Call me crazy, but I have been busy doing the shopping for things I think they will like, and now i am just counting the days until I can really say "Write your letter to Santa!!", hoping I was right at least on a few things. How do you handle all of your lists and shopping? Stick to the list they make or make up your version and add it to theirs?

I order a meat and cheese tray from a local deli, boneless hot wings, rolls and such for Christmas eve. A lot of snack type food for all to enjoy through out the day. We pull out the chocolate fountain too. Sometimes we do a big dinner on Christmas, and I try to have a breakfast casserole ready. We save the prime rib for New Years!!!

This year will be the big change for us..kids married, kids out of state that can't come home, so it will be my little boys and us!!! We are ttrying to think of fun ways to make changes instead of it being sad!!!

Too help me cope, I thinkI am going to start to wrap this weekend!! I actually am handing off some gifts next week, so it really is time for some presents!!

I seriously hated the whole Walmart thing last year. I shop there less and less every year, but really a lot less last year. I hate the bully behavior from them towards us here. I think there will be more threats this year.... I just wish they would realize I spend more knowing what is out there...

I would never stop shopping early( all year to be exact), but just like with coupon shopping....you can spend a lot of money on stuff you may not really want or need just because they are an awesome price.

Umm, I may be the only one who is not a Dyson fan. I bought one, used it for 2-3 weeks, and returned it. I ended up with a "Hoover windtunnel2". I was replacing a kenmore progressive, and it was 10 times better than the Dyson, and so is the Hoover. I wanted to "love" my Dyson...I really wanted to, but it just didn't happen. It is a great price at Costco...and they do have a great return policy, if you don't like it!!

thanx for the help... I seriously hate the whole process!! I went with a silver 500 series, only to get a phone call telling me I could of gotten a refund!! Not a store credit!! Ticked off, I am. I think I would of went with an LG from another store!!!

I am so frazzled. We purchased a Maytag Epic last weekend....didn't work, spent a lot of time and money( new sub floor) trying to make it work out. Deciced to try a differant brand, when we and the store decided it was a lost cause. A rushed trip 50 miles away. Well between the salesman and my husband I was in tears at the store not knowing what to get. They had a Bosch 500 in silver, for an awesome price...bought a lot of them because they are phasing out the color. The DLX series was a little more, but it came in white, and no I am not boring, but I cannot get a new dryer right now. Any hoots I kept asking the differance between the two. The saleman was leaning toward the silver Bosch 500... but never would tell me the feature differances. Not worth mentioning he said. I never purchase ANYTHING without comapring and educating myself. I bought the white DLX model, because it was white and come home and start looking around....and it seems to me that the silver 500 series is a lot better featured machine, but I cannot tell for sure!! My Dh was ticked at me because I wouldn't make up my mind in 2 minutes, it is only a washing machine. OMH!!! I left the place crying. I need advise on the two machines..since it won't be delivered until next Friday, if I made a mistake I have time to change my mind!!!

We are converting our loft into a game room, and I want to get my DH a slot machine for Christmas!! I have no idea were to start looking!!
