I am not sure but I have seen here on the boards where the cashiers are typing something into the registers and its getting the last price listed on the item? not sure if that would come up with the Christmas items but if its obviously Christmas, they are probably going to give you only 10% back (90% clearance). Just a note, it specifically indicates Holiday/seasonal items in their return policy. They instituted this about 4-5 years ago, give or take since so many people were returning items bought at 50% and buying again at 75% or 90% to take advantage of the better sale. With any holiday clearance you can return but they will only give you back what the price is at the time of return, so if you bought at 50% and its stil 50% than you will get your money back, if you bought at 50% and its now 75% than you will only get the 75% off price back. You can return and hope the items make it back onto the shelf to rebuy at 75%. Its happen but not very often where you can immediately rebuy at the cheaper price, most times though you have to wait for it to be restocked which is usually later in the day or next day. Now with general clearance, you can return and get your full purchase price back no matter how low it goes and than rebuy if it makes it to the shelves again. I generally buy the items if I see them on the shelves at the bigger clearance price and than return the other one and get my money back.

Our target clearance went 75% off on Jan 1st, some areas went on the 31st and some on the 2nd. Ours has been consistent for three years now.

Last night, I added a bunch to my cart, but wanted free shipping so scouted around for some more items and when I went to check out, a majority of the items were OOS, Kmart does that all the time, lets you add to cart so you think its fine but when you go to checkout, they inform you its not available. Sometimes you order and than they email a week later. Pet Peeve, not having a cart tally that deletes your stock as it is bought. Its a waste of time to add things to your cart and than not available. These were the items I put in my cart just now and this is what comes up.... OMG Thank you, I just ordered! I tried about 5 lego stores in 4 states around here and nothing.....he will be happy since we missed out the first time.

Our Walmart must of gotten all the Gateways LOL I went in around 4:30 for other items and was walking pass so I asked a associate, he pointed to a case (endcap) and it was full of the Gateways, looked like 14 or maybe even more if it was deeper and didn't even look like one had been removed. I guess not alot of people get online here in our are (Montana)

Went in to Walmart today around 4:30 and asked about the laptop, he pointed me to a locked end cabinet, it was full with the $398 Gateways. I was tempted but I bought one with just a tad better specs for $449 but there was probably 14 there, didn't look like anyone knew about the sale. Probably tomorrow some people will see it

Unless you buy the bundle DS systems like Nintendogs than it doesn't come with games. I don't know how old she is but my daughter loves the Nintendogs, Catz and Dogz ones. You can always find clearance DS games and watch the online forum, Amazon has been having some great sales on DS games.

Oh how funny, we didn't put gifts under the tree when the kids were younger but last year I put some out for grandparents etc, I think this year I am going to wrap some without tags with something like marbles or something that makes funny noises and watch those kids for weeks before Christmas try and figure out the gifts (they are 11 and 12).

I found 4 Minute Maid Fruit punches today, its been like 6 months since I found the last batch. They also had mayo for .76, I looked at the date and good till next Apr so not sure why they were clearing them out, maybe a test brand or container?
