Mom and dad give gifts, stuff like coats, shoes, cool hoodies (Santa does not bring clothes). Those are wrapped and under the tree. We always get them something neat too. Husband's rule is that they had to have at least one toy (game, electronic) to open on Christmas Eve to hold them over to Christmas. Santa brings (brought) toys and big cool things. And things hard to wrap. Santa does not wrap, he's way too busy to do that. Kids are 15, 18, and 23 (she's not coming home for Christmas this year, boo), but Santa still puts their big gift under the tree. The kids always liked coming out and seeing all their gifts all at once, and it was fun to see them discover each new thing.

Assassins Creed Unity for Xbox One
bluebear replied to racerfan's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
It is included this week in Target's deal, buy 2 games listed, get $50 GC. Included games are Assassin's Creed Unity, FarCry 4, Watchdogs, The Crew, Assassin's Creed Rogue, and Rocksmith. -
Yeah, I've had that mess me up before. Thanks for the reminder, though, I had forgotten, and was planning a purchase with my $100KC. I need to rethink it now... I can get it cheaper elsewhere, and use the KC for something else.

I only need the game as well. Been looking since it came out, since my son told me before it was out he wanted it. We still have a few weeks... -

No, but I'm looking too! Hope we find something. -
Yeah, I was pretty sad that Gamestop didn't have them on sale this year. I got one last week on an eBay daily deal I think, for $39. Watch the daily deal emails from Brad, that's where I saw the deal at. Good luck;

Oh, they are...!!! Wish they weren't so much work, but they are so yummy. I also make Oreo/cream cheese balls covered in chocolate, but they are very rich! -

Cute!! Thank you! This will be nice to send home buckeyes and fudge in with my family on Christmas. -
The snowman tree is great! Mama has a white tree, I sent her the picture, maybe for next year... My tree is gingerbread and candy. And that theme carries over to the rest of the house, with some trains interspersed. Mama's tree is white, with blue snowmen. Again, her whole house decor is blue and white snowmen. My son went to his friend's house yesterday. Nosy me asked if their tree was up yet. Yes, 3 of them. One is a motion activated bird theme, that tweets when you walk by. Apparently they have it in the kitchen, that you walk through to get to other parts of the house...

I'm glad you said that about the Eureka, because I bought my daughter one last year and hers has broken too. I thought she just wasn't taking care of it. Bless her heart, though, she did take it apart and try to fix it. I have the Dirt devil like what Target had in their ad. I've had mine for about 5 years, and it's now wearing out. I bought both of us one yesterday. Maybe you can still find one, my store had about 15 left yesterday at 6 am.

I was wondering too if you got the tree. I got mine, it's beautiful, but big! Definitely the best and biggest tree I've ever had. My store had quite a few, but there were a lot of people there for them. Hope you got the tree!

Got mama and my sister. They are slow. But that's okay, nice to have them around. I did all my shopping online already, so I'm good.

My daughter wrote me about 11 last night, telling me the good deals she was finding at Kohls. After a few minutes she wrote, omg mom, I'm gonna be up all night! She just moved into her first house, so she needs lots of stuff. When I went to bed at 2:30, she was still shopping... Now here's hoping she didn't buy anything I bought for her already Monday...

Got a little sleep, up at 6 and the Dirt Devil was sold out. Store pickup was available for my store, so grabbed that and body pillow. Yay

I just got back, and it was certainly a smaller haul than usual. Heads-up, my store had a very difficult time getting the $10GC with $30 iTunes cards to ring up. They ended up "expensing" the gift card and giving to me, which was nice, but I felt bad. I would have come back tomorrow, but they were very accommodating.

Page 16 has one. I actually thought of you when I saw it.

Gift Idea previously posted...gift certificates in a calendar?
bluebear replied to floridasun5's topic in 2014
Funny you brought this up, I had thought about doing this for my son when he went to college, but he ended up staying home his first year... So I never looked up the thread. But here it is, found it for you. This is such a great idea, and I will do it someday! http://forums.gottadeal.com/topic/205564-12-month-gift-ideas-needed/
