I got a Thanksgiving card today from my OE. It was postmarked 11/22. Gotta love the mail service around here. (note sarcasm) It was a cute card though. I just added it to my Christmas card wall. Thank you OE pal.

My nephew is a Reg Mgr for Journeys, I just sent him an email and a text asking. I don't remember him ever talking about BF sales. I do remember when he opened one of the stores in the St Louis Mills Mall (most stores in Mills malls are outlet) he said their prices were pretty much "always on sale prices" not outlet prices. I'll let ya know what he says though.

I'll be getting there nice and early to get the freebies (after doubling)-- Ronzoni pasta, Lifesaver gummies, and Tic Tac Chills.... you know, the important stuff. LOL I still need to go to kmart to do some price checking, to get the rest of my coupons in order.

are you asking the difference in the two ads? Or asking for comparisons of the two ads? The Thanksgiving ad is for Thanksgiving day only. Then there's the BF ad that starts on Friday. If you're looking for comparisons, I can't help you on that one yet. I haven't really compared them yet. Hope that helped. Sorry if it didn't.

I'm glad my family doesn't mind that I bring my own empty containers to take leftovers home in. (and before I get a "oh my god how rude", my sister insists you take leftovers home, and over the years it just became easier to take my own gladware to transport leftovers home, than to try and transport paper or foam plates covered in foil. She purposely makes enough that anyone that wants leftovers can take leftovers.)

Same here, except mine is Dec 12. Growing up IF I got presents, they were usually "combo" presents given at Christmas. To top it off, my oldest sister got married on my 1st birthday, so my birthday has never been "my day". Now, after 39 years, I just try to ignore the birthday alltogether.

I've had Sprint since 2000. Not gonna say I've been extremely happy with them (I believe there are even some venting threads around here somewhere where I've complained). In 2006 I changed it to a family plan and added one extra line. The bill was messed up for months!! Every time I called to get something straightened out, they would try to compensate by offering a feature for a lower price. I had to call so many times to get so many things fixed that my plan got down to $40 for 2 lines, 1000 min, unlimited n/w starting at 7, unlimited everything else pretty much (texts, internet, data, mobile to mobile, etc). So now I just stay because it's so low. I just make sure I monitor my bill very closely.

For those that don't have SuperK's in your area--- I heard that ALL Kmarts NATIONWIDE will be having super doubles 11/30 through 12/6.

I've made these for the past few years. All I do is melt the chocolate in the microwave and dip the pretzel rod in the melted choc a couple of inches, then lay on wax paper. I use both chocolate bark and the white almond bark for these. And some I will add sprinkles too before the choc firms up. When I melt the choc in the microwave I'll melt it in a coffee cup so it's easier and deeper to dip the rods into. I do just a few at a time, so I don't have to melt much at a time. I'm always afraid of burning it. I make the regular small pretzels too. After melting the choc in a bowl, I throw a few pretzels in, then transfer them from the chocolate to the wax paper with a fork. I do the same thing with the sprinkles on some of these too.

I heard today that Garden Ridge is supposed to have a 4 day event, starting Thanksgiving day through that Sunday night. They supposedly will be open 24 hrs. I can't imagine needing anything from Garden Ridge in the middle of the night, but if the sale is good enough, woo hoo.
