I asked in Walmart a few weeks ago because I was curious. The mgr told me that they fly in someday in the middle of the week and fly off the shelves just as quickly. I expressed surprise that they still weren't reliably on the shelf and he said probably by May for sure they would be. Huh, is all that came to mind...they really are dragging this shortage out aren't they?

I bought some home decor at 50% off. I was looking at pillows, they were regular price so picked up one that would match well. Went through the checkout and as I was walking out of the store, I checked my receipt. To my great surprise, the pillow was 50% off so I went back in! Sure enough, while I was shopping, they had marked the entire home decor area I was looking at, down to 50%. So I just had to pick up the other pillow! Love how that worked out!

Today I decided to get a slip cover and was prepared to pay almost $100 for it. Threw one I liked in the cart: 69.99. Started looking at the clearance items and found one for 19.xx!! Ended up getting them both so the love seat can always be covered, even when I am washing one.

I found some of the Tide. Was happy to see my store had marked down ours to 50% off as I know it was only 15% previously. I also got a framed wall hanging I had noticed before, 75% off. All in all, I was pleased.

High Efficiency washers don't need as much detergent or water. You can use regular detergent in them, but lessen the amount you use. So, if you don't have an HE washer and buy HE, it would probably be best to use more so it may not be as good of a deal for those who don't have an HE washer.

Just to add to this, Tide HE is undergoing a change. The formula will be more concentrated so a lot of stores are getting rid of the old HE formula so they have room for the new which is also in stores now.

Hit a smaller Target today since I was having withdrawals. Found 2 leather ottomans, originally 79.xx now 19.xx. Got both plus a bamboo bowl that was sitting with them for only 3.xx. I was very happy.

Considering so much on the internet has to be taken with a grain of salt, AND that it sounds like this site was set up for the purpose of getting people to rise up and form a union, can we just suggest that perhaps some of the posts are not exactly true? If I was someone who wanted to form a union at Target, I would exaggerate my little heart out on the internet on a public forum so others will join in and perhaps, just perhaps, I could get that union started that I wanted so badly. We all have freedoms...I love Target, have my good days, my bad days, have days where I do not care for a team member but I still go there because I like it. I frankly do not care if people in random places all over the Target world are complaining. I shop there because I like the deals and the products.

I keep in mind what people have mentioned, but sometimes it disappoints me greatly when my store doesn't have stuff. If I went in with a list, I know I would be so sad by the time I walked out. Instead I just make sure I have time and I walk the entire store and walk back to areas that I really hope I can find something in. I walk down aisles, stand at the ends and move stuff around so I can see everything. Time is the winner for me. Plus I always go alone. Easier to look without someone talking to you.

I am not either. I do not remember how many years Global has been around but I personally thought it was marked higher this year than last. You know how you look at something and think this is about x amount of dollars? I thought Global this year was higher than it should be and 50% was about right. In other words, I wasn't as thrilled with the price and the stuff as last year. But it didn't surprise me. Why would they consistently get products in that they would lose money on. I am still very pleased with all the stuff I find at Target and it is still the best part of my shopping experience.

If you have terrible cell coverage where you live, it probably is best to switch anyway. I know when we picked a new provider, I made sure they had an early cancellation policy so if their coverage was terrible where I needed it, I could cancel without penality. Sprint has a 30 day cancellation policy so you can try it and see if it is right for where you need to to be working. Sorry to hear about the theft...might be for the best if the coverage was so bad.

Are you asking about housewares and domestics? That area is where all the kitchen, bath, bed, plates, pots, pans, etc are. Domestics are the kitchen, bath, bed. Housewares are things like silverware, plates, pots, pans etc. Anything in those area.

Mine was 30% off this am. Honestly there isn't much at mine that I would want. I would love the large square ottoman that started at 299. However 75% is probably the only percentage I would consider buying it for.

I found some area rugs for my entry way for 50% off. My local store was out of the style I wanted but a nearby one had them when I stopped in. Ran through Global but yes still 30% off.

