Some of the items will be available online on Thanksgiving Day, also. And like previously stated, you may be able to shop for some things online before you leave for work. I don't think that the blitz items will be online though, that would be a little too good to be true.lol

I totally agree. You may pay a little more for the tv, but if it's all your going to BB for, and you are going to WM for several things, I would go to WM and get the tv they have and pay a little more for it to save on everything else. Hope this makes sense, I am still a little sleepy. lol:banana01:

Our WM has a set of three Alpine trees for $20? not sure exactly, but under $30. I plan to get those this week and will be using them for bedroom trees.

Before you buy ANYTHING very expensive at all you should research and find the best deal. Even on small items, the BF price is not always the best price but consider other incentives, coupons, and savings and you will find that there are some really great deals out there on BF.

I think that if you read my previous post in this thread you will see that was MY point. We don't have alot to choose from here so NO we would probably not be as ready and willing to boycott WM as some in larger cities. And, may I ask, what exactly brought you to our wonderful little town?

The ones in the link are almost exactly like the ones I have been selling in the store. I have seen alot of snow women around. I collect them, too, so I am always on the look out for them.

In the "Main WM" ad ( non-early bird) there is an entertainment center. It may be what you are needing. It would help if you could just get them all in one place.lol Oops! Forgot to mention...if you download the scanned ads, you can see a picture of the entertainment center. So, you'll know now if you want to get it or not.

On the Dallas news last night they mentioned it but this is the first I've heard "locally" about it. However, they said that the boycott was called off so I guess that's not such a big deal around here since I don't know anyone personally who would boycott WM!

I am considering it this year with the kids and their friends. I think it is great, but I have never been before.

Peshua, your daughter sounds like my kind of BF shopping buddy.LMAO!!! I have been doing this alot longer than my mom, who is now my "partner in crime". She used to say she would rather pay full price than go out in that crowd. All it took was one year of BF for her and now she's as bad as me.

As I have shopped at WM every year for BF I can tell you, toys and electronics are probably the hardest things to get. I have seen many fights break out over toys on BF at WM.lol If you check the "Most Wanted" list on this site, you will see that the toys at WM are very popular on everyone's list. Therefore, I suggest that you be in line very early and take more than one person with you. And remember, WM's sale starts at 5am this year!!!! I am assuming your WM is not open 24 hours?

I think it depends heavily on what area you are in. For example, I live in a small town with very few stores, EVERYTHING at our WM goes early. The only things they have ever had even later that evening is tvs, and computers. But with the laptops this year even they will be gone. If you live in a small town, my advice would be to be there as soon as possible for the best chance of getting what you want.

I would always choose the 24 hour WM because some items such as clothes, toys, and such are out and can be put in the cart before the sale starts. But that's at our store, all seem to be different. Also, if you are going to pm any items at WM, early is a good time to be there so you can have those items already in your cart when the blitz starts. Also, if you have more than one person, send one to the check out lines when they start forming and you will more than likely be out of there in time to till make Target.

Our WM does not because most of the big ticket items are special deals and are very limited.

Hubby and I were in WM tonight and we were looking at the laptops to see if the HP was in stock (it wasn't, lol) and there was a lady in there with a list. She had the BF list!!!LOL I asked her where she got it and she said she got it from a website. Then when I asked if it was GottaDeal she said no, but their mark was on the ad. I told her she should write down the name and check it out because it's the best! She said she would. Hope so!!! BTW, hubby thinks I'm nuts!LMAO

I don't think the cards will be on sale. If you want a $20 card, it's $19.86 at WM. Then you go up from there. I know Radio Shack will have the cards, also, but not on sale unless I'm missing something. I have had Virgin Mobile for my kids for awhile and I have never gotten them on sale.

I now know that our WM will have NO limit on even the big ticket items! Manager says first come, first serve and no tickets will be passed out!!!ARGH!!!! That means everyone for themselves!!LOL

After talking to my local WM manager again, I now know that they will not be handing out tickets and that there will be no limit on big ticket items. Therefore, first come, first serve. That will help me because I need two of a couple of things, but it will also mean that when those items are brought out, there will likely be bloodshed!!!lol

Our sale is starting at 5am but the store is open 24 hours. If you want WM doorbusters, you should be there early. I know in our area, they go fasst.
