My experience also with the clipless is that mystery items/amounts will be taken off. For that reason, I have mine scanned even if I didn't buy anything it says on the coupon. -

You can't use one coupon more than once. Meaning, if it said 50 off propel, you only get it off one package of propel. They will scan the coupon each time you shop but if you used the propel coupon, that one is voided and only unused coupons will be taken off the next time you shop. Also if it says 50 off 2 ziplocs and you only buy one, you get nothing off cuz you only bought one. This is my 3rd one and I like it.... -

I never saw these anywhere before...then suddenly almost an entire aisle appeared in my store marked at 50% off. I really want 75% so am holding out a few more days. -
I think there is a Scotch brand pad at walmart or at the dollar stores.

If I am remembering correctly, this is the slower time of the year. Halloween will be clearanced for the Xmas stuff so it isn't a problem for space. -
The ham is wonderful. Bit of irony, cuz I just bought one. I buy the mini, around 4# for just everyday eating. It is sliced so I take it off the bone and split it into 3 bags. I freeze 2 and we munch on one, making sandwiches etc. I didn't even realize they had turkey until I noticed it said how to heat up the turkey on the bag my ham came in. I haven't tried any sidedishes. We did try a dessert...it was just ok and would never get another of those.

No, it really depends on the area and the store itself. I shop about 5 Targets and the smallest one has some great clearance whereas the 2 middle ones vary greatly in clearance. The Super Target I have shopped at has little to no clearance compared to the others I shop. -
XBOX 360 or Playstation 3????
scrabbler replied to Dena Neal's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
We have had 4 xbox 360's. Thank goodness someone suggested to us that we get the extended warranty. We bought it at Best Buy, the extended warranty also...and only have to run down to Best Buy to get a new one when we have an issue. If my son didn't love playing the games so much, and dh too, I would think it was a piece of crap...but they have enjoyed it so much that even returning it for a new one isn't that big of a deal. -

This is really the fun of shopping Target....or I guess it can be the big pain of shopping Target. I shop about 4 Targets periodically and have found things 75% off in one that stay full price for MONTHS in others. So if you have more than one Target you can visit, it never hurts to look. Tis why this thread is titled PERUSING. -

Well, it wasn't patience but constantly going back to my Target. Today my kids wanted some more of the clearanced cereal I got yesterday, (Hot Wheels by Kellogs) and my black leather Club Chair was down 75% with 2 left. Thankfully I even had our truck...so I am now a proud owner of a new Leather club chair for only $75. -

Only 1 leather chair left at my store and it is only 30% off...so now the waiting begins....and hopefully luck will be on my side. -

Yep, it is sort of a brownish color and sort of a velour fabric. Doesn't look terrible if that is what you wish. If I had the spot, it would be a nice price. -
In my experience, we are very pleased that we purchased the extended warranty for the xbox 360. We tend to never buy extended warranties but we were warned about the 360 and were very pleased that we purchased it. We did not purchase an extended warranty for the Wii and have not yet regretted that decision.

I didn't think the backpacks would be around yet to look at but my Target still had some for 75% off. I ended up getting another Jansport for a just in case, because it was 12.48 marked down from almost 50. I am watching one of the College chairs..it is still only 30% off. They only have 1 left and I have no big hopes..but you never know. Lots of frames and artwork on clearance again. Must be time to bring in new. Sheets and stuff too being marked down. School supplies were basically gone but were at 75%. -
If the face value of the BF ticket is no value, it is then a value of zero dollars. To sell that ticket "could" then be considered scalping. If illegal in your state, then it may be best to not sell the ticket. Things are only "worth" as much as people are willing to pay. Whenever anything is in high demand, its value "appears" more. However, you then have to find that person that will pay you for that ticket that is of no money value. My own personal opinion is that if I stood in line, I would not take a ticket of an item I did not want. To "hope" that ticket may put some money in my pocket is an odd way to save some money at Christmas time. It would be better to stop some extra activity now until BF and save that money. Definitely a surer thing than hoping some other person will pay you for something that has no value.

Checking prices can be an eye opening experience. I often find Target cheaper on regular, everyday items. Other times when I notice something is a few cents more expensive at Target, I notice on my next visit that Target has lowered the price. In my area at least, Walmart is not cheaper on every product. Actually, if Walmart was cheaper on every item, they too would lose money and then would no longer be able to lower prices as they do on some items. I ,too, disagree. No business would be as successful as Target if they lost money continuously by selling clearanced items. If it makes you feel better to believe that you are making Target lose money, whatever helps you sleep at nite. Almost every business has "loss leaders" which are items they take a bit of a loss on to offer them at a price that no one else can match. They get you into the store and once any business has you in there, they count on you picking up other things which often are more expensive than a competitor. -
Target has it until 9/22 for 49.99 and a $10 Target gc

If they are resetting the area, I have had the experience where they put everything into a cart and push it in the back room. Then they reset with the new stuff and after they are done, they bring the old stuff back out. I wanted an MP-3 that was clearanced and kept going back to find it. The next day, I went back but they were resetting and when I asked, they were sure it was just gone as they looked for me halfheartedly and found nothing. BUT, the next day I went again and there, on an endcap, was the MP-3 I wanted!! Keep looking if you are still interested! It is often about not getting totally disappointed and giving up. -

Am I the only one that doesn't go out on Black Friday?
scrabbler replied to LoveNcMountains's topic in 2007
I am a fuddy duddy right with you. I love to shop and would do it every day if my wallet allowed. I also love a bargain...but I am not going to be pushed and shoved and wait in line for hours for one. But in most stores, I try to hit them before noon and I have been known to wake up early to make it to Walmart. (This is on normal days, not on BF.) -

I dislike crowds in general. I refuse to shop in Walmart unless it is before 9 am. I have never shopped on BF and will, more than likely, never shop on BF. My dh got up early one BF to attempt to get a computer. Ended up at Office Max to get the computer. Stood in line for over 2 hours just to pay for it. He says never again also. I would rather pay more than stand in line and wait with annoying people. I am sure all of you are wonderful but I, at this moment in time, would rather pay more than stand in line. I found gottadeal to find other deals. I tend to visit less and read less when BF rolls around. I will leave all those to you guys....I have lived without for this long! -
I use the daily care ones now. Coupon can be found here: http://www.whitestrips.com/en_US/special_offers/index.jsp And you can find it here with a quick search of gottadeal: http://www.gottadeal.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70891&highlight=crest+whitestrips
