Yup. I totally agree. Honestly, my life got considerably easier when I pulled my ds out of school to hs him because at least his curriculum met HIS needs and we were done with schoolwork by noon instead of 7 or 8 o'clock every night. And I am in total agreement that any parent of a preschool aged child is homeschooling them. Whether they are aware of it or not. Kids that age just absorb so much..........

VSmile $30 @ Walmart.com again + $6.97 shipping
delphernina replied to hhockman's topic in Online Hot Deals
I was going to say that as well. My walmart still has several on their shelves. They are marked $59.99 but when you scan it, the price comes up as $30. Also, check the clearance aisles. My walmart had MANY vsmile games for $11 apiece. -
we starte waiting at 2 am, were the third in line - in a store that had a minimum of 5 to find out- whoops, the store only had two in stock. grrr.... The computer only had 256 mb though, so it was a dawg so we let it go.

The first person I asked said, "Of course, we always price match" then as I was leaving she caught me at the door (she was a greeter) and said that she had talked to the manager and that our walmart wouldn't be pricematching this year. He was a total jerk too. His comment was, "Well, you're lucky we ever price matched at all. We're not supposed to you know." What an ass. I'm totally travelling. No way am I giving this bozo my money. It's sad really, because my small walmart has always been a good place to shop on bf.

Ok, so what time do the super secret ultra cool Walmart items go on sale? Are they doorbusters as well? I'm mighty unhappy with my walmart as I was just told they will not be pricematching this year by a rather smarmy manager and well............at this point I'm seriously considering not doing walmart at all and going to best buy for that computer. I'm at a tipping point, but if I could pick up the computer at midnight I *might*.

Thank you. I've been waiting for that.

*** Kohl's BF Ad Online on Kohls.com at 1am EST - NOW UP! ***

So I could get the boys urban pipeline jeans for $15 online? Wow, that would save me some gas money and 2 hours roundtrip on the road. -
Now if they'll just take care of my desktop problem so I don't have to shop anywhere else, I'll be one happy camper!
-
Our walmart has maps and you can see what's on the pallets. You just can't put any doorbusters in your cart until it's time.

I sure hope you're right about the computer deal.

BREAKING NEWS: Wal-Mart's hiding some Black Friday deals
delphernina replied to bigjimslade's topic in 2006
please, oh please let them put up a more inexpensive desktop so I don't have to drive (and subsequently spend the night camping outside) to Best Buy. -
Seriously - Best Buy will be getting a lot of new customers this year. Instead of shopping at Walmart and pm'ing other stores ads like I usually do, I'll be stuck spending the night at BB to get that cheap desktop. Doesn't sound nearly as fun as going to my local Walmart, but since the main thing I needed was a cheap desktop for my ds, I don't see much option.
-
No. I'm truly disapointed by Walmart esp this year.
-
That's exactly what I was thinking.
-
I'm with whoever said they hope there is a desktop for under $200. The one thing I *HAVE* to have this year is a desktop for my ds. If Walmart doesn't have one, I'll just have to camp out at BestBuy. Since I have to travel to go to BestBuy, there will be no point in pm'ing at Walmart because I can just as easily go to the other stores. If I end up doing that, I probably won't even go to Walmart because I can just order the few things I want from their ad online. I'm sure hoping Walmart doesn't disapoint me. My local walmart has always done such a good job on BF I'd like to continue our tradition.

Funny thing is, I don't have boys so the cb was for a friend. The only reason I got the smack down was because I was at the front of the line and since I was stuck there anyways(unable to get through the crowd) I thought I'd pass out a few to make an escape path. Apparently I didn't give quite enough out because one gal got angry about something and looked right at me as she smacked me down. For some reason, that just added to the whole experience. Now, if it had been something a bit harder or larger than a cb, I probably wouldn't have laughed rather filed charges. My lesson was learned, I'll steer clear of the babydolls from here on out.
-
I can't believe I missed Scamps for $14.99. That was one of the few things my 5 yo wanted this year. How did I not see that?!?
-
I got smacked with a Cabbage Patch. People get just a little too crazy about the baby dolls.

Mine too. Last year we bought several of the games on clearance well before Christmas and then picked up the regular Leapster at Christmas time. I know I've seen the regular Leapster on clearance several times. Whichever one you get - make sure to spend the extra $$ on the charger though. Otherwise you'll blow through batteries. I've bought several more for this year. About the difference between the two - well, we bought the regular one and then our house burnt down right after Christmas last year - one of the VERY first things we replaced was the Leapster only we decided to upgrade to the L-Max. Save your money - we never use the feature that's supposed to make the L-Max so much better than the regular Leapster. (You can hook it to the TV and play it on the tv.)

Yeah, I always check what I want vs. what Walmart actually has in stock prior to walking in. That way I already know ahead of time where else I need to go. -

Yeah, I don't feel a bit guilty when I'm pm'ing. But then, I also don't get too worked up over being stuck in line behind someone else either. My Walmart has always been super fast though - I'm usually walking out the door by 6:30 at the latest. -
