  1. At our store they were pink/white/beige/brown bundled together with a ribbon. There were 3 of each color. They have since restocked with different colored washcloths at full price. The clearance washcloths were those specific colors on sale for 74 cents.
  2. This might have been mentioned... but I've found lots of cute scrapbooking embellishments/papers (Halloween themed) IN the scrapbooking aisle. Of the few stores I visited last night, none of them had these items in the Halloween clearance aisle, but they are ringing up at 75% off. If you like to scrapbook, you might check for them. Many of the Jolee's Boutique dimensional stickers and cute rhinestone candy corn and "Halloween" written in rhinestones. I don't know if the stuff is 90% today or not. I haven't gone out. I went last night without my kiddos and figured it was worth paying the extra 15% to shop in peace-- even if stuff might be marked down again today! LOL
  3. If you just had a new store open, you are going to be very lucky during holiday clearance time for the next year. The years we've had new stores open, they've had 3-4 FULL aisles of Halloween stuff at 90% off. I mean there was so much stuff, it was like nobody had even shopped there. Candy coming out their ears, decorative paper plates/cups, etc... and this was at 90% off. It was so much fun. I'm not sure if it's because, as a new store, they aren't shopped as frequently or if the Powers That Be over order for the new stores... maybe a combination?? Anyway, I just remember getting some really, really nice stuff practically free. Also, make extra sure to check the regular aisles at the newer stores. Sometimes they aren't as great at keeping holiday merchandise grouped where it should be. I got 8 Christmas Barbies and a bunch of Kelly dolls at 90% off one year at a brand new store. It doesn't appear to take them long to figure out that they need to double check that, so take advantage before they figure it out!! I guess it may just depend, but for me, I've gotten so lucky at the new stores (the ones that JUST open or have been open a year or less). I live in a city where we have LOTS of Targets too. Maybe that is the reason?? Good luck!
  4. Thanks for the tip on the Polly Pocket coupon. That is a nice deal. Some of their sets are on sale this week for $7.99 (down from $9.99). With that coupon, they become almost 75% off! I'll be printing those off by the sheets. My girls love Polly Pockets. Plus, I just got money back from the recall, so I can combine that with them and Christmas gifts will be done (cheaply) in no time.
  5. Don't underestimate what may come out over the next few days. I've seen them dig out boxes of stuff when it goes to 75%. All I mean is that even if your store seems sold out of a lot, I usually find quite a bit at 75% off. I don't even look at the holiday aisles until they are 75% (unless I REALLY need something). Some stores don't find it important to really dig into what is left in the back until it is all about to go to 90%, so sometimes you will be amazed at what comes out even after it has been 75% off for a couple days. I guess it all depends on how well your store sold its Halloween inventory and how on top of things they are in the backroom! I think those who want to buy the household/food items (ziplocs, paper towels, napkins, etc.) are smart to buy those at 50% because many people who have coupons can get that stuff really cheap when it goes to 1/2 and even if you don't have a coupon, 1/2 price on household stuff is really a pretty good deal even if it does have bats or pumpkins on it! We had one store go to 75% off on Nov 3 last year. The majority of the other stores (at least the ones I shop a lot) went to 75% on Nov 5... 90% was Nov 7 citywide (I'm pretty sure it was citywide). That was in KC. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean squat, but it helps me kind of form a plan anyway!
  6. Where did you print the toothpaste coupons?
  7. For me hiding stuff can be great; however, I have to promptly go to my car and write down where the heck I put the stuff. Too many times, I'm like... "I know I hid something somewhere, but what was it and where the heck did I put it?!" Oh it sucks getting old.
  8. Does anyone know when the Halloween stuff goes 30% off? I know the schedule for 50 and 75 percent, but there are some things that I need for a Halloween party this Friday, and I'm thinking that it all should go 30% off soon.... or do they just wait until a COUPLE days before Halloween to do the 30% off? I never pay much attention to that first markdown cause I usually don't waste my time until it goes to 50 or 75%. Given that it all goes 50% off the day after Halloween, I would think they would mark it to 30% at least a few days before. Anyone have any ideas? (I know they have the costumes & accessories marked down right now, but I'm talking about partyware, etc.) Thanks!
