  1. My sister just got her order today -- she ordered 5 days ago including the weekend.
  2. Now I just have to get around to sending the MIR in lol.
  3. I had to pick some office supply stuff up, but all my coupons had expired. I checked the mail on the way to the store and lo and behold there was an Office Depot coupon. The coupon started at 10 off of 50. When I got to Office Depot I picked up the stuff I needed, but had trouble finding a Bluetooth Mouse for my new laptop. I had to ask an associate to help me. The shelf price said 49.99, but I figured at least with the coupon I would get 10 off and gave in and bought it. When I got to the checkout the mouse rang up for 39.99. The cashier had to force the $10 coupon because the system would not take it. When the receipt printed she realized why...there was already a $10 rebate on it. So by the time I get the $10 MIR back I will have gotten a $49.99 Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse for $19.99 -- and to think I almost didn't buy it so I could research a deal lol.
  4. Big lots has some wall mount baby gates right now for 25 I believe (it could be 29 though). You may check and see if if can work for your situation. The 6 foot opening is gonna be a bit trickier though.
  5. I hope there is a woot off. :) Of course I may not get any sleep lol If anyone sees one start, please post it on this thread. I subscribed to the thread with instant email notification. :) I will be checking, but in case I miss it.... Thanks in advance.
  6. My Walmart had them in the Christmas toy clearance section for $4 a few days ago. They were not Christmasy or anything just regular ones.
  7. My daughter's birthday is Sunday as well. :) She will be 2.
  8. DO NOT DEPOSIT THE CHECK!! It is a scam. There was another thread where someone got one like this too. I found it. Here it is: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=82449&highlight=mspa
  9. I would take the box into Sally's and ask them to help you find something similar. They will be able to help you a lot.
  10. Check your big lots they don't always have them, but often they have one for about 75 -- they don't usually carry the mattresses though
  11. My DH is in Iraq. Where he is they have wired internet only. And the way it works is that the guys go together and get a service provider. Some of them are out of London some are out of Saudi Arabia. The guys have to chip in to set up the satellite. If I recall there were 20 guys in DH's group and it cost us I think $250 (so each of the 20 guys had to pay $250 for the guy to come and set up the satellite). Then they had to run the wires. Now we pay $60 a month for it. Some guys pay less because they have more people in the group to divide it between, but the more people the less speed they have (and trust me it is nothing fast). Some groups pay a little over $100 a month and have better speed. Okay...I am talking to DH right now. He said that it would be wired internet. They do not use satellite because it is too unsecure especially with so many guys using it. They have tried it before but there is not a solid network. He said that although it is possible there is literally no infrastructure and it would render it virtually useless most of the time. As far as deals on computers I would check the dell outlet. www.dell.com/outlet
  12. Lowe's has some for under $300 if you are looking for a new one. If it were me I would get the GE for $328 http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=256524-83-WLSR2000GWW&lpage=none You could also check FreeCycle for one to get you by for now. I have seen several given away lately -- especially now with income tax return time. People will be buying new ones and getting rid of their old ones. Also, local appliance repair shops often have them for not very much. They often have a limited warranty with them and you could call around from home to find out ahead of time what they have. Good luck.
  13. I bought mine at Lowe's. They have the best prices and will beat competitors prices. Sometimes you can find one on sale at Sears and then get 10% off of it at Lowe's. I love GE that is my favorite brand of appliance. Also, sometimes they have a floor model with a small scratch or dent on it. They don't advertise it, but you can ask them to knock something off of it. I got a GE dryer there. The floor model was all they had. I got it at the discounted price because of the Sears ad. Then I saw a small scratch on the side (barely noticeable) and they knocked $50 off of it.
