It doesn't surprise me because when school supplies went on clearance I bought 100's of notebooks for my kids school and the person in charge in that department came up to me as I was paying and thanked me for getting rid of it!

My Belkin sucked too! I have a Netgear and we haven't had any problems so far and it's been about a year.

REPOSTS AND SEARCHING FOR A POST Just a quick FYI since we are getting an influx of reposts lately. Perform a simple search using one or two keywords to see if the subject has been posted previously. The search tab is on the top right at the page numbers. Just click it and a box will come up type in your words hit go. Search through all of the hits to see if what you are wanting to post matches. If so don't make a new post but feel free to bump the post up if it is still active. If you notice a repost just click the little red dot under the users avatar (left side, under the user name, the first post in the thread) and in the report post box type repost along with a link to the previously posted item. Don't just type repost in the quick reply box because the board is getting busy with the holidays approaching and several new members a day joining our community it is hard for the moderators to read every post and find the ones that are reposted. Searching allows you to find what you are looking for quickly, and allows you to check to see if something has already been posted before you make a duplicate. There are several ways to search. The easiest is to use the search box in the upper right of any forum page, under the blue tabs: Enter what you'd like to search for and click the "SEARCH" button. - Another way is by using the search drop down menu. You access this by clicking on the "Search" link in the blue navigation bar across the top of every forum page (between the "New Posts" and "Quick Links" links): Again, just enter what you'd like to search for. You can also choose if you'd like the results shown as threads or as individual posts. - Finally, for a more refined search, click the search drop down menu, and click on the "Advanced Search" link. I found quite a few Christmas Barbie dolls in the toy isles & they were full price ($12.99) which was higher priced than the regular barbie dolls. Thanks to whoever gave the tip about the holiday flavors of coffee I found one in the coffee isle, I forgot to check the pop isle though.

I had some other ones that didn't expire until 12/31

I bought Christmas clearance the day after Christmas and asked the cashier if I could return something if my daughter didn't like it and she told me to make sure that I kept my receipt and it would be no problem.

There were coupons in the paper a few weeks back for the boxes of chocolates & m&m's, $1 off the boxes and $1 off 2 bags of m&m's.

I just went and they were 75% off but watch the register, several things scanned at 50% off.

I don't know about Tax Cut, but I think with Turbo Tax you have to type in some sort of key off the box if I remember correctly. I have let others do their tax on my computer at my house after I do my taxes with Turbo Tax.

Don't forget with the Christmas clearance that you can use coupons! I used coupons on the Dixie paper plates, Holiday Kleenex, red & green M&M's and Pillsbury frosting at Target. And at Walmart I used them on the holiday Ziploc bags, making all of it a much better deal. So don't forget to check your coupons.

I was at the one here today and they didn't have any Christmas clearance that I saw

That has been TRU's policy since last Christmas, if not before then. They will not budge and it doesn't matter if the item says it's a TRU exclusive or has TRU anywhere on the packaging. No receipt = no return or exchange, period.

Amen! And their "clearance" deals now STINK compared to the way that they used to do it! Their "sales" change every couple of days, and their "sale" prices are more than other stores regular prices.

You will get store credit for the lowest selling price that it has been on sale for. You should be able to exchange it though with no problem, Kohls is good about that!

Of course they have the right to cancel any order and there's nothing you can do about the one that you haven't received. And I think that once that you have it there's nothing that they can do, they can't make you return it. Wait and see if they call you, but they cannot charge you any extra for their mistake. Are you sure that it's recalled because of the price and no other reason? Are they still selling them just at a higher price? If they call you tell them that you had already given them out as gifts.

What store? Some Walmarts sometimes have ads behind the service desk counter to pm, but they won't pm a store like CVS or Kroger that you need a shopper card to get their sale prices.

I had the same problem with a gift card, all that I got for my older son was a giftcard (besides stocking stuffers) because that's all he wants. I didn't want him to miss out on unwrapping gifts so I wrapped the giftcard and put it in a shoe box and wrapped that and put that in a bigger box... and now there's a big box under the tree for him :) You can use google and look for sites that show you how to fold money into cool shapes, here's just one cool one http://members.cox.net/crandall11/money/
