Is it BF yet?

This will be my 5th year.

It depends on the ads for me. I've gone to Walmart first one time. That was my first BF. Now I usually head to the mall first. Our mall opens at 3 a.m on BF. So I go there first for KB Toys and then head to Target or Kohls. Last year I went to KB, then Kohls because they opened at 5 am. We got there just as they opened. Then we headed to Target.

If you're going to shop there you should just head over to DE. My best friend lives in Gloucester and I live right near the DE Memorial Bridge. She comes down here every year and we head to DE. No sales tax!

I'm a SAHM so no need to worry about requesting a day off. DH's job is closed that day so he's always home.

-line cutters -people who get a ticket for one of the big items and then try to sell it to people further back in the line -Rudeness -Whiners.....if the fact that the store is crowded bothers you then don't freaking shop on BF dummy!

My tradition varies every other year. On the years that my DSD is here she goes shopping with me. We spend all Thanksgiving evening pouring through the ads (even though I've already seen them on here) and we revise our lists and make our attack plan. My friend comes at about 1 am to pick us up and we head out to a convenience store to grab some snacks and coffee and then we're off to the first store. We hit up all of the stores on our list and then grab something to eat before heading home. When she isn't here my friend comes Thanksgiving night and stays the night here. She usually sleeps for a bit and I try to but never can!

I've been so excited waiting for BF. Fall is coming so I start getting really excited and dying waiting for the ads!

I usually get them in the Thanksgiving paper. Walmart's ad usually arrives in the mail the week of Thanksgiving. After what they pulled this year though that ad might end up in the recycle bin!

This is about the only ad that looks decent to me so far. The B1G1 video games sounds like a good deal. This should apply to Nintendo DS games right? KB is in my mall which opens at 3 am! So they will be my first stop. They let us in the mall around 2:15 so we can wait inside which is awesome. KB is always very organized. The store is small so they don't let everyone in at once. You wait outside the store and they let people in as some come out. You just snake around the store shopping. You are in line for the register from the time you walk in. You just go through the whole store shopping. They give you a giant bag to stick all your stuff in. They have "runners" to go grab things for you. So KB will definitely be getting my business.

Buy them right after the holidays when they go on clearance. I know Target usually has them. I went in there right after Halloween and they had the Halloween ones 75% off.

I won't start wrapping probably until the beginning of December. Then I wrap but don't put bows or ribbon on yet. I wait until the presents go under the tree to do that.

We try to start Thanksgiving weekend. On Thanksgiving we're too busy with dinner and then I pour through the ads and plan my shopping attack. Then on BF by the time I'm done shopping I'm exhausted.

I thought about getting that for my son but after reading product reviews I don't think I'll be wasting the money. Apparently the graphics and everything are really bad. I'm not sure it will be worth it.

Walmart seems to fail to realize that because of ads being leaked early online it has probably brought them more business than they would have gotten without it being leaked. I also bet they have people who scout their competitors ads online and change their own prices accordingly. They will get NONE of my business this holiday season. Walmart is only about 10 minutes away from me and Target is about 30 minutes. I will drive the extra distance to Target.

This will be my little guy's first Christmas so I will probably do the Santa photo. One of the local malls does Santa and Mrs. Claus. The background is beautiful and they both look very realistic.

For me it's our local mall to hit KB Toys and Radio Shack. The mall is opening at 3 am. Then it is over to Target, then on to Sears and a few others.

Our area never has the Walmart ad in the paper. They always mail their ad. I got it in the mail yesterday. I bought 3 newspapers and 2 of them had BB ads, but none of the papers had a Kohl's ad. I got all of the ones I wanted though!

Does anyone think any of the stores will have PS3 or Wii on BF. I sincerely hope not. I don't need one and don't want to get involved in the craziness. I don't want to be in a store that is already busy for BF and then made worse because of these new game systems. I love BF and don't mind the madness that comes with it, but there is nothing I need badly enough to make it worth dealing with some of the nut jobs:cheesy: trying to get these games.

I am thankful for so many things it is hard to name them all. -the baby that is growing in my tummy as we speak (due in June) -my wonderful husband and family -my stepdaughter who brightens every day of my life -a warm home and food to eat -people who work hard to defend our freedom every day

Last year I saw a group of women who had rented a limo for the day. It was bit funny watching a limo pull up to Walmart just so these women could save $5 on some toy or something. They looked like they were having a great time though so I guess that's all that matters. I just wonder if the deals they are getting even out with the money they spent on the limo.

I gobble down my food with barely time to chew, I still have a long list, so much shopping left to do!

I think you should definitely do it! Maybe even add a Santa hat. Nothing wrong with giving everyone a little laugh as long as you don't mind hearing the whispers of "did you see the crazy guy in Spidey outfit?"