  14. There are in stock here for $59.99 http://www.educational-toys-mart.com/LeapFrog-Leapster-PINK-Handheld-p-141.html Also, BestBuy is sold out online, but you can check and see if they have them at local stores on the site. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8193439&st=leapster&type=product&id=1164157285124
  15. You are very welcome. I am just glad I could be of help. Good luck to your brother on the board. The higher up the harder they are, but I am sure he has been doing lots of studying. April is not far away at all. I think this last part for me will go by faster now that I am pregnant. (We got pregnant in December when he was home on leave). Now I will be focusing a lot on the pregnancy and the ten thousand appointments and it will be August before I know it. :)
  16. I would just email them to him and in the email tell him you will gladly go copy them as well and send them if he wants. That way he has them right away no matter what. My DH is the same way he keeps everything in a binder in page protectors. That way we always know where it is. What rank is your brother going for?
  17. I am not sure who has the best prices, but personally, I have scanned documents and emailed them. My husband was able to print them out. He may not be in an area where this is possible though. My husband handles all of the promotions, review boards and all. So trust me when I say the faster they get the paperwork the better. One guy in his unit did not get to go to the board because his wife could not find a paper he needed in order to get it there in time.
  18. Good luck finding the system let alone the bundle. I just spent days finding mine. They were out most places online. When I looked three days ago Walmart, TRU, Circuit City, Best Buy, Buy.com, Sears, and a few others were all sold out of any color. I called 10 walmarts, and 2 Kmarts all of them were sold out. I tried the local Game Stops and they were all out as well. I tried one Target and it was out. The other one, an hour and a half away had them. When I got there they had a couple of pink and one white left. On a side note, Walmart has some sets that have a game sleeve and game (and I think an extra stylus) for 19.99 and Target had some games for 14.99 up by the checkout.
  19. Now I am the one with tears in my eyes. Thank you for the update. It is great to know the mom was not mad. It sounds like the little one truly enjoyed her Christmas. :)
  20. That is such a great reminder this time of year. Trust me we will be doing this very soon. We usually donate to Salvation Army or Goodwill. Another idea is to give them via Freecycle.org. Sometimes it is nice to actually see where they are going -- especially if you are involving the kids. It makes it more personal for them and really reinforces the spirit of giving.
  21. Thanks. :) It is my favorite picture. But then again I am biased. lol I am sure the little girl had a wonderful Christmas thanks to you. :) It was a lot to do at the last minute, but you sure pulled it all together nicely. It makes you wish you could be a fly on the wall watching her open the presents.
  22. You know I did not know it was from you. Your name was no where on the package. It came direct from the company. They were in the nicest little velvet bags too. :) I feel extra special to have had you as my elf. Who knows maybe I will get you next year for secret Santa Thank you again :) Oh and as far as having more kids. Yeah DH wanted 16 when we got married. I have talked him down to 3 or 4 and we can foster and/or adopt later on down the road. lol I still can't believe I am actually preggo. :) zoemariesmamma -- You did so great with the gifts. :) I am still being a good girl and have not opened my birthday present or card yet. :) Thank you so much for all of the thoughtful gifts. You put a lot of time and thought into the.
  23. That is too funny. lol In a groggy sleepy state it takes a bit to figure things out. They played off of that well. :) I hope you all had a Merry Christmas
  24. Don't feel bad I am still trying to drill 5 into my head. I have said 4 several times -- DS is QUICK to correct me. lol It is Christmas time, I am sure your neighbors would be glad to help. That way the stuff will all be down and good to go. Maybe you can let them open those few presents then do a Christmas breakfast (how about using cookie cutters and making Christmas tree or angel shaped pancakes.) Mix up some butter with a couple of drops of red and green food coloring tonight and put it back in to chill tomorrow they can have Christmas pancakes. And maybe some green koolaid with red ice cubes (just use different flavors of KoolAid). Just a thought. Then by the time they are done eating DH should be home and ready to delve into the rest of the Christmas fun.
  25. Oh I am so sorry. Are you going to try to make the kids wait to open till he gets home then? Sheesh I can't think of any other way. Do you maybe have a neighbor that can help you get the presents down?
