  1. We will be going to WM at 1am. We will get anything that is already out and put it in our buggys. Then we will watch all doors (layaway, garden center, and others) then relay by walkie talkies to the rest of our group what is coming out and which door. Then you just wait til the plastic comes off, jump in, and get what you can get!!!lol I hope that helps. But, as previously posted, every WM seems to be different.
  2. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=18328 Alot of WM questions are answered here.
  3. From my experience, many years of BF shopping at WM, all stores are different. I would definitely contact your local store and find out. There are many threads on here to help find the answers you need. I will try to help.
  4. There is some great info on this site for your questions. Hours vary by store. Which stores are you wondering about? Maybe I can help. Also what area are you in?? That helps, too.
  5. I was reading a few posts and decided that this would be nice. I know that in our family we celebrate Christmas in a traditional way. To me Christmas is a time for being with family who you don't always get to spend much time with, giving to people who may not have as much as we do(even though we don't have alot, lol), appreciating what we do have, keeping alive family trditions that have been passed down for many generations, adding some of our own so that our kids will be able to incorporate them with their own families when they are grown, and for the spiritual closeness that we feel when hearing a choir sing Christmas music, or watch a living nativity. For telling our kids stories of when we were kids, and having them laugh at us! Not to mention wonderful food. Those are just some of the things that come to mind when I think of Christmas. I am as excited about the great sales, but that is BF, to me Christmas is different.
  6. I guess it pays to pay attention.lol I saw this and was aabout to say something along the lines of if you haven't started saving yet, there's no need in it now.LMAO
  7. Our JCPenney has always opened at 7am. We go to WM then RadioShack, then Penneys.

    Limits

Most of the big items have limits and some of the little ones.Check the ads really carefully and in small print you will see if there is a limit. Some of the stocking stuffer goodies at Radio Shack have a limit of 5 per customer. Lucky for me I only need 5, of each!lol

    Scene It Game

Can't wait to play this game. But I will have to wait til Christmas!lol
  10. Mine stays open 24/7 and they will not close the night before, again this year. It is always best to check with your local WM because they do seem to follow their own rules at each one.lol There is a thread for all WM questions, though, you may get help there.
  11. If JCPenney opens at 5am, I will have to redo my WHOLE plan!!!Ikes!!! Why would they do that and mess up what few plans I have settled on?!?! Well, it wouldn't be BF if I wasn't dazed and confused!!!LMAO
  12. Oh, just trying to help out...shucks!!!lol
  13. I prefer chair #2 because they seem to be easy to fold and carry. I got mine on clearance, I think at Big Lots for about $4.99 each.
  14. I think I am signed in...not sure.
  15. Well, we have had a WM in our little town since about 1974. The only stores it hurt here were the dime store chains...Murphy's, Ben Franklin, and etc. I like shopping at WM but I love shopping at Target. I wish we had a Target closer than an hour away. If I boycotted WM I would be kicking myself because there is not many stores here to choose from. I do miss the "Merry Christmas" but to say anything else would be a religious/political debate and I don't do those!lol No one ever wins because no two people ever agree on everything. So, with that said, Happy BF shopping and Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!!!
  16. These are the right ones. But I know a cashier at WM and she said they are having a meeting Monday to find out what's going to be on sale. I think we had the info before alot of regular employees did. Sure managers and all of them already know, but they don't seem to want to talk about it at our WM. lol I asked a question and they about bit my head off!!!LMAO
  17. I would have to say that as far as nice employees on BF go, our Radio Shack wins that prize!!! They are wonderful every year. We get there early and the employees are waiting by the door. You tell them all of the early bird items and how many that you want. They find them, gather them up, and bring them to the check out for you. I love those people because I go there after WM and I need a little Christmas spirit when I leave there!!!LMAO
  18. Big Lots gives out freebies on Thanksgiving Day and on BF!!! Those are about the only freebies we get here except the gift card at Sears, and the snowglobe at Penneys!! I always get the snowglobe, and Big Lots freebies. A couple of years ago Big Lots gave away dvd players, and the year before that they gave away vcrs. I got those and used them for gifts.lol
  19. I never really looked at them. See how much I am learning here? I live in a small town where WM is the main store.lol We have to go all the way to Dallas for the other stores and I am not going to throw a curve to myself and try Dallas on BF!!!lol But this will be our first year trying to shop online before we head out.
  20. Well, I guess I missed that one by going to bed early.lol Please let me know when we are doing this again!!! I am Gporter34 on AOL as well. When you get old it's best to use the same ID everywhere so you can remember it. LMAO
  21. Well, Ross, it's me and mom again this year. We are taking my 17 yr. old son and 12 yr. old daughter with us to help out. The only store we will be going to is WM at 1am, Radio Shack, JC Penney, and possibly Big Lots(if their sale is decent). But the majority of our "BIG" shopping will be online and we are not sure if the items will be available before we head out to WM. So, we are about to lose it here!!!LOL We had our plans all made, but then all of the ads started coming out and now we are back at not knowing what in the crap we are going to do!!!!
  22. Thanks, Marcster, now I feel really stupid!!!LMAO I can't believe we didn't keep them just in case we could have used them. Oh, well, son says he thinks he may still have a few of them in his room.
  23. I you go to www.northpole.com , they have a Santa store and they have great ornaments with these characters on them.
  24. I agree, there's not much you can't get them to do when you get "Santa" involved!LMAO
