My husband does not like BF. However, if he gives me grief over getting up early to go and stand in the cold, I only have to say one word "hunting" and he stops talking!

Our main tree is 7' pre-lit w/ fiber optics; Cailyn's (daughter) has a 3.5' prelit in her bedroom.

I would much rather have the discount upfront, but I'll send in for the rebate. Walgreens usually has mine back pretty quickly. I've just started recently using the manufacturer rebate forms (i.e. Febreze), so we'll see how that goes.

Another vote for Kmart; I usually have a hard time finding what I want. However, last year one of our Walmart stores was already sold out due to the fact that someone released the pallets early (24-hr store).

I love this day! I know that most people think I'm insane for getting up this early since I have the day off, but it's just my official start of the holiday season. Since I have most of my shopping done, I only go out for the really good deals and stocking stuffers. But, I love the hustle and bustle. I always make sure to smile and let the store employees know they are appreciated.

L ve Harry!! This one and Jim Brickman's "Peace" are the two that are always in my car during the holiday season.

I usually leave my house at 4:30 to meet up with my mom. Normally, I'm home around 11-12.

I'm also going to chime in on how much I love my prelit tree. We got a 7' prelit with fiber optics (which you can turn off separately). Trust me when I say that this has been a blessing on my level of stress during the holiday season. My biggest fight with hubby was over the lights.

After BF: I wrap the presents Friday night. The only exception is Cailyn's - I wait until Saturday night to do hers after she goes to bed.

After Thanksgiving: I put out decorations on Saturday, the tree goes up Sunday, and hubby puts up the outdoor lights the next weekend.

Check your local Big Lots - mine had alot of board games marked $4.99. No - I have my cell phone wrist carrier. It's big enough to have all of the essentials but I can just slide it over my wrist but keep it in clutched in my palm when I'm in the middle of a big crowd: phone, debit card, a pocket for my list, a pocket for my receipts, and a quick snap for my keys.

Ditto! If you see a good deal, I say snag it. I'd kick myself if I waited and then it was gone or not at the same price.

The only things I buy on BF are the really bottomed-out priced toys or stocking stuffers (the other I buy now online and at sales). So, since I don't have anything big to carry, I just take my Taurus. It's easier to whip in and out of lanes than hubby's F150.

Debit card - quicker than writing a check and I don't have to worry about dropping any cash.

Same here - my daughter loves getting games for Christmas. This year, she's getting Cootie and Pretty Pretty Princess.

My 1st time was in 1999 - I had just gotten married in July and my husband left to go hunting Thanksgiving night. Since I couldn't sleep very well that night, I woke up at 4, shopped until 7:30 and then went into work. Luckily, the place that I work at now gives us the day after Thanksgiving off, so I never have to worry about that scenario again!

It won't affect me - Friday's my day off anyway, so instead of spending the gas to drive to work, I'll use it to hit the stores. All of our places are pretty close in proximity.

We usually go to Walmart, then hit the stores in the mall (KB Toys, Sears, JC Penney). Then, go to Sonic for a quick breakfast. After that, we just hit whatever's left! However, this year we will have a Target to go to, so our schedule might change.
