures|Houses category. With that said, I actually build and decorate dollhouses, and I love the idea amood06 has, it's great fun to build you own. Kids do love to pick out their own things, and it's neat to see what kinds of things they come up with to make their own furniture and/or accessories. (Makes a great math lesson too, figuring out scale. Barbie size is also referred to Playscale, which is 1/6.)
  18. In the past, it would usually stay at 50% for 4-5 days, then be at 70% (75% in the past) for 4-5 days before going to 90%. So 90% usually ended up on Jan 4 or 5. Christmas clearance seems to drag out longer than other holidays. A few posts back someone posted the dates they kept from several years past and that was the pattern. Of course, every time I think I have it figured out, it changes, so who knows what it will be like this year. I know there sure isn't much stuff at either of my stores already.

  20. That looks like how my store was. I didn't scan everything, and when I looked at my receipt some was 75% and some was 50%. Massagers were 75% (there were no gift sets left) and Saran Wrap was 75%. The other couple things I got were 50%, and the dog toys were still full price. Everything was pretty cleared out though.
  21. My other store went 70% today. I was the only person in there for at least 15 minutes. Not a lot left, but I did find a few things scattered in the mess. Also got lots of toothpaste and SoftSoap, those were still in their "spot" in the grocery area. They also had tons of the Archer Farms snacks, chocolate covered pretzels and nut things in the plastic canisters, the ones with the silver label. Those were still in the corner where all the baking stuff was. Lots of cake mixes too.
  22. One of my stores was 70%, the other was still 50%. Mostly just gift wrap and bags and such, but still a little here and there. Don't forget to check the flannel sheets, got a full size set for $7.49 tonight.
  23. We have an iPad, and got my son a Toshiba Thrive for Christmas. He had been using our iPad, and I think was a little disappointed at first he didn't get one. But now he loves it. My husband has told him more than once that he'll trade him the iPad for the Thrive, he's very impressed with it too. Of course, there are features that are on the iPad2 that aren't on the original.
  24. Push it harder. You will hear the buzz. I do three pushes, 2 for the small bottles. Keep extra bottles in the fridge filled with water. You will want the water cold before you make the soda.
