  1. Sears has slim sizes. My dd11 just barely tips the scales to 50 lbs so I too know about the need for slims and the adjustable waists that need to cinched to the farthest button to fit the waist and then they feel and fit awkward. My dd13 could still wear a 14 slim but prefers a juniors 00!
  2. We get things for our AWANA Chums and Guards Country Store (3rd-6th grade girls Bible club) when they have the 10 for $5 sales the girls go nuts for that stuff. I will have to go check it out, this is the only place my daughter can find inexpensive earrings that don't irritate her ears!
  3. Wow, I've been a member forever and have NEVER gotten an email from them. I will have to go in and see what's up with that!
  4. If you can't find the phone at Walmart in your area, they have a deal going on right now where you can get the same phone plus 2 60 minute phone cards for $19.99 BUT it does not have the Double Minute for Life on it. I too love my Tracfone, one tip I would tell you is ALWAYS use an additional minute code when adding airtime. You can find the code by googling "Tracfone Codes" or you can join the Tracfone_Users yahoo group and there is a list of current codes in the database.
  5. All Christmas still 75% in Arizona EXCEPT (grrr!) Christmas trees, they are only 50% and there are still a lot of them! I was going to buy one for 75% but not for 50%, was really hoping for 90% but don't think I'll get there again before Saturday and it will all probably be gone by then.
  6. I got a different one for $5 off $30: http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/promotion?pid=6192&step_nbr=160
  7. Is this a legit online coupon or a copy of one someone received elsewhere?
  8. Very cool, have been meaning to take dd 11 to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. Maybe New Years.
  9. Go to Engergizer.com and sign up for their newsletter. They always have a $1 printable coupon each month. Also there were coupons on the packages of energizer batteries I just bought.
  10. Yeah! I will use with my Kohl's cash to get an even better deal!
  11. I can't imagine why anyone would blast you for that. Sounds very innocent which I would hope it would be at 9. Also I think it is wonderful that her family is including him, kudos to that family. When she brings a boy home when she is 16 it will be very normal and natural for all of them, because that is how it has been since she was small.
  12. Got 7 right, mostly by guessing, since like everyone else most didn't apply.
  13. Cuckoo Frosty-Buns sbooher and zingerhil we must be distantly related, maybe our snowflakes came from the same cloud...
  14. Comet Like Comet you are always happy. Nothing seems to get you down and you can always put a smile on people's faces Awwwhh something good for a change.
  15. 133 kisses on the cheek 13 kisses on the lips 10 make out sessions That's way too many kisses on the cheek and way to few make out sessions...I need to get a life!
  16. This year in your Christmas stocking you will get: A Cliff Richard CD Don't know who the heck he is, but it is one more CD I don't have time to listen to.
  17. We really haven't in past years but I have always felt guilty when they got a gift and we didn't have one in return. Last year was DD first year of Jr. High and several of her friends gave her gifts and we had nothing in return. This year she is asking about having some small gifts for several of her closer friends. I am glad she is thinking proactively and we are working out a simple combination of chocolate and body stuff that will cost around $3-5 each for about 5 friends. Now her younger sister who is 10 wants in on the game. It got me wondering how everyone else handles this whole gift giving thing and where you draw the line.
  18. Do you bother to wrap a gift card? If so what are some creative ways you have found to do this? DD is giving a $5 gift card for her Jr High gift exchange at church. We are sticking it in one of the .59 mini stockings from Walgreens, which got me thinking about other clever ways to wrap or disguise a gift card.
  19. Awesome deals! I went today and got things priced even lower than online! The bonus was a dress I had bought for my daughter for Christmas just days earlier for $40 was now clearanced to $11! Didn't have the receipt on me so I bought another one and will go back and return the original for a refund, glad I told her not to take the tags off. Got $10 in Kohl's cash for friends and family night!
  20. Where do you vote? I don't see anything like that on the website, maybe I am looking in the wrong place.
  21. Doesn't take much as a parent to embarrass your kids especially when they are tweens/early teens, so I just capitalize on it. I asked my 13 yo (in front of her friends) if it was okay if she got a singing/dancing Elmo if I couldn't find the tickle me kind she wanted.
