  1. Ugh Kohl's in on my last nerve lately. Yesterday it wouldn't let me sign on to check on the status of an order. I just tried to order some of these clothes and I can see the stuff is in my cart at the top of the page and it even tells me a total. But when I try to check out it says to review the items in my cart before I check out. When I try to review the items it says my cart is empty.
  2. I'm actually glad when those videos make it onto the news. I hope that the people who behave that way are ashamed to see themselves like that. It's really a shame that people resort to such behavior. I've been going out for a lot of years now and I'm lucky that I've never come across a situation like that.
  3. I didn't see any news crews around here at all! I was disappointed. That's cool that you got on the news though!
  4. I wore mine out today too! Once I was in the stores and took my jacket off I got a few comments about it! People thought it was funny!
  5. All I've done so far is place my Kohl's order online. I got everything I wanted there and didn't have problems with the site like last year. Everything loaded quickly with no trouble at all.
  6. It has gotten more popular but there were lots of crowds and stampedes. Don't any of you remember the Cabbage Patch Doll fiasco? That's all I wanted for Christmas that year. I didn't get one. Grown women were beating the crap out of each other for those things. Then there was the whole Tickle Me Elmo trouble!
  7. I love this site. Thanks so much for all of your hard work.
  8. I usually have to much stuff to go without a cart. I always have someone else with me so one of us stays parked somewhere with the cart while the other does the item running.
  9. Wow they have some great deals! The Cricut for $69.99!!!
  10. I'm actually pretty excited! I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and I've found lots of great things for them in the ads. We are a one income family so our budget can be pretty tight. It's nice to have this site so I can plan in advance and to be able to save as much as possible.

  12. I'm really hoping to see the Kmart Thanksgiving day ad soon. I don't go there on BF because it's too far away from the other stores that I go to so it isn't worth the drive but I do sometimes go on Thanksgiving.
  13. I'd get her the Touch since that's what she wants most of all. Then take her shopping after Christmas so she can spend her money on whatever she wants. As an added bonus all of that other stuff will be on sale after Christmas! Teach her the fine art of bargain shopping!
  14. Wow! What a great deal! I got the mouse, 2 8 pks of truffles, 1 pk of mini petit fours, 1 pk of brownies and then the 36 pk of truffles! YUM!
  15. I'm actually super happy with this ad! I'm very excited that they're opening at 10pm Thanksgiving night because now I can go there and still have plenty of time to run home, unload the car and then head back over to the other stores I'd go to. The LeapFrog Click Start is a great deal so I'll be picking up one of those along with quite a few other things.
  16. I don't think this will be my first stop but I'll definitely stop in. The Disney Princess baby doll is cute and $4 I'll get one for my daughter and maybe pick up a few others for donations. I might pick up a few DVDs and some of the kids clothes.
  17. Personally, I wouldn't take young kids out. It's to easy to get separated from someone in the crowd. I've had people running into the back of my legs with carts and I wouldn't want someone plowing into my kids with their cart. Some stores I don't even use a cart so the kids would have to walk. Last year I stayed home and shopped online because I had a 2 year old and a newborn at home. The newborn was breast feeding so I couldn't leave her and there was no way I'd take her out.
  18. Christmas Crack (yep, crack because it's so addictive!) 1 sleeve of saltine crackers (you can also use Ritz or Graham crackers) 3/4 cup of brown sugar 1 cup butter 1 bag of chocolate chips (I use semi sweet but you can use any type) 3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional) Preheat oven to 400* and line a cookie sheet with foil. Spray with cooking spray and cover sheet with a single layer of crackers. Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil (keep stirring because it burns easily). Boil for 3 minutes while stirring with a whisk. Pour over saltines as evenly as possible. Bake in oven for 5 minutes. Carefully remove from oven (you don't want to get the caramel mixture on you because it will feel like lava eating your skin...trust me). Let cool for about 3 minutes or until you can see the crackers distinctly. Evenly distribute the chocolate chips over the top and let them melt. Once melted add pecans if you are using them. Refrigerate until completely cool. Once it's cold break into small pieces and serve! It's great to add to cookie tins or plates for gifts!
  19. I have a Kindle and absolutely love it. I have the Kindle 3 and it's the first ereader I've ever had. I don't know how I lived without it!
  20. I did all of my BF shopping online last year because I had a 3 week old baby and wasn't about to take her out for BF. I ordered a ton of stuff from Kohl's. There website took forever and a day for stuff to go through and I had to try several times to place the order but I got everything I wanted. My only problem was that they sent a pair of jeans with a security tag on them! I've never had that happen with an online order before. So I had to take them to the store anyway to have the tag removed.
  21. Well at least they are consistently predictable! Nothing brings the spirit of Black Friday like Walmart threatening legal action!
  22. I usually have more on me at the first store than I do at later stores. At the first store (where I'm waiting outside in line) I have a cup of coffee, gloves, debit card and some cash, the sale ad for that store (just for something to look at in line), cell phone, and either a zip up hoodie or if it's really cold a coat. By the time I get to the 2nd store the coffee, coat and gloves are all gone.
