Your right, as a buyer, looking at what I pay, it doesn't matter if something is $1 with $19 shipping or $19 with $1 shipping it all ends up $20 that I pay for the item. The gripe is actually on the selling side because with the first seller ($1 with $19 shipping) they are not paying eBay the final fees as does the second seller so eBay who is a business is seeing this and decided to raise their fees across the board to all of us. Yes the first seller will be impacted but not as much as the second seller would be. Also, eBay is having to deal with alot of complaints of buyers about the first sellers shipping charges even though they usually know this fact up front because most sellers do put the shipping charges in their auctions (beware of ones that don't) but its funny how buyers knowing this fact, still buy and than complain when the item only costs $x.xx amount to ship and they have paid three times that amount??? This is why eBay is doing this campaign to regain buyers trust???? Not sure if there was a problem but they sure presented it as one. They are also getting alot of complaints through Paypal for items significantly not as described that they are having to deal with, Paypal use to side mainly with the buyer but realizing that there are people who are making a career out of bilking sellers with the SNAD claim. I just had this happen to me and Paypal actually sided with me, the seller, since the item was exactly as I described (it was a mp3 player which was not compatible with the persons computer, she also wouldn't comment on whether the SD card featured worked or not (I think it did) and as a seller, I cannot guarantee compatiability, just that its brand new etc). Ebay is not what it use to be, it use to be a place where you and I could go and buy or sell some items, maybe make alittle cash or get rid of items in our house. Its now become a place of giant sellers and not at all the old auction feel that it once had. Its actually pretty expensive to sell on there for me, who is small time! The new revision was aimed right at those large sellers, which I find funny since that is who is making eBay their money. I agree, if you don't like the auction terms of that seller, don't buy from them. Its really a simple concept but I guess ebay was getting so many complaints (or feel they were) that they needed to revise and penalize the sellers. One thing I do notice is that buyers are not reading the auction terms or details very well, I don't know how many emails I get asking me about an item and that particular detail is right there in the auction description and often right in the title line of the auction. I answer the question and go on but its still kinda of annoying LOL

Just checked, the Enchanted Orchid Bouquet is $57.95 w/o vase, $67.95 with vase and $16.95 to ship, Holy Moly, thats really high shipping. I understand Orchids are expensive but whew.....Maybe someone can find a code for those interested in the flowers. -
Oh I have had that happen once (only once though). I wait one business day to see that the funds have indeed cleared etc. I have heard where paypal even reversed a week later, its like what, how are we suppose to wait that long if they mandate us to ship out in a prompt manner.

I think buyers need to report people charged extraorbinant shipping prices! Ebay doesn't always do something but they are watching more carefully now since they revise the whole feedback and fee structure system. I personally hate the new DSR which are those star system because I am finding that buyers really aren't aware of the high cost of shipping. I charge $1.50 handling on my auctions-this is to include ink, paper, label, packing material, gas to the PO (we don't have at home pickup or if going FedEx have to take to airport) and alittle bit of time. This is on top of exact shipping cost, I use the shipping calculator and send the way the buyer has chosen so its just exact cost plus $1.50. I have a 4.7 out of 5 stars on shipping cost??????what?????????, look I really don't make up the price, its based on the weight of the item and a very small handling charge. Insurance is required for anything over $25 and its always included on the package if paid for. I even give buyers the option of FedEx for packages over 3 lbs because I know the PO is expensive, I have to drive into the next town where FedEx is located and don't charge anymore than the $1.50. I do ship int'l and there is where the lower stars may of come from since those cost are absolutely ridiculous. Of course, the one time I let a buyer pay for first class int'l shipping its ended up in Paypal dispute because of course the package hasn't arrived yet and they didn't want to give the 6 weeks that first class mail usually takes waiting time. So back to not allowing it. On the flip side, there is nothing more maddening is to see $1.50 on a package shipping and you have paid $8-9, I send the method the buyer has chosen, if there is a miscalculation or I can get it into a smaller box making it lighter, I refund the difference. I think most people appreciate and understand the cost of shipping, but occassionally we all get one or two who gives us a hard time about it.

