There were maps at my WM too, but you couldn't put the blitz items in your cart until 5am, which was no big deal to me since I wanted the Gameboy and they didn't have those out until 5am anyway. I had an excellent experience there.

I have two boys going to college in the fall...isn't that a sad story??? LOL

LMBO! I wrapped all my gifts today. The only gifts I have left to get are gift cards, and they don't need wrapped! Yippee!!!!!!!

I was at WM today and they still had several of their blitz items available. They had the Dora and Spongebob tv/dvd sets, the Garth CD sets, and some other electronic items that I didn't look too closely at.

I counted - my WM had 50 of them. It was one per person, and everyone I saw adhered to that so that those all through the line had a chance to get one as well. There was no line cutting and nobody trying to take more than they were allowed. I was very impressed. I was 2nd in line, so I got to choose my color, but most everybody else had to take the pearl blue, but they can bring it back and exchange for a different color later.

I don't set an amount. I try to get the kids things they want and worry about that rather than spending the same amount on each of them.

I bought the same tv. I guess I'll check it out today. We bought it for our son to take to college next year, so I hope it lasts at least that long.

I didn't have any bad experiences today, so I'm not going to vote. This was the BEST year I've ever had. I attribute much of it to the GottaDeal site! :)

Walmart was awesome this morning. The employees were VERY friendly and helpful, and it was incredibly organized and fair. I was truly impressed. I got in line at 3:30 am (I was 2nd) for the Gameboy Advance SPs, but was out of the store by 5:15. They had all the registers open and it was just great!

I had a good experience at Kohls as well. Our line started at the very center of the back of the store and wound around the side to the front. It took over an hour, but it was ok. My mom and I took turns standing in it. I now have $80 to spend next week!

Oh, wait, I take back my have fun! LOL I don't think you should get in line and then sell the tickets. That is not right, but I guess if people are willing to pay for it, then who am I to say anything? I guess I would have to think the $50 might be worth not having to stand in line myself???

Well, that would be different, but I didn't think it sounded like that's what was planned.

I agree, it probably depends on the mall, but I know in the past at my local mall they have let you in to wait inside for KB.

Same at my Meijer in Indianapolis...the lines were incredibly long. They had tons of the tvs all over the store at my location. I'm hoping for the tv/dvd combo at WM tomorrow!

They had everything wrapped in the black plastic and they didn't even know what was in them until they unwrapped them. There were customers all over the place opening the wrappers themselves to be able to get what they wanted. The employees were unable to tell anyone where anything was. Their reply was "You'll just have to walk around and look." I felt bad for them b/c they didn't know, and I know they were tired of being asked.
