  1. Walmart has both. Not sure if they will be on sale for BF or not but here are links to them on walmart.com Sex and the city $171.87 (it says you're saving 43%- reg 299.95) http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4241802 Friends $182.88 (saving 39%- reg 299.98) http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5150731 I have the entire series of Sex and the City (my favorite show). But I got the seasons individually as they came out. I lack seasons 3, 4, and 10 having the complete series of Friends. I remember seeing someone having Friends seasons for $14.99 on BF. I'm just hoping it's for the seasons I'm needing.
  2. Awww, man..... and no layaway? How am I going to get that home?!? In the past I would just layaway big items like that so I didn't have to lug it home on BF. I'd go back later when it was less crowded and pick it up.
  3. They're a little pricey, but I found these... http://www.sportskids.com/superstore/Nascar/Earnhardt_+Dale/Bedding/p/194561.html?mktid=bizrate&ovchn=BIZ&ovtac=CMP&ovcpn=Nascar&ovcrn=194561-Dale+Earnhardt+Sr_+Bedding+Set http://www.amazon.com/Dale-Earnhardt-2004-Racing-Sleep/dp/B0006G871C http://www.nextag.com/Dale-Earnhardt-Sr-Bedding-500572669/prices-html http://www.fansedge.com/ProductDetail.aspx?pfId=35-41646&fc=bizrate
  4. I was at BB this evening, and there were a couple of pallets of (I'm assuming) these TVs wrapped in black shrink wrap (and not wrapped very well) But... these are large Tvs, so that's still not alot. There were boo-coos (that's alot, incase you didn't know ) of the portable DVD player. Enough that I'm thinking I might can just hit BB after Walmart and still be on on the DVD thing.
  5. Not having all my family in one place. (the rest of the year it's WONDERFUL!!)
  6. Karma smacking me up side the head for rubbing it in that I was wearing jeans, tshirt and flip flops in the "What are you wearing on BF?" thread. ...UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR TO AFFECT SOUTH FLORIDA THROUGH THANKSGIVING... A DEVELOPING STRONG LOW PRESSURE AREA OFF THE NORTHEAST FLORIDA COAST AND HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE CENTRAL UNITED STATES ARE COMBINING TO FUNNEL COLDER AIR SOUTHWARD ACROSS FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON. THE COLD AIR WILL REMAIN IN PLACE OVER SOUTH FLORIDA THROUGH THANKSGIVING MORNING...WITH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO AVERAGE FROM 15 TO AS MUCH AS 20 DEGREES BELOW SEASONAL NORMALS. HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON HAVE ONLY REACHED THE LOWER AND MID 60S ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA...SETTING THE STAGE FOR A CHILLY NIGHT TONIGHT AS THE COLD AIR WILL CONTINUE TO FILTER DOWN THE FLORIDA PENINSULA. LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO DIP TO AROUND THE 40 DEGREE MARK OVER INTERIOR AREAS AROUND LAKE OKEECHOBEE AND THE MID TO UPPER 40S ELSEWHERE INCLUDING THE METROPOLITAN AREAS OF BOTH COASTS. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 10 MPH WILL PRODUCE WIND CHILL VALUES FROM THE UPPER 30S TO THE MID 40S. Still gonna wear jeans and a tshirt. Just might have to rethink the flip flops. LOL
  7. Not one in Target, but I saw a 20" RCA tv in Kmart as for $99.99
  8. LOL.. In the kitchen? a. my kitchen isn't big enough for the things that actually belong in the kitchen b. my computer desk is no more than 50 steps from ANYWHERE in my house c. as far as the guest room goes, I just don't let people come over, then I don't have to worry about them needing a computer in the guest room/Dale Jr shrine.
  9. you buy a new laptop and/or computer every BF??
  10. Years ago (pre- DVD and Tivo) I used to wait until BF to buy (of all things) the 10pk of VHS blank tapes Walmart would have. Every year.
  11. Is the the same Christmas Shoes movie that was an ABC movie of the week a couple of years ago. I think Kimberly Williams Paisley played the mom, and Rob Lowe also had a leading role? Based on Newsong's song "Christmas Shoes"? I love that movie. I didn't know it was on DVD. I'm going to have to find it now. Or put it on my "Dear Santa" list. lol
  12. Wednesday or Thursday's papers. Today is just 4-day sale ads
  13. March?? Just kidding (sort of). I try to have the tree down by the end of January (I like my tree and the lights, I want it as long as possible). One year it came down around Valentine's Day (alot going on at the time, more important that worrying about a Christmas tree).
  14. I've gone to a Supercenter on BF morning before around 2am and gotten all of my PM items, and had them in my cart then parked myself close to one of the Blitz pallets.. As long as they weren't on WM's Blitz, they couldn't stop me from putting those things in my cart. That was a good way to kill time too. But I haven't gone in and hid items..... yet
  15. Ehhh, to each his own.
  16. Can I ask where you got this info?? Edited to add: He's under contract with DEI through 2007. I don't look to see him going anywhere anytime soon.
  17. I also prefer the soft sided luggage rather than the duffel bag type. I have this luggage: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d77/kmbrly999/IMAG048.gif I can always find my luggage at the airport (or it's easy to describe to the airline when THEY lose it)
  18. I'm sooo the opposite. LOL I really don't even care if my tree has ornaments on it at all (weird, I know). My favorite is the lights, and lots of them. The most calming thing for me during the holiday season is to turn on my Christmas tree lights, and turn everything else in the house off. Watch tv or listen to Christmas music by the light of my (colored) Christmas tree. Ahhhhh, now I want to put the tree up today.
  19. I'm doing (sort of) the same thing for my nephew. He and his wife are moving down here (Florida) in the next couple of weeks, so my sister and I are making him a hurricane kit as one of their presents. Big plastic tub with some odds and end hurricane supplies (battery operated TV, flashlights, weather radio, etc). We're going to wrap the stuff inside individually, and then put a big ribbon and bow around the plastic tote. BTW, I love gifts like your giving. I do those for wedding showers, and similar ones for baby showers. much more practical, I think.
  20. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5007288 $24.88 @ walmart.com
  21. I have a prelit tree, that I'll add a strand of twinkle lights, and then a strand of those big round bulb lights. All lights are multi colored. I don't like all white lights.
  22. If I order pizza, I order it from work. we get a 50% discount.
  23. OK, those of you that order from Lakeside, how long does their shipping usually take?? I placed an order a couple of weeks ago, and when I check status on their site, it still says "pending". it wasn't a very big order, a little over $25. I only needed one thing, but to get the mypoints it had to be over $25 so I picked up a couple of stocking stuffers. thanks
  24. Do you watch any shows that are on DVD? I saw the entire series of M*A*S*H at Best Buy in the paper over the weekend. I don't remember the price though.
  25. Now THAT, is what you call service. All mapped out for you. Thanks ladakn99, and to Gottadeal