I saw it briefly mentioned but wanted to state that Global Bazaar is now 30% off. I picked up some smaller things that I really liked and that may not be available as it goes down more.

My store does extremely well on marking down items. Very rarely are the stickers wrong. I was waiting on a duvet cover and some blankets once. Every week, I made my daughter carry it over to the scanner and check it out. Every week, it was the price marked. One week, it was finally ticketed down to the 75% off. And yep, it was finally 75% off so we bought the blankets and the duvet cover. My only point in mentioning this is to point out that each store is only as good as their employees. My store seems to do a good job. However, I have noticed that they don't always change all the signs and occasionally if there is more than one product, they do miss one. I love looking through Target tho for the great deals. I am waiting patiently for Global to go down. I htink I may pick up some smaller things at the first mark down this time...just so I get what I really want. Again, I appreciate everyone here sharing their stories....it helps sooo much!

What I have noticed about this thread that is instead of people using the info to find good deals, they seem to get upset if their store doesn't have the same deal and want to complain to corporate. I think this thread is excellent to help people notice things BUT I do not assume I am going to find the same items or that there will be any left or that I have the right to complain if my store doesn't have any. I think every store has a guideline to follow. There probably are some variations and each store marks things down at different times. Case in point: Last October I found a small wall hanging at a smaller Target 45 miles from my home on clearance for 75% off. The same wall hangings at my local Target were regular price. I do not think I had any right to complain and yell at my local Target. Just last Thursday, my local Target marked down the exact same wall hangings to 75% off. So the difference in markdowns from Targets 45 miles apart was 3 months. I am just thankful I had patience and luck to find what I wanted when they were both marked down 75%. I guess the moral to this thread should be, good luck and be patient! But if no luck, good luck next time!

Ok...I am sooo happy! I always shop on Thursdays as I usually find the best deals BUT because you guys post and share, I went back today. Major score!! The Thomasville tv cabinet (black) that was only 50% yesterday was 75% today and they only had 1 left! From 200 to 49! My son has loved this world print in the wall hanging area. It was at 80 regular price but it was down to $20! My daughter loved this other small wall hanging, reg price 20, now 5! I also picked up some necessities and walked out with paying only $85!! I also had the 10% card from using my Target Card.... Big time thanks go out to you guys here, sharing all your great finds! Although each Target is different, it helps to get an idea of what might happen and keep an eye open. Great job everybody!

Keep looking cuz I thought it was marked down. Seems they are doing a major change in that area so just keep an eye out. Or ask...can't hurt!

I am watching a piece but is still 50%. I did notice today that they still had 2 pieces and that the tag had 2/13/2007 on it. Figured they must have to get rid of it by then...and your post just helps solidify that notion! THanks!

Global has had some advertised sales. But as of yet, nothing is marked down for clearance.

I always hit my Target on Thursday. It is the best day for me and I find the most deals at my Target that day. Occasionally I have noticed furniture going down to 75% off so am hoping that since my Target still had a few left, that they will want to get them out of there and mark em down again. The only way you can get an adjustment on a clearance item is if they still have the exact item you bought previously. You can buy it again and return it with the other receipt I believe.

I have been watching these at my store. I am waiting for 75% off tho. Mine were still 50% Figure if they are gone they are gone...but still hoping for Thursday!

Each Target is very different. I live relatively close to 3 Targets. When I was shopping before Christmas, I found a wall hanging at the smallest Target for 75% off and picked it up for my daughter for Christmas. (I believe it was in October.) Now the largest Target has marked the exact same wall hangings down to 30% off. So you definitely have to check each Target. If you live close to one and find nothing but have a chance to go to another, it certainly can pay to check it out. I do occasionally frequent a Super Target also but have never found a deal I have to have there. I do think it has more to do with how often I can go to that one. I find my best deals at the one closest to my house. Probably because I am in the store more often thus my odds go way up.

Depends on which sprays too. Air Effects or the Fabric Refreshers?
