  1. They can look it up typically but it will still have to be within the return time frame for the product you want to return. The 10% is usually good for about a bit over a month if I remember correctly. You can use it ONE entire day.
  2. What I have noticed is that it matters little if someone loves their cell phone service UNLESS they live in my area and need the same stuff I do. I need family plans and great coverage and not all cell companies had great coverage in some of the little areas I drove. Although I see the great progress that cell companies have made through the years, there are still some areas where one company won't be the best for you, depending on where you live. I personally have Sprint. Got some good deals, still wish I paid less but I stay with them because of the coverage. I have yet to be disappointed with their signal. Dealing with their Customer Service is what I consider a trade off.
  3. I have no idea on the price as I don't do carpet. (Such a mess in the long run.) But Kilz is a great product and should do you fine. You can google it to see what it is in it in case you are concerned about your allergies. But it is NOT a bleach. It is a paint sealer/undercoat.
  4. Yep, I know. But I had one that the clerk didn't mark and I couldn't remember if I used it or not. When I had them check it, it kicks it back. I agree about the date but if you wait and the date is screwed that would be sooooo sad.
  5. I would call and ask before you tried it AND I would make sure you talked to a manager and got the name. Mainly because once you use them they are no longer able to be used because the COMPUTER knows they have been used. So if you use them after the date on the card, the COMPUTER may not allow them to be used.
  6. The sub floor isn't sealed so any liquid will damage it. If you have a scent, more than likely it is in the subfloor also and unless treated, you will be placing new carpet on top of a stinky subfloor. Once you pull up the carpet and pad, the subfloor will probably show some kind of mark. This area will need to be cleaned well. If you cannot use bleach, there is probably another product out there. You should be able to ask the installer or even the salesperson. Bleach is just the easiest and cheapest.
  7. Coupons came in our local mail last week.
  8. Not sure if just the charge does the same thing... I do not have the charge, I have the rewards All Access Pass which was free and is basically like a grocery card. You hand it to them, they keep track of your purchases and occasionally, they give you discounts. But they always give you discounts each quarter after they add up what you purchased.
  9. If you have an all access pass from AE, you accumulate points. At the end of each quarter, they send you a coupon that varies according to what you purchased.
  10. I think it is one time either or. But, I would still ask in the store...never hurts. I just wouldn't count on it.
  11. I forgot about Gap. When my kids were young, I always went there...at least weekly. Their clearance for kids was awesome! I once found my dd a winter coat for $4. Once my kids grew out of the kids sizes, it was harder to find stuff and it seemed that they didn't clearance adult sizes as well as they did kid ones. I miss Gap clearance!
  12. I found that it depended on the kid. If I bought something that they did not like, then it didn't matter if it lasted forever because it wouldn't get worn. I used to buy a lot at Target Clearance. Now I can't find a thing there....that they would wear.
  13. It depends on whether you have the room to do a buffet area. I have a great room, dining room/living space all one large area and a small kitchen. I set up tables end to end the length of the great room and then had a buffet area in the kitchen. I set plates and had the guests pick their seat, grab their plate and fill up in the kitchen and then sit. Since no one was in an awkward place where they couldn't stand up and get more, it worked for us. I had the usual on the table, condiments, relishes, water pitchers, milk etc but the main entrees, one had to go to the buffet area. I like buffet as long as people don't have to completely leave the conversation to visit the food. And I like buffet because then there are too many bowls on the table. Also, if the conversation is going well, sometimes people hate to interrupt to ask for food to be passed. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
  14. Because it depends on the store sales etc. I find different things on clearance all the time.
  15. I believe that marking down floor models is very much up to the managers discretion. So you may get it and you may not. I was told no once and I was given a mark down once so in my store it has changed also.
  16. Might be worth it to get the totally awesome pumpkin cheesecake they have this time of the year. Will have to check this out....
  17. You may be able to find a replacement at Sears Appliance. My dh is pretty handy and when anything goes wrong, he calls Sears, gives the model number and brand name and tells them what he wishes. They order it and ship it out to our home and he replaces it. The number is 1-800-949-7192. Not sure if they handle your brand, but if they do they can give you an estimate on the replacement.
  18. Since it is a child's item, there are many wonderful charities to which you could donate the item and take a credit on your taxes.

    Menards

It usually takes about a month for them to get the store completely up and running. You should see a soft opening then.

Near Cincinatti? Chilicothe? Sounds like it may open after Thanksgiving.
  22. Yes I saw some odd ball rugs and towels marked down 50%. At first they were in the regular aisle at 30% and this week, those aisles were being reset and all are now on endcaps so I had to really look.
  23. Funny...I saw it this morning. I do not drink coffee tho and my dh, who does, prefers flavored coffees and vanilla creamer. I was excited when I found the Pumpkin ice cream in the local freezers. Now that is some good stuff! A pumpkin shake with whipped cream and cinnamon...YUM!
  24. The 300 oz is also gone. All liquid manufacturers compacted their liquids to cut down on waste.