  9. I don't mind the clipless coupon because if you give the cashier the clipless coupon first, you can still use other Target coupons (i.e. ones from the generator or the receipt coupons). However, when I gave the cashier the clipless coupon LAST (after other TARGET coupons), it wouldn't allow the discount. So, now I always put the clipless coupon on top. For some reason (for me anyway) the clipless coupon wouldn't go through if it was scanned AFTER a Target coupon I got from the generator or some other place. I found some of the pampers diapers that were marked down to 30% off (19.xx). I used the clipless first and got $1.50 off, then I used the $5 coupon (from awhile ago); then I used the $3 off pampers wipes and diapers (also from awhile ago--didn't buy the wipes, but cashier pushed it through anyway); then I used a $1.50 manufacturers coupon. Very cheap diapers. I hope that they don't eliminate the other Target coupons in favor of the clipless though. You can only use it on each item once and it would eliminate the possibility of cashiers pushing coupons through because the cashiers don't really have too much to say about the clipless if the machine won't take it. You usually have to take it to customer service to work it out... big hassle factor. It appears that the clipless coupon is kind of a new concept to some areas maybe. Some of the cashiers kind of look at it strangely and/or try to keep it after scanning it. Saw MM juice 15 packs today on clearance for $2.68 (30% off). They were Mixed Berry. Even after the $1 coupon from the generator, the elusive 10 packs for 69 cents are still a better deal. But if you have a hard time finding the 10 packs, these aren't a bad deal either. These clearance 15 packs were at the Stanly store.
  10. I've found them at all the Targets around me Super and regular (about 5 or 6 different stores). Most of the time I find the juices laid right out on top... like they were just "tossed" there quickly. However, there are a couple stores that I have to dig for them and they are put waaaayyy in the back behind the other packages. Perhaps an employee who understands the deal and is coming back later for them? hmmm?? I have not found the 10 packs in white grape or the orange juice. I have found them in fruit punch, grape, and apple. It is an incredible deal now with the $1 off coupon on the generator. (seeing as how they are only 69 cents!) Every time I use the coupon on them, the register beeps though. The cashier has always pushed them through.
  11. Thanks so much! Unfortunately I had to use the kiosk this morning to print off the Minute Maid coupons because I was lucky enought to find 4 packs. It took THREE pieces of paper for every ONE coupon I printed. Because I wasn't sure when/if the coupon would make it out to the generator, I printed about 8 coupons. TWENTY FOUR SHEETS OF PAPER later --UGH!!! I just hate waste even if it's not costing me. So, I took the extra sheets home with me (they are virtually blank) and will use them to print off coupons here. That is an amazingly nice coupon to have. As if 69 cents wasn't a good enough deal on 10 boxes of juice drink. NOW, I get 30 cents "extra" applied to my other purchases on the days I find the MM. I hit a Target this morning that I don't usually go to and was completely amazed to find 2 multi packs of the cheap Puffs (78 cents for 4 boxes) and 2 multi packs of the cheap Kleenex ($1.24 for 4 boxes). I also found THREE 2-packs of the Back to School Clorox wipes ($1.48 for 2 large containers). Used the $5 Puffs coupon and some other manufacturers coupons too. Very cheap trip!
  12. Does anyone know how to print multiples of that Minute Maid juice box coupon that is currently here: http://sites.target.com/site/en/supertarget/page.jsp?title=coupons_specials I really appreciate any help!
  13. There is a Minute Maid coupon for $1 off the multi packs of juice boxes. It is on Target's website and expires on 10-27. Has anyone found this coupon on a generator somewhere? I'm very anxious to get a sheet of these coupons printed off to keep with me when I stumble on those 10 packs. I can't find it on any of the generators I have links for. Any help??
  14. Oh good, glad to hear that the juices are still out and about. Now, it would be great to have that current coupon put onto the generator! :>)
  15. Has anyone found any Minute Maid juices lately? I haven't found any in awhile. Now I see that Target just put out a $1 off coupon for the packs of MM. I hope they are still shelving those 10 pack cheepies. Having that coupon will make that juice an even nicer find than it already is!
  16. The dispenser is silver and black and the label says Scotch Sure Grip Tape Dispenser. I has 1 refillable dispenser and 1 roll of tape. I think the original price was $11.89 or something like that. They are now marked down to $2.97, I believe is what I paid.
  17. The Kleenex packs have 4 boxes in them, but they are relatively skinny boxes. There are other Kleenex packs with 4 boxes as well, but the sale ones have skinnier boxes than the others. The Puffs also have 4 boxes in the pack, but I think (don't quote me) there are other Puffs boxes that also say back to school so you have to really scan to be sure you are getting the ultra cheap ones. The Puffs sale 4 packs have weird kid type designs on them. That's how I know which are which. The Clorox wipes are 2 packs with the label "one for home, one for school".
