Ok, I had to breakdown and get a kitchenaid mixer. I got it on sale at Best Buy. Was on sale for the same price ($249.99 for the 5.5 bowl lift) on kitchenaid.com, but with various coupons, rebates and rewards (one of which was expiring tonight), it was a better deal and a better color - I netted it for $182.09 (might be $172.09-not sure about one reward). I'm going to use my kitchenaid.com coupons for a few of the attachments I want. I doubt a better deal will come along. Waiting until Wednesday for monitors at Walmart.

Is there a spec sheet or info in the package? I would be curious to see the actual specs and if it came with any warranty.

Did you get the one from Sam's? I think I'm going to wait for the one from walmart. I couldn't find the specs for the one at Sam's. The one from wm is a little smaller but has better resolution and comes with a 3 year warranty.

You guys have summed it up....all of these crazy sales (and some not actually being sales), not being able to look at the paper ads and make a plan, not being able to plan what to purchase efficiently because of all of these mini sales...not leaving the house at 2am to grab hot chocolate and get in line until 6am...Sam's Club not having their membership giftcard on sale, only deal for signing up for credit card (which I already have). not being able to hear the "roar" of excitement when they tear open the pallets at walmart, lol.

Ok, I'm going to try again this year. Hopefully I'll remember to post this time. Going to put reminder on my calender.

Ok, so sad....I went through the whole ad twice. Nothing I'm very interested in. Maybe the curved moniter for $145 and IF my hubby needs new socks, they have his socks on sale for $8. I hope the next ad has more that I might be looking for.

I didn't see anything that rocked my world. But glad more will be on their way soon.

Me too, my husband and I would walk through the store and find cool gadgets. Only time I could get him to shop with me, lol.

I have the cc also, you can still turn off your auto renew. Then you can get the deal and renew in person before your due date.

I have their cc. Love it, it is the only one I use. Get $60-$80 cash back per month, even more after black friday, lol. More than pays for membership.

Why can't they ever offer us loyal, money spending, existing members some sort of perk? I take that back, some time during the year (might have been the one day November sale) they had a discounted membership giftcard that you could use to renew your membership. I used it last year. It must have been, because my membership is due to renew on the 7th and I think I had to let it lapse a little until the card was on sale on the 9th. ...I better turn off auto renew, lol.
