Yes, lol. I really thought I was getting a good deal. I was so excited to take it out of the box. When I saw it, I just hid it away in a drawer and I don't think I ever even told hubby and kids that I bought that thing!!!

Congrats!!! My sister, step sisters, and step brother live in Houston!!! It does get crazy in their stores. My advice is to do what you feel is best. The year my youngest daughter was born, on Christmas Eve, I decided to try it. It turned out to be great. But I moaned and groaned and used the situation. lol People felt sorry for me and they helped me get all of my stuff so I didn't even have to get in there and fight. lol But we live in a small town where we know just about everyone.

At Wal-Mart, they bring all of their "blitz" items out on pallets. The problem is that the pallets are covered and wrapped and you have no idea what is in them. They put them all over the store so you have no idea where what you want is at. The price matching is easy...If you save the ads from the other stores, Wal-Mart will sell the same item at the same price as long as it is in stock. Welcome!!!!

The time is going by sooooo slooooowly!!!lol

I have never bought anything and found out it was broke, but a couple of years ago, I bought the food chopper at Wal-Mart and when I opened it I couldn't do anything but laugh. It wasn't even big enough to chop 1 tomato at a time. lol

I do get irritated because our Wal-Mart is open 24 hours and they tend to get really upset because some of us get there about 3:00 am. If we are not being loud, rude, or disruptive, I think they should just be happy that people are still wanting to shop there on BF even if they are the rudest bunch on that day.

Not sure about the PS2, but last year our Wal-Mart only got a few Nintendo SP. I got lucky and got 1 but I think they only got about 10.

2005 BF deals rumored to be better this year
Gporter34 replied to starshine's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I agree, I think I got better deals the year before last year. -
We don't have a BB but I am wishing we did by reading all of the posts. My sister lives in Houston so I may ask her to check it out for me this year, THANKS!!!
-
I think their list gets longer every year. I think I am going to have to put a limit on all of it. lol
-
The closest TRU to us is about an hour away so I don't even look at their adds. I thought about going one year but I would miss everything else!!!
-
I would like to see Wal-Mart have a good deal on a prepaid cell phone. I use them for my 2 teens and my tween so that I can prevent a huge bill. They have all asked for new ones this year and I think it would be cool if they had one on BF.

The kids, hubby, Mom, MIL, then pets. Then come all of those gifts the kids think they have to buy for ALL of their friends. lol

OMG!!! There are so many results for Wal-Mart sucks!!! LOL!!!

I guess I don't know him. lol We have four or five computer repair shops and I haven't been to any of them. That snow we got last year was a welcomed suprise. It started snowing on Christmas Eve and kept going until well into the night.

I have read that Wal=Mart is no longer PMing but I bought my groceries there today and they did. The manager said that they would still PM and she had heard nothing about them not doing it anymore. I hope they continue doing it because it saves me from making trips to several stores.

I don't think it would be the same to me if it were warm. I think the cold just makes it better. But I love the cold weather so I guess it's just a matter of opinion.
-
How cool. I have lived here all of my life, I probably know them. lol It's a small town.

I wrap as soon as I get home. The kids are usually still asleep and it's the best time. I have learned in the past that there is no safe place to hide them. A couple of years ago I thought I had everything hid, then on Christmas morning, my youngest son opened a "Santa" gift and said, "Wow I got two of these cause mommy has one in the hall closet, too." So now I don't take any chances. lol
-
Me, too. I usually don't carry my purse, just put cell phone, walkie talkie, and money in a fanny bag I bought a couple of years ago to take to the casino. lol
-
My mom and I go together, use walkie-talkies to communicate in the store and talk with as many people as possible because in the past, I have found that you learn alot. Last year we were waiting for the small appliances and by talking to a couple nearby we found out that they would be coming out the layaway doors so we just went back there and waited. Also, we don't have a mall here so we have my aunt go to the other stores and she gets the things we want at them and in return, we get what she wants at the stores we go to.

Well, I don't know if the weather could keep me in on BF or not, but I know that gas prices won't. I live in a small town and all my shopping is 7 or 8 miles away from my house. Also, I think that the situation down here in the southern states recently is so unfortunate, I have family all along the Texas Gulf Coast. But I would hope that of all times, this holiday season, people will be thankful for all that they do have and the spirit of the holidays will shine through.

I go to Wally World every year for BF and get the no name electronics. I have really enjoyed mine. Never had to replace any of them either. Better than paying 3 times the sale price for name brand.
-
Well, it doesn't get near cold enough for me. I love snow. I think you guys get the real Christmas weather. I am always so glad to get every little bit of snow we can get.
-
Yeah, we are in far north Texas, on Oklahoma border and we get really cold winters for Texas. We usually get some snow right around or right after Christmas.
