  1. I like the old way too. No excitement when sales are so spread out. Also, you never know who will have the best deal on the items you want. A lot more time and energy to monitor a month's worth of sales, plot and plan dates, etc.
  2. Can't wait to see who wins, only a couple more days to go!
  3. Logging in for December! Can't wait for my new Ninja Creami Deluxe to get here. Was just looking at recipes. I sold my old one for enough to cover the cost of the deluxe model.
  4. I didn't do much shopping at all. This is probably the first year in 20 that my sister and I didn't go out ANYWHERE :-( I purchased a nugget ice maker from Sam's November sale. I also purchased the new Ninja Creami 11-in-1 machine from Amazon, signed up for credit card got $150 off (I had the first version, which I loved, selling to my sister to pay for this machine.) I got a few things at Bath & Body Works and got the special box. Everything was online except in store pick up for BBW. I've (yes me, all by my lonesome) actually been installing a laminate floor in my livingroom and hallway for the last four days or so. Removed carpet and hardwood floors were in no condiiton to keep without total refinish which I couldn't afford (just did total bathroom remodel and backyard remodel in progress). LL Flooring gave me a killer deal on 30 year laminate, 89 cents/sq ft. Will probably finish floors tomorrow. I was trying to have livingroom and bathroom completed about a week ago until I was sidelined with floors. In looking through all of the ads, I really didn't see much that excited me. I think because I REALLY didn't need or want anything specific. I am a gadget person, so the 2 items above spoke to me, but I didn't have to spend much time to get them. My sister got a motion clock from Sam's and is looking for a smaller tv on cyber Monday, but other than that I don't think she bought anything either.
  5. OK, I'm in! Especially for the 20th anniversary! Can't wait to see what the mystery prize will be.
  6. Didn't see anything I wanted or needed. Hope next week's sale is better.
  7. You know what is sad? maybe it's just me but most of the stuff in the ad seems like the same stuff that they still sell today and what's funny is most of the prices are better now, lol.
  8. How about the Eureka 4-in-1 stick vacuum for $9? Love the colors! Wow! The Wii console was $249! Can't imagine spending more on the Wii than the XBox.
  9. I really didn't see anything exciting in this "ad". I also don't like this format. Hopefully it will get better.
  10. I got my nugget ice machine! I also got the membership gift card, my renewal was due on the 7th, saved $22.
  11. 1. Walmart will probably have the best sales this year. Their purchasing power usually gives them the edge and they have promised a good sale. 2. I will probably do most of my shopping online. With the sales so spread out it is just easier to get what you want online. We usually still go to maybe 1 or 2 stores in person if we find something good on sale. 3. I wish the actual sales on black friday would come back. Getting up early, going to breakfast, then waiting in line for the store to open. Those were the good old days!
  12. But this is just a sneak peek, so you never know. I have done phones there in the past as well. I wanted to do one this year except I don't want a folding phone.
  13. I think I have to get the nugget ice maker! Waiting to see if the motion clock is going to be on sale.
  14. Your link didn't work for me! https://corporate.jcpenney.com/newsroom/news-releases/2022/1013_We_Got_Your_Holiday.html
  15. Ok, I need a high end microwave with all the bells and whistles. My microwave went out after about 4 1/2 years. I purchased from Lowe's and had purchased the 5 year extended warranty. They decided they didn't want to fix it, so gave me a refund of my purchase price (from 4 years ago). Now I just have to find a microwave from Lowe's I want to purchase (and pay the difference) or sell the giftcard they sent me so I can purchase somewhere else. It's a pain to wait any longer because the microwave died back in June. It took me this long to get it settled because Lowe's never sent my info to the warranty company. We have been using a tiny counter top microwave out of my husband's big rig for 5 months! But I guess if we've gone this long, what's another month?
  16. Nothing on the website either. Last year they gave us a heads up that the ads were coming, trying to be the ones letting the ads out.
