  1. I was there about 2 weeks ago when mine was 50% off. Got a couple of shepherd's hooks for $1.75-3.00, and misc flower pots. I'll have to go by there today and see if there's anything left.
  2. My walmart gave some tickets last year. I was the 1st one in line, and there were only 2 of the 52" TVs. They came out and gave the speech of "no running, no pushing, shoving, or anything like that". They were letting us know where some of the bigger items were. I made a point to ask the manager that was giving the "this will not be allowed" speech if they would be handing out tickets for the tv, and he said no. I told them that I had been sitting there since 9pm, and no one else showed up until only 1-2 hrs before their opening. I wasn't going to kill myself trying to get to this tv, and he knew as well as I did that there would be running, pushing, shoving, and everything else he just announced what would not be allowed. He went back in, came back out about 10 minutes later with tickets for the computers, and some of the other bigger items. He then handed me a ticket for the TV I was there for, the lady behind me was there for the same tv so he gave her the other one, then announced that the 52"tvs were gone. He made my day on that one.
  3. Holy Crap!! What a deal!! I'm going to HD tomorrow morning.
  4. Lakeside Collection is the same company as LTD and ABC. The silliest thing is, if you order something from LTD lr ABC and they say it's out of stock, you can still order it from Lakeside, and (most of the time) they have it in stock. I have found that Lakeside ships a little quicker than the other two, but with Lakeside you pay when you order, and you pay a standard shipping amount, whether they ship it in 1 box or 5 boxes. With ABC and LTD, if they ship in 5 different boxes, you're paying shipping charges 5 times.
  5. Fake, because I put so many lights on, and leave it up so long.
  6. Christmas tree with lots and lots and lots of lights, the multi- colored ones and at least 1 strand of twinkle ones. All the lights off, except for the tree and a cup of cider. Hmm, is it too early to put my tree up??
  7. I think they're just messing with us. There is a Santa. There is!!!! And y'all are gonna be sorry come Christmas Eve, all you non believers. No Santa? That's
  8. Year before last I think I just stuck my money, credit and debit cards, and drivers license in my pocket. Last year I think I carried a purse. Normally I would wear jeans, tshirt, and flip flops. Last year I had to wear a jacket because I got a little chilly. Hopefully this year will be back to my flip flops and jeans and tshirt, no jacket.
  9. Ok, I got it down to $239 at Linens and Things (lnt.com) using the 25% off single item code 205200000007, and choosing to pick up in the store. There's one available at the LnT at: Cross County Plaza 4346 Okeechobee Blvd. W. Palm Beach, FL 33409 299.99 - 75.00 25% off +14.63 sales tax checkout total is showing $239.62 Now I want one of these. LOL
  10. Last year I drove by our "old people" walmart* on the way home from T-giving dinner at a friends house around 9pm to see how many people were already in line. No one was there yet, so I zoomed home, changed into more comfy clothes and shoes and to grab my beach chair. Got back about 9:30, still no one there. I parked and just sat in my car until the next person arrived, which wasn't until almost 3am. I was first in line. This year it's just going to depend on who has the best deal. I'm going to be looking for a new laptop this year. My sister got the Compaq one that was at Circuit City last year and I really like it.
  11. Wow. This year has flown by. My guess/wish for the new item is a travel mug to keep my hot chocolate hot. (even in FL it got a little chilly sitting out last year).
  12. Good deal. I already get this magazine. Along with OK! and US weekly. Love my tabloids!

Thanks Brad!! Even though I wasn't targeted. *sigh* left out again.
  15. Mmmmm. Love Honeybaked Ham. Gonna have to remember this. Thanks!!!
  16. I wish I could have signed up for 5 years at that price. LOL All I can hope for is that at the time my subscription expires I can find a similar deal. I get this one, Star, and US weekly. It's my tabloid fix.
  17. This is one of my favorite magazines!! I ordered it last year (Oct) thanks to a deal posted here. $5 for a year.
  18. Me too, I already have envelopes ready. Same here. People at work laugh at me because of my priority of the days I request off for vacation. You can count on me to be on vacation the first week of July for the race in Daytona, and BF. The rest of the year I really don't care about. This year I also requested the day after Christmas, only because we're closed Christmas, I was scheduled the 26th, then off 27th and 28th. So it'll be a 4 day weekend for me.
  19. I need to work my way through the McDonald's Monopoly/Best Buy thing first before I'm ready for BF (anyone hear anything yet on the game this year?? I'm hoping it's around the same time and same, or more relaxed, rules as last year). After that, bring on BF!!!
  20. This was in today's Palm Beach Post http://www.palmbeachpost.com/business/content/business/epaper/2007/06/19/0618ragshops.html Tuesday, June 19, 2007 Rag Shops Inc. is going under. The 61-store chain is selling off its inventory of scrapbooks, beads, sewing notions and art supplies after its Boca Raton-based parent company pulled the plug on the crafts retailer with a bankruptcy court filing. All but two of its Florida outlets are in South Florida; six are in Palm Beach County. Last week, a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge greenlighted the sale by parent company Crafts Retail Holding Inc. Local stores immediately advertised going-out-of-business sales, with merchandise initially cut by 20 percent or more. Crafts Retail Holding Inc. is an affiliate of Boca Raton's Sun Capital Partners Inc., a private equity firm which bought Rag Shops in 2004. I like the Rag Shop. Much closer to me than Michaels.
  21. Awesome!! Now I'm going to have to go check my mail.
  22. It's only been 4 weeks since we all ordered. This is the email I received after ordering: So I'd give it another 4-6 weeks. Sucks that it takes so long, but it does. HTH