  18. Yes, those keyboard type label makers were regularly $30 (I think they were orange and white). I also found 2 of those marked down to $7.50. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks very cool.
  19. The label makers were red and white and they really stand out because there is a bonus punch type label maker packaged together with it. I did not see these at a lot of the Targets. I'm thinking they were just at the Super Targets... but I could be wrong. Maybe there just weren't that many and they all sold early. I don't know. I believe the regular price on them is around $14, so they are marked down to $3.48. Very different from previous years when there were so many Dymo label makers around at 75% off. I'm glad I stocked up on them. They make great gifts and I also have one in about every room in the house. Of course I'm a freakish organizer, so I use them a lot. Previous years they had really nice ones marked down from $20 to $5 and they also had lots of the label refills on clearance too. Not this year though:no: (at least not that I've found.) I had more luck in the office supply aisle today as well. Able to find some post its and also 2 of the Scotch shipping tape packs with a dispenser marked down from $11.xx to $2.xx.
  20. I was just at the 119th ST tonight at 5 p.m. and bought a bunch of crayons to give out for Halloween (what a great idea from this forum). Anyway, they had gobs and gobs and gobs left, so you should be able to get some tomorrow. Also, one of the workers was right in that area and he asked me if I wanted any backpacks cause they had lots more in the back. I told him only if he could find some Hello Kitty ones. He went back and they had more. I only needed one more, so you might expect even more back to school stuff to "come out of hidding!" I also combed the office supply aisle and found Sharpie markers and highlighters along with a label maker. They aren't marked, but if you just sort of look for the packages that don't quite fit with the new, full price stuff you may get lucky. I went and scanned them and they all scanned 75%, but they did not have orange stickers on them. For sure I can tell you that the Sharpie markers come in a 24 pack and the new ones that are selling for full price are 25 packs. That may be one quick way to spot those. I just recognized the label maker and knew that was back to school.
  21. About the long red/white clearance "As Is" stickers. I have seen those items go lower and they just put another As Is sticker over the existing sticker. I have also seen items with that sticker grossly overvalued or undervalued...where the orig. price is way lower or higher than I know it truly is. I don't know why or how that happens and it doesn't happen that often. Most of the time, the items I see with that label are not that great of a deal... maybe 30% off or something. I think shoppers kind of have to watch and know the value of what the item is.
  22. Major score on school supplies in KC today. I just didn't have any luck finding anything at most of the Targets that went from 30-50% off...seemed like there was nothing left by the time it got to 75% last week. But, today, 2 Targets (Oak Park and Mission) went straight from 30 to 75% off. OMG, there was so much left. Tons of Crayola, post its, scotch tape Hello Kitty folders and tablets, Crayola pip squeak markers and creativity kits, super glue, masking tape, 64 count crayons... I even found 4 large Rubbermaid type containers used for hanging files. They had just finished marking, and I had the whole aisle to myself. (It was nice cause I didn't have to bother anyone to scan and ticket stuff for me.) The lunch boxes didn't appear to be marked. Very nice day on school supply deals for me finally.
  23. I forgot to suggest to you that when you return it, just ask very nicely if there is any way that you might be able to rebuy it. Although it doesn't always work, it has worked for me as many times as it hasn't. I had 3 sacks of Christmas toys last year that I bought at 50% off and when I returned them, I just quietly asked the CSR if there might be a way for me to buy some of them back. She said "sure... just means I don't have to put them all back!" I was AMAZED. Your mileage may vary on this, but if you go later in the evening when it's quiet and management isn't likely to be around, you may be surprised at the answer you get. Especially since what you are buying is rather large and the CSR on duty might just think, "okay saves me that hassle of hauling it back out to the floor." I always figure it's worth a try. All they can say is "no" and if they do, just tell them you totally understand and come back the next day. The main thing is to be really nice no matter what they say cause they don't "owe" it to you to sell it back to you on the spot.
  24. I've found the best way to do that is to return it late at night just before they close. Then be there right away in the morning. Even though I rarely do that (cause it's kind of a hassle), the couple of times I have done that, it has worked for me. I suppose you always run the risk of a store employee intercepting it. There is one Target store near me that has a lot of young guys working in the evenings. Usually, the stuff I'm buying is for little kids, so when I return the item to that store in the evenings, it's pretty safe that these young guys won't be interested. If I were you I would also take off the orange sticker. There is a chance that it won't get reticketed and may just go back out without any ticket on it. That would be great for you since YOU know what it will ring up as. Good Luck.
