For the past 2 years we've gone to a friend's house on Christmas Eve for appitizers and presents. then go back Christmas afternoon for dinner. This year will be different, because I will have more family here. My nephew and his wife are moving here Thanksgiving weekend, and his mom and dad (my sister and BIL) and his brother (my other nephew) will all be here for Christmas. So not sure what we'll be doing this year. I'm anxious to see everyone's traditions.

I'm not much of a Brie person, but this is really good. I had it last year at an appitizer party.

They have Candy Cane again this year in tealights and votives. Unfortunately they didn't bring back Creamy Cocoa. I loved that one too.

I got those fancy-schmancy stockings from Target last year. I forget the name of them, and come to think of it they don't look all that kid friendly I don't think. They were reg price $49 I think. I got them 90% off. I'll have to see if I can find a pic of them.

The only immediate family I have would be my brothers and sisters. My extended family consists of nephews and neices, and great nephews and great neices. I have some cousins that I exchange Christmas cards with, and if we were around each other more we would probably exchange gifts. In my family, pretty much if you don't have kids, you get gifts. If you have kids, then we buy mainly for your kids instead of you (you might still get a small gift). If you keep popping kids out, your gift might get smaller and smaller, cause you're causing us to have to buy for more kids. LOL it's really not as harsh as it sounds when you type it out.

No Targets (that I know of) have layaway either. A girl I know asked a manager a new Target if they had layaway, his reply was no, they didn't want to attract "that kind" of customer.

I'd rather have the tv.

I had to work last year on BF, but I still sat outside Circuit city all night. Then had to be to work at 9am. Slept pretty good Friday night though. Oh, and I've already taken a vacation day for BF this year

Fixed. Yep, my supercenter still had them for $88 when I got one of them in June of this year.

Nope, they don't think I'm nuts. They try to send shopping lists with me, and then call me all night to "keep me company".

Jeans, tshirt, flip-flops -
my breakfast will probably be a bagel/cream cheese and a caramel iced latte from Dunkin Donuts. (I'm still off fast food, so by then, that might be a nice little splurge)

Uggg, that just brought back all kinds of memories. LOL

After Christmas is the best deals. I know that isn't going to help you for this Christmas. I got a 6 ft, multi colored pre lit for $14.

Honestly, I TRY to be "done" by the end of October. Not always the case, but it's a goal. Even if I'm done by then, I'll still buy something that catches my eye along the way, or on BF. Last year, I was at Walgreens at midnight on Christmas Eve buying gift cards and gas cards and other stocking stuffers.
