Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008

pictures you color on a special paper and cut out and then put in the oven and they shrink and become like hard plastic http://www.shrinkydinks.com/ -
Have you ever thought of putting away say $20 a paycheck starting in Jan/Feb? Twice a month for 10 months and you would have $400 saved up at Christmas time.
-
I thought it was $1.99 too, and you could use .50 or $1 off coupons on them.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008

Here I think that they pull all of the ziploc/hefty... stuff and don't sell it at clearance. I've gone there the day before and it's on the end of an isle and come in the next day right when they open and it's ALL GONE! Nowhere to be found in any isle. Once I found some christmas stuff in the regular isle (that I think they forgot to pull) and it didn't scan at 50% but I asked the cashier and she fixed the price. You don't need to freeze it, most of the candy doesn't expire for a looooonnnnngggggg time. I buy easter candy after easter and it's fine the next easter, same for halloween and christmas, like the holiday m&m's. I just wouldn't put chocolate somewhere it could melt. -

I went back this afternoon and it was still at 50% and I scanned a couple of things to check. I also noticed that some of the Halloween stuff has orange stickers on it, so I'm wondering if that stuff won't go down for a while? They don't usually sticker it if they want to be rid of it right away... -
I can't believe it!!! And don't they usually have some makeup deal where it's free after rebate? At least they had the photo christmas cards on sale again.

75% isn't supposed to be until tomorrow, do the workers ever admit to a "schedule"? or ever say "yes don't buy it today the price will be less tomorrow?" -
Stealing or Getting Lucky.... What do you think?

It's karma alright, bad karma. Especially if you noticed in the store or store parking lot. I have realized that a cashier didn't charge me for something and I did go back and point it out, especially when it's something expensive. I have also handed cashiers back my change when they have given me too much back. But I also have gotten home and wondered why my stuff didn't cost as much as I thought and checked my receipt and realized that the cashier didn't charge for something under $5, in that case I did not go back to the store. And as to the person complaining about competent help, you must never have worked retail. Even the best cashiers get frazzled when it's that busy and people are yelling at you for things you have NO control over, and you're trying to get people out of there as fast as possible and the line doesn't look like it's getting any shorter, and people just keep complaining, and you're continually ringing people up for hours without a break trying not to forget to ask the customer this or that because that's what corporate says you have to do... I was a cashier for many years and now will yell at someone for yelling at a cashier. -
Way to go orangedaisy!

When I went in on Friday the Dollar Spot was 75% off, when I went in yesterday it was 50%. Someone must have put out the wrong signs because it did ring up at .50 and the cashier had to adjust it. -
rumors from employees or because you work there? or rumors from friends?

Is this a BF sale or a current sale?
-
Me too! I don't usually buy Tide, only BF at Walgreens. I want to see the rest of the ad!

Real trees my entire life until a few years ago started getting hives when we cut the tree, put it up and put ornaments on it. Kind of takes the fun out of it! And they were getting worse every year. Didn't matter if I wore a long sleeved shirt & gloves. Got a pre-lit tree and would never go back. No more watering every day and needles all over the place and the lights are already on, no having to re-cut the bottom off the tree because it's too big... it's way easier now.

Should be :) -
They're terrible whenever they have a big sale. 2 people cutting fabric and 1 register open and there's other employees stocking and walking around the store, and then someone else will come up to the cutting desk and 1 will leave.

something about if it's under a certain amount you have to use paypal and if it's over you have to pay with a credit card, I read it on their site once that's a great idea! -
And I wonder if they'll do a deal with the photo cards again this year?

I found on the Maytag website - a compact washer that's 2.4 cu ft a supersize capacity that's 3.2 cu ft and a supersize that's 3.5 they also have a 4.0 cu ft that's called a supersize plus capacity (that are very expensive) so I would think it's at least a normal size washer and not a small one I have a "oversize capacity" that fits my quilts but I cannot find how many cu ft it is...

I called Sears to fix my washer a couple of years ago (right after the manuf. warranty expired of course) and they charged me $120 to replace a $13 part and where they come from is about 5 minutes from my house (if you hit every red light). You're stuck! Can you live with 3 kids without a washing machine? Not for very long. Do you spend $120 or buy a new washer? Spend the $120. I have since found a wonderful local repair company that charges $45 to come out and doesn't charge any additional trip charges... With the regular warranties it usually covers parts but not labor. When you buy the extended warranty you're completely covered and have no cost. I think you have to pick and chose what you buy an extended warranty for. I have got them for some things and never used them. I bought a 3 year one for a cheap vacuum years ago (that never last a year in my house) and Best Buy had to give me a new vacuum 3 or 4 times. I think now they have some stipulation that they only replace something once. But that warranty was definitely worth it! My camera broke and Best Buy gave me a new one. My furniture set got a stain that they couldn't remove (or maybe it was a hole in it or something?) and I got an entire new living room set from American TV. I got one for my camcorder and never had to use it. When we bought a TV from Sams this summer (not very big or expensive) we decided it was worth the $100 to have a couple of years of protection and just considered it as part of the cost when we were looking to buy a TV.

Where's the Tide Laundry Detergent? They ALWAYS have Tide on sale that morning!?!? And I think the Webkinz Littlekinz is a new thing for Walgreens & not from last year.