Ours were marked and I did go ahead and buy it, not sure if I am keeping it for $55, if it goes down to what like $27, than its a gotta have! They had about 10, just got to remember to go in on the electronics markdown day. They also had just a mp3 player (not a media one for $27.xx). -
OMG, we do this.....I will spurgle for the big popcorn for $5 (refills free) and all the kids have to bring a drink, we sometimes have pop but if not than stop on the way at a grocery store that has the quarter pop machines LOL Sometimes, I get a deal on bottled (20oz ones) on sale and can go that way too. They also have to bring candy with them, definitely not buying that there either.....LOL

I occassionally get a card in the mail with $5 or $10 but nothing steady and no other coupons either. Also holiday 2006 it was nice because if you spent $250 (promotion) than you got a 10% off coupon but this last Christmas there must of not been such a promotion because I only got one 10% off and I was like at the regular points which was what 1000 or 1200? -
Is this the framed one? or the blow up ones....We are also looking for one, we need the biggest one they make which is like 24 x 52" but its PVC framed and curious how it stands up and is there a frame on the bottom or is the only framework the sides?

I had mentioned them (someone else might have too), I bought them too at 50% off ($8.98) thought they were a good deal. They had lots of them left so hoping they go down some more. They are expensive if you look on HSN, QVC and places like that. Also, since they are not seasonal, you should be able to take them back if you can get some at 75% (they won't price match so you will have to rebuy them at 75%) and just take them back on your 50% receipt. They are great in areas that don't have a plug handy. -

You might check $ stores for those big gift bags, I got some on clearance after Christmas. I don't know when you are giving as a gift but maybe you could use the wagon as the vessel for other gifts like a Easter basket (Just put all the items into it) or if baby shower than maybe some other gifts wrapped up and placed into it and big bow put on it. I use to not wrap gifts, I put them into something else as the giftwrap. For instance, I would use a backpack that I found on clearance and wrap the other little gifts and place inside or tote bags with characters on it (like giftbags but used alot more often by kids). I do the same for Christmas stocking things for adults, I find a really cool bag, tote, basket or something they might enjoy and make it up like a "giftbasket". Another idea is a plain trash bag (white) scrunch up the top and tye off with a pretty bow? -

You could use very small hooks but I use clear push pins, carefully, you just push the pin into the ceiling between the wires (don't puncture the white wire casing). If you use hooks (you know the little ones with a s hook on one end and threads on the other) I might suggest getting ones that match your ceiling color. Some other good uses are for parties above tables or party room, if you could get more than a couple of sets, you could weave them all over the ceiling, also set them on the table as decorations. Another use is just above the closet (wrapped around the upper part of the molding). Great in bathrooms around mirrors. My son hooked up his under his loft bed (each wire is tucked alittle under the mattress and above the slats, he has his shelf bins with legos under there so he plays there. LOL I hang alot of decorations from the ceilings-I have halloween light lanterns that I hang in the kitchen all over the ceiling, it is so cool when the regular lights are turned off...... -

Personally I think they moved this collection through too fast, now they got the patio stuff out, ok, great for Ca or Fl but we are in Montana, we definitely aren't going to be buying patio stuff for at least 2 more months. I know I don't want to buy something that I cannot put outside yet. Whats the rush! LOL -
yes, if you are going to blow it, do it big time!

I think this is going to be a YMMV, our area never has the national deals.....I agree that the calorie count is so high, as well as half you fat grams for a day-I believe the fish sandwiches are one of the highest calorie items on the menu (or darn near it). I like McDonalds fish sandwich....but very rarely get the meal since I believe its close to $5 here, I am going to check on that. I saw someone post that it was $3???

I think right now in the stores there isn't going to be much of a price break. The cheapest that I have seen was $109 at Target, then they went back up to the $129 pricebreak. I would suggest Ebay or if you have a local Gamestop-they carry used ones.

Isn't it great for that, they can just take a bin or two with them. We use to have huge totes and they were just too big, this way he can see what he is looking at. -
