  1. I think it's a great idea! We always put scratch-offs in the kids' stockings. I want one of them to win, but in the back of my mind I always wonder what will happen if one of them does win a big amount...will the others be mad? LOL
  2. I like zucchini bread, and I use ALL applesauce, no oil. You can substitute applesauce for oil in almost anything you bake. Now I'm hungry!
  3. If you ever need to find a phone a phone number when you're out, no need to pay the fee that the cell phone company charges anymore, just call 1-800-373-3411 and all you are charged are the minutes for making the call. I think my company charges $1-$1.50 for this service, and I've used it before in desperation, so I was happy to program this into my phone!
  4. We like it! However last time we were there I got called into work and had to leave too quickly to enjoy our food!
  5. Well, that's great, if I had that much to spend! Grrrr...wish I did. Why can't they just offer one NOT bundled????
  6. I do this frequently. I just baked my peanut butter cookies yesterday from dough I had made two days previously and put in the fridge. I love baking - maybe that's why my jeans are a little tight. :)
  7. We do lots of little tradition type activities. We sleep out by the Christmas tree one night. We watch Christmas movies together. We have beef tenderloin and creamed spinach on Christmas Eve. We give Christmas pjs to the boys. We get ornaments for the kids each year, but they get them when we put the tree up. We go and cut down our own tree each year. Oh, and dh always hides my gift. I never know where it's at, but he always gets it Christmas morning. The first year he hid it in the tree. :)
  8. I'm glad your mom got that much money back. I love Kohl's!!
  9. Well, one of my major faults is I always wish people to do the fair thing. I guess it could be worse.
  10. I heard that our local Wal*Mart came over the PA system yesterday and announced they had 15 of the 360s available right then. I think that's wrong! That means only people who happened to be in the store at that moment had a chance. I think they should have just put them in the case and let those who were actually looking for them get them!
  11. Do you still have one available? If so, I might be interested depending on how much you are asking for it.
  12. We're not camping out. My son's Xbox broke over a month ago, but we have decided that it's not worth standing out in the cold in order to get the new one. We'll just wait until we can walk in and buy it and walk out. He's 17, and desperately misses having Xbox, but he's the one who said he really didn't want to wait in line for it, so we'll be waiting until after the first of the year. :) I hope you get yours and I hope the weather is great while you're out in it.
  13. Thanks for sharing this! He checked a 100 mile radius for me and there was nothing. He did say you can call your local store and they can do the same check as the 800 number. He said there was some store in Colorado that had 12 of them though. Too bad I don't live there. :) They were very friendly on the phone.
  14. Here are some Squiggle Wiggle Writers on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/Squiggle-Wiggle-Writer-5-nib-Fine-Motor_W0QQitemZ6021029713QQcategoryZ2518QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    Hiding Places :)

My oldest (17) doesn't look for his presents. He says that he can't think of a more awful Christmas morning than knowing what he was going to get. Last year I hid the little guy's gifts in the oldest's closet, but this year they're in dh's closet since it's small (Game Boy) and easy to hide. Santa doesn't wrap gifts, so those are the only ones being hidden. The rest have been wrapped since Thanksgiving Saturday.

    Hiding Places :)

Why would your parents hide the neighbors???
  17. Sorry I'm not any help! I have never heard of those. I'm curious to see what they are though if someone else figures it out! Can you ask them where they saw them?

    day after xmas

I'm hoping to get some of the Illuminations ornaments at Hallmark. I love them, but refuse to pay that much money for them.
  19. I bought one at Target on BF for around $35-40 and I love it! We have used it non-stop. It's a great gift!
  20. I said it before, but I'll say it again...if your mom ever goes on vacation, I'll step in for her. :) But remember, the best gift from a son to a mom is a hug!
  21. You guys definitely deserve to get one! I hope that you're able to. That's a great idea! Merry Christmas!
  22. I keep forgetting to get the WM gift cards for Cooper's teacher and teacher's aide, so I need to get that done. Other than that I think I'm done! Although someone mentioned today that there are Narnia action figures out and a couple of those would be fun for the little guy.
  23. Wow, you're not here to make friends, are you? Your first paragraph makes no sense to me, but maybe that's because I'm not willing to camp out for XX hours to "show em I care". Thank GOD my kids don't feel the need to relate gifts to love in my home.
